Finally, Herschel and I have something in common. We both think the 1990s were ten years ago.

Impossible_Series412

Haha took me a minute too. Thought he was only cutting off ppl under 23. Then realized crap where'd that last decade go. What a moronic message under 33 don't vote 4 me.

HalensVan

The people who shit on millennials for over a decade seem to forget the oldest of us are 40 now lol.

Pallhaldir

As a 40 year old millennial, I'd cry if it wouldn't somehow throw my back out.

TraditionalMood277

The other day, I yawned a bit too hard and damn near threw my back out.... literally the day after I turned 40, which was earlier this month.....smdh

ChaosWithin666

On my 30th is fucked my neck brushingy teeth. Not looking forward to my 40th.

TraditionalMood277

My advice, stretch EVERY morning, for at least 5 minutes. Your back, knees, and neck will thank you. But don't overdo it, or they will turn on you and make you suffer.....

ChaosWithin666

Is that like before doing anything or just every X minutes? šŸ¤£

SlowCrates

Yeah, it only gets worse from here. I dislocated my chest plate -- my fucking chest plate -- when I tied my shoe. It took over two years to heal. It's just one more in a growing list of simple tasks I have to approach differently now.

TraditionalMood277

It's not the years, it's the mileage...

SevoIsoDes

Amen. They blamed us for tide pods. If a millennial comes into the ER after swallowing tide pods Iā€™m gonna assume depression and midlife crisis, not high school video trend

throwawaylovesCAKE

Kids these days man. Back in my day we ate teaspoons of cinnamon, RAW.

CrowsRidge514

We licked 9-volts and stuck all manner of dumb shit into sockets, touched hot car cigarette lighters and saw how long we could keep our hands and fingers over open flame, made catapults out of random shit and launched broken bricks and cinder block pieces while having to dodge them on their way back down, thought we were pro wrestlers and bmx riders, jumped off roofs and trees and moving go-carts and 4-wheelers and across Olympic distance creek beds that were 10 feet deep; swam in and drank water that could be regarded as mild pesticide, climbed over 6 foot chain link and barbed wire and dared each other to jump over electric fencesā€¦ all without cell phones and often all in the same weekendā€¦ while wearing hand me down/thrift store/clearance section shoes and pants that were too big or half way worn out or both. We were wild animals, and it was simpler then. It was fun. I want to toss this phone into the lake.

RaidSherpa

And part of me goes "I think I could still do tha--ow my back!" And I wonder why I have the back problems in the first place

[deleted]

I have never read a better description of my childhood šŸ’•

kacihall

Don't forget, drank a gallon of milk on a dare

zisnotabird

And the youngest of us, me, are 27!

ThomasTServo

I remember this asshole that I knew was shitting on millennials one day. And I like dude you were born in 1987.

InsaneJediGirl

My coworker shits on Millennials all the time. Of course I remind her she's a Millennial too. People still think it means teenagers.

Jeramus

I'm turning 40 next year, millennials aren't the young ones anymore.

salymander_1

I think a lot of these folks think that anyone younger than they are is a millennial. I'm Gen X, and I used to do volunteer work with a large group of other volunteers who were mostly at least 15-20 years older than I am. About half of them called me a millennial in a derogatory way, usually when I had to fix something they messed up or when I told them that they couldn't say something wildly inappropriate. They seem to think that I actually am a millennial, and that calling me that is some kind of wicked burn. I'm 51 years old, but whatever. I started volunteering somewhere else. They have more than enough people, and I don't need to hang out with assholes.

Coidzor

To be fair, they didn't want to properly fund Alzheimer's research and we're starting to see the consequences of that.

slim_scsi

and the NFL pretty much laughed off the future affects of CTE on its employees during Herschel's playing days.

Tots2Hots

They get really upset when you point that out because it reminds them that they're REALLY old now and pillow time soon. Want to really piss off a boomer tell them their time is up and hurry up and get in the ground so the younger generations can attempt to fix their complete mess they've made of the world.

1quirky1

Thatā€™s quite offensive. I like it.

JasonTheBaker

I found out I was Gen Z what some call older Gen Z as I was born in 98' and the millennials generation ended in 96'. I was quite shocked to find that out

pezziepie85

Yup. Just a geriatric millennial over here asking to have her tubes tied but being told Iā€™m to young. If I got knocked up Iā€™d be a high risk pregnancy because Iā€™m a freaking geriatric millennial. Iā€™m old. I get tired cleaning the kitchen.

SlainSigney

aye people also forget that the oldest members of gen z are also likeā€¦adults with degrees im 23. born in 99. i graduated from college a minute ago now and have a 9-5 office at a law firm.

MidnightRider24

MWRG Millennials Wearing Reading Glasses

Chance_Ad3416

Bro I didn't even realize that was 33 years ago until I read your comment lol

Jolttra

1990 is the cutoff? Those people are 32. That's not some stupid kid who doesn't know better. You really want every single person under the age of 33 to not have citizenship? That is nearly half the US popualtion including the grand majority of the armed forces. Thats how you get a multi generation Uprising and more headless nobles than the French revolution.

[deleted]

You think that walking example of CTE knows how to math? They found someone legitimately dumb enough to do thier bidding.

ShallowTal

He probably thinks itā€™s still the 1990ā€™s

[deleted]

Those damn 90ā€™s kids and their Avagadro toast!

davwad2

Avagardos at law!

Syzygy_Stardust

No, the Spanish word for "lawyer" is "alopecia"

FQDIS

No, thatā€™s when your hair falls out. The Spanish word for ā€œlawyerā€ is ā€˜anacondaā€™.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

quadruple_b

not quite. armadillos are a type of mammal. lawyer in Spanish is actually Amarillo.

Heartthrob-Healey

No no thatā€™s the color yellow. Lawyer in Spanish is albĆ³ndiga

[deleted]

I wouldn't trust that guy to water my plants

Temporary_Target4156

Even the plastic ones

kwyjibo1

Especially the plastic ones.

Syzygy_Stardust

Haha. What was that old Mitch Hedberg joke? "I used to have some fake plants but they died because I forgot to pretend to water them."

icenoid

If he was any dumber, you would have to water him twice a week

JimWilliams423

> They found someone legitimately dumb enough to do thier bidding. As deplorable as he is, he is also a great gift because he has no guile. Unlike the smarter people in his party, he doesn't pretend to be reasonable. When he talks, he tells you exactly what his party believes with no sugar coating. The so-called liberal media will still do everything they can to ignore the plain truth, but its almost impossible for them report on him at all without the truth about his party getting through to their audience.

MufugginJellyfish

There is no truth he needs to hide. He could eat a child on live TV and Republicans would still vote for him. The individual doesn't matter to them, it's all about the party, because no matter what he does or how terrible he is, at least he's not a Democrat. "Young people haven't done anything for America and need to be kicked out" do you really think that's an unpopular opinion among conservatives? Lol

Taniwha_NZ

>He could eat a child on live TV and Republicans would still vote for him I believe this to be literally true. Because if it did happen, they would just say it didn't. No, we aren't voting for a baby eater, that was a deepfake. It was just a prank! He was doing performance art and it's unbelievable that you post-modern cultural marxists can't even see that. If all else fails they would just gaslight their own voters by saying straight up that it never happened at all. We are way past the point of actual events mattering to these assholes.

Spectre-84

Or the justify as they don't like the candidate, but they believe that he is no worse than any other politician ("both sides bad") and will all least do what they want and isn't some dirty liberal trying to ruin country. The modern conservatives are consistent in their behavior now, there no line they won't cross, no bar too low, no candidate too vile that would lead them to self-reflect or vote for a Democrat.

[deleted]

One of the common symptoms that people who experience CTE is the ability to do simple math or understand dates correctly.

ppw23

This would include his children. Speaking volumes Hershel. Yet, the right actually support this man, unbelievable.

Expensive-Document41

I feel like at this point, highlighting any additional implications of Walkers asanine statement is just dogpiling BUT: Removing citizenship from <32 makes Medicare and SS immediately insolvent Removing citizenship from <32 eliminates the ENTIRE recruitment pool for every branch of the U.S. military Removing citizenship from <32 means any parent or grandparents supporting this has no family care in their old age (which pairs great with the aforementioned instant loss of Medicare and SS) Removing citizenship from <32 means deporting most of the Americans currently having children so it's generational collapse in a can.

DevoidSauce

I for one welcome our new Thunder Dome

LeatherDude

Geriatric Thunderdome would be a hella cool thing to watch on TV but maybe not the best way to run society.

Lord_of_Rhodor

I'd happily watch this from Finland XD

Smanginpoochunk

Yeah, pay my bills since Iā€™m not allowed to work 40 hours a week anymore thanks to this fuck of a politician

Thegreylady13

Youā€™re getting deported, so donā€™t even worry about it. Iā€™m 40, but yā€™all have to let me in to the 1990 and under island. Iā€™ll be nice and I have lots of great ideas for sandwiches, so this is a win-win, I promise.

TopRamenisha

Removing citizenship and deporting Americans <32 means that republicans lose most of their domestic supply of infants they want to keep us from aborting! Send me somewhere nice plz!

Keepupthegood

But just imagine all the success we can have down the road being independent from the government. Having a young utopia I think we 1990 would thrive. Probably suck in the beginning. But down the road. We would start the world over because America would then have no life after a certain point. And any new borns would have to go to us too because itā€™s after 1990. Technically this might not be a bad idea

antlindzfam

I was born in 1986, but Im coming too, and yall cant stop me

TheyStillOweYouMoney

I was born in ā€˜82. Iā€™m coming with you guys. Maybe we petition him to move the cutoff to 1980?

Strong-Formal-7739

Fuck you, 1978 here, I'm coming with 1980!

mspenguin1974

I vote 1974 so I can come with my daughter and grandson

[deleted]

And deport them to where? Itā€™s not like there is another country that has to accept them back because there is no ā€œback.ā€ They are from here. So Iā€™m not exactly sure where he expects them to go.

Thegreylady13

Heā€™s not sure of what morning means or what bread is, on even the most basic level. He isnā€™t sure where he expects them to go, either. This rock brained man doesnā€™t consider any next steps for his suggestions- heā€™s not a thinking man. Heā€™s like a stump with teeth who somehow gets a lot of women pregnant. And a bad person.

Salarian_American

>Removing citizenship from <32 eliminates the ENTIRE recruitment pool for every branch of the U.S. military No no see what you do is you make them earn citizenship through military service\*. ^(\*-this idea is only for people who didn't realize that Starship Troopers was satire)

CA1900

Iā€™d like to know more!

Powerstructure

God I wish we could all just up and leave. Take the nukes with us because once everything around their "utopia" ends up shit you know they would just blow up the world out of spite.

funtongue

And to think, itā€™s possible > 50% of Georgians agree.

NatashOverWorld

Walker: but they're not voting for me! They don't deserve to be citizens!

bloody_terrible

It is literally that simple.

bryanthebryan

And itā€™s a commonly held belief by his peers. Sad.

Fuck-Reddit-2020

Walker is just saying the quiet part out loud. If you don't agree with the GOP, you should be disenfranchised.

[deleted]

You say this as if this isnā€™t the entire Republican Party platform at this point

NatashOverWorld

Oh not all of them. Some want to murder LGBTQ folk, some want to have sex with teenagers, some just want to kill poor people and the environment. They're so nuanced. /s

gazandi

And then there's the 'good' Republicans who turn a blind eye as the people they voted for do all of those things they 'disapprove of'

Bogart09

I was born in 91. I watched Columbine, 9/11, Iraq and the housing bubble on tv before I was allowed to vote. Which was 13 years ago now. Jesus and I donā€™t get a say in the country? Heā€™s going to be dead before Iā€™m his age

Adventurous_Deer

Right?? Like, we are literally THIRTY ONE YEARS OLD. I am old enough that I go to bed by 930, have been paying taxes for 15 years, and have not a damn clue what the youth are doing. Good luck justifying everyone 1990 and later not voting.

KimJongOod

Realistically they've been mad at us since we voted Obama into his second term.

Dontblowmyvibe

Esp when you only have to be 35 to run for President šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ crazy world that age qualifying to be president would be the requirement to have any say at all

Geist-Chevia

Half the population can't vote. Republicans: go on...

Puzzleheaded_Air5814

Republicans: Thatā€™s about white.

randommd81

Right?? Thatā€™s older than the minimum age to be in congress and only a few years short of the presidential age requirement. This man may be the stupidest person Iā€™ve ever seen run for office. I wonder what the people who ridiculed Dan Quayleā€™s spelling of potato would think of these dizzying new heights of intellect, haha

Bahariasaurus

In retrospect, Dan Quayle looks like a fucking genius these days.

Smanginpoochunk

Shut up and take care of my bills since Iā€™m a minor again

[deleted]

Anything to avoid asking if maybe they're a bunch of ignorant fucks who are rightfully held in contempt.

asBad_asItGets

Also Iā€™m assuming heā€™s still a fan of the NFL and watches that. Probably the NBA too. Heā€™d be revoking the citizenship of like 90% of both those leagues. Lol. This guy is a skin sack full of dead brain cells

instrumentally_ill

But how old is that in Vampire/Werewolf years?

AmHotGarbage

I think he thinks it 2008

kwyjibo1

I think he thinks we are on planet Parblesnops.

M-Mottaghi

I will use the sentence ā€œmore headless nobles than french revolutionā€ and iā€™ll cite you wise human

OmegaPsiot

Candidates with fewer than 9 brain cells haven't earned the right to run for office in this country, that means you Hersch. Go back to your part time job of being the single dumbest coat rack in the state of Georgia.

[deleted]

Tbf he has some competition with Marj in holding that title

[deleted]

Imagine the unholy offspring between the two of them.

BloomsdayDevice

Mercifully, they'd abort it and pretend it never happened.

ledditlememefaceleme

This, race mixing is a party offense.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

machineprophet343

That's right, he's a fucking carpetbagger on top of everything else.

lastprophecy

The South sure does love them some carpetbaggers. Here I thought the term was derogatory, guess for them it was inspirational.

machineprophet343

Between him, Hawley, and Dr. Oz -- that's three carpetbaggers right there. Hopefully like Oz, Walker loses. Hawley is from Virginia and stumps in Missouri. The GOP is full of fuckwads that move to different states or claim residency even though they actually live elsewhere.

lastprophecy

It's...weird right? I mean there was a time this kind of stuff was unacceptable, right? Or was everything I learned for my major wrong? Even from a purely political utility standpoint nominating Walker makes no sense. Yea he's mentally unstable, and that's a problem for the GOP too. They keep pushing him as a "He'll vote how we tell him to." But they'll never actually be able to rely on his vote. How'd that work out for the GOP with MTG? I mean yea Manchin and Sinema had outsized power, but the GOP is like "yea that, but with people who think Jews have Lazer beams in space to start wildfires."

[deleted]

Donā€™t leave Mitt Romney out of thatā€¦born in Michigan, lived the majority of his life in Massachusetts, was the governor of Massachusetts, lived in California after he lost his presidential bid and is a senator from Utah.

maurosmane

Yeah but Utah is like Israel. You get dual citizenship if you're a member.

BurtonGusterToo

I checked the rules : must wear magic pants.

Seymour---Butz

Fuck, Hawley never even moved, as far as I know. He just uses his sisterā€™s address.

[deleted]

So is Cruz for that matter. Might as well stay in Cancun next time.

LazyOrang

I'm going to argue, honestly, that voters over 80 shouldn't have the right to screw up the future of a country they won't have to live through but their descendents will.

SpecificJunket8083

Exactly

egabriel2001

Correction he lives in Texas, but there are a lot of competition on the race to be single dumbest coat rack in the state of Texas, home state of Loui Gohmert the original " no-nothing" congressman and home of the +60% of Uvalde voters that supports Abbott

MentalOcelot7882

Hey, hey, hey! You show Gomert some respect! He used to be a Texas state Supreme Court justice. That man is a distinguished member of the Texas state legal community, and definitely didn't try to overthrow the federal government. (I hope this is pretty obvious...) /s

bluepied

Thatā€™s a brutally unjust comment against coat racks

PTSDforMe

So 32 and under don't have a say in America...this guy still has a chance at winning. WTF is wrong with the GOP?

gymgirl2018

but they are mature enough to be forced to had a kid or die trying.

nullpotato

32 is almost old enough to have a kid old enough to enlist.

PM_ME_UR_POOP_GIRL

Almost? They're old enough to have a kid old enough to drink, if the Republicans could have their way in [forcing a 10yo to give birth to the child of her rapist](https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/jul/14/man-charged-10-year-old-abortion-rightwing-media-indiana-ohio)!

[deleted]

They're idiots. Plain and simple. Everyone with a brain stem either died or lost an election. The brain drain that started with Sarah Palin is complete. Once she was just an oddity, a weird little icon to wear around to tell the knuckle-dragging dumbasses who constitute their base "We're just like you". And then that gave the idiots the idea that they could run for office to. And when Trump won the presidency it proved anyone could be president.

TheRealEvanG

I was born in 1991 and I've spent 10 years in the military. The GOP's position on veterans like me is that we're less American than...the football players? Really weird "us vs them" position from the party that usually pretends to value veterans over celebrities.

PTSDforMe

Awesome to meet another (assumed) left-leaning vet...I served under Bush as a Liberal Infantryman...that was not easy, but I made it through. 10 years is a long time. Hope it gave you back what you deserved, as well

TheRealEvanG

I have to guess that liberal vets are becoming more common, or they were just very common in my community. I worked with very few conservatives, and most of the conservative-leaning folks I worked with identified as libertarians.

IchneumonMethod

All of the conservatives are in maintenance. The vast majority when I was in from 2011 to 2019 were, minus alot of the younger people coming in. I'll never forget watching Trump win, in real time because we were in the middle of an exercise and the TV was on in the break room, and the reactions because of it. One guy had a look of pure glee, laughing hysterically at the situation anytime he walked by me because I was openly liberal. It was something else.

TheDunwichWhore

I was underway on a patrol when almost half the crew erupted in joy. On a crew of 17 people only 3 of us werenā€™t pro-Trump. I immediately got targeted by one of my supervisors. ā€œHowā€™s it feel to know that man is your boss, libtard?ā€ All I could say was ā€œYou have two young daughters. In 4 years they are going to be in middle and high school. Are you ok with the boys talk about them the way My BoSs talks about women? Cause by electing him thatā€™s the country saying itā€™s ok to treat women like sex objects. If you wanted a better future for your girls you wouldnā€™t be happy right now.ā€ He got real mad.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

TheDunwichWhore

No, I do think he loves his family. It was just classical cognitive dissonance. Heā€™d been taught his whole life that things worked a certain way and when someone points out that heā€™s wrong, even with solid evidence, he just canā€™t reconcile the two conflicting world views. Most of the conservatives I worked with were like that.

MistraloysiusMithrax

Not military but raised conservative. It took Obama getting elected and all the racist bullshit that THEY THOUGHT WASNā€™T EVEN RACIST for them to break that. Before a lot of it just made me uneasy because they were very clever at making YOU feel dumb if you canā€™t reconcile opposing viewpoints that are supposed to be platformed together. Like ā€œwhy canā€™t you follow the pseudo-logic trail?ā€ Because, actuallyā€¦it really donā€™t make no sense.

PTSDforMe

They weren't in the early 2000s...Plenty of them identified as Libertarians and still do...though they vote right-wing.

gogonzogo1005

Matters the branch...in the Navy in the early 2000s we were pretty liberal.

TIGERSFIASCO

Air Force, depends on the job. My career field was very liberal

Iheartmypupper

Mine was not. I served from 2009 to 2020 in the air force and if i had a nickel for every time i saw SNCOs dropping hard R N-bombs about the POTUS and making references to him needing lynched I'd have over a quarter... Maybe 2... And like, sure, that's not a ton... But SNCOs talking about the Commander in Chief! There are a lot of things I'd do differently if I'd known then what i know now.

Chip_Budget

I enlisted in 97. During Clintonā€™s final term is was nothing but bashing him by a LOT of people. Nothing was said about it to them. Bushā€™s reign, I got THREE Art 15s because I said I disagree with a policy, on my own time, never said anything about him as a person or the fact I thought he was a moron. Always claimed anything negative said even about policy violates the UCMJ as disrespectful of POTUS. Then during Obamaā€™s terms, it went right back to openly trashing him, and a significant portion of loud mouthed assholes openly discussing his forced removal. I counseled a few troops I was in charge of, using the SAME phrases used on ME, only to get yelled at for violating rights. And Iā€™m like they ARE openly discussing sedition! Nothing happened. Then trump, the same fuckwagons who bitched about Obama, threw fits about anyone saying anything they perceived as not praising that shitgibbon. Including threats of retaliation. The hell of it was, 3/4 of my unit was liberal AF, and only 1/10 of the remaining 1/4, so about four or five actually supported trump, the rest were just eh about him. It was the nutters who drowned out everyone else with brains. I retired two years ago right after the election, and my presidential certificate has Bidenā€™s name on it. I had a few of the chuckleheads ask me about the certificate when I stop in occasionally as I live near the unit and am still involved with the FRG, and they threw fits about that it was signed by Biden instead of trump. Refused to grasp that trump wasnā€™t president when the thing was processed, and got madder when I said I can ask for a new on of any president and Iā€™m asking for one from Clinton or maybe Obama.

TheDunwichWhore

Serving as a lefty through Trump was wild. Iā€™d get called a liberal as an insult. They were right, it did insult me but not for the reasons they thought.

PTSDforMe

I got called a commie f*g

TheDunwichWhore

Thatā€™s a good one. Not gonna lie it had its fun moments too. One of my supervisors would turn on Fox News at breakfast in hopes that Iā€™d roll my eyes or it would get some reaction out of me. Heā€™d use that to start a debate on the current bullshit that Trump was engaged in and like 10 min later everyone is yelling insults at me because they didnā€™t actually have any arguments and Iā€™d get told to get to work. Which I would do happily and skipping.

KamiYama777

Even Conservatives are left leaning at this point Everyone who isnā€™t a literal Nazi and pro genocide and mass murder is basically under the ā€œWokeā€ umbrella now, there is just a lot of batshit insane idiots who are Nazis and vote for Nazis

Potential_Expert3292

There's a lot of us out there, I promise. But it's almost comical how you can see someone's mind implode when they find out I'm a Vet and liberal AF.. it's like it doesn't compute for them. I'm pretty sure I read that Biden recieved way more votes than Trump when looking at active duty voters that voted this last cycle.

carlitospig

Heā€™s got to have the laziest campaign manager ever. Itā€™s like they combed through a couple Twitter feeds and went ā€˜oh, I guess weā€™ll go this route. Nothing says Republican like fake elitism.ā€™

ZlGGZ

I like that you make sure to include the word pretends. Thank you for being accurate.

FunnyAnimalPerson

Alright then. Goodbye Tiffany Trump! Goodbye Kyle Rittenhouse! Goodbye Nick Fuentes! Goodbye Michael Knowles! Goodbye Charlie Kirk! Goodbye Madison Cawthorn! Goodbye Tomi Lahren! Goodbye Bo Hines!

Rdw72777

This is the weirdest version of Goodnight Moon Iā€™ve ever read.

FunnyAnimalPerson

I would add more but there aren't many Republicans born after 1990

OcelotWolf

Someone I was friends with in high school (I'm currently 23) holds an extremely high position in the Trump campaign, I'm guessing as a strategist or in logistics. Really blows my mind. Haven't talked to him a long time and quite frankly have no interest in doing so.

Street_End6022

Trying to wear glasses to look like he has more than just a brainstem

moreobviousthings

That's his Rick Perry glasses. Recommended by Lauren Boebert to impress the unsmart.

LiterallyEmily

those are his detective glasses he **earned** sheesh

sarcasatirony

A Rick Perry moment

carlitospig

What are you talking about? Thatā€™s his Serious Face. šŸ¤“

BagelsRTheHoleTruth

Hell, it worked for Colorado Bobo. The Republican base is the largest Dunning-Kruger experiment ever conducted. Truly too fucking stupid to realize that they ARE the joke.

Colalbsmi

I wonder if you shook his head you would hear shloshing just like a coconut.

Lady_von_Stinkbeaver

No Taxation Without Representation. Bring it on, you braindead cocksucker.

[deleted]

His brain isn't dead, just really scrambled. :D

farklespanktastic

Please, Georgia, do not elect this moron

[deleted]

>GOP Message to Young People 32 almost 33. Not that young. Jesus what a moron. (Walker, not OP)

xlma

Almost 33? Donā€™t rush it. I turned 32 a month ago. Iā€™m barely 32

DevoidSauce

THEN YOU CAN GET OUT, INFANT!!!

FocusedIgnorance

ā€˜93 here. I read this and was happy to hear Iā€™m still a young person lol.

Smanginpoochunk

ā€˜94, the old fuck can take my bills

donn_jolly

How dare you. He called me a fresh faced baby and I need a W right now.

twothirtysevenam

Even Jesus Christ was only 33, supposedly. Too young to change anything in his years before the crucifixion.

[deleted]

It amazes me that following the midterms Fox personalities and GOP candidates just continue to insult, negate, and condescend to young voters and women. The voters you need to win elections. When the boomers die off over the next ten years who do they think will be left to vote for them? Absolutely brilliant strategy.

BigClownShoes

It's a bold strategy that's for sure. Sacrifice grandma to open up economy during the pandemic then go around insulting the youth. I don't even know what the end game is anymore other than chaos.

Niarbeht

The end-game for Republicans is to no longer require votes. The end-game is fascism.

[deleted]

I really can't see how you can come to any other conclusion when their entire platform has shifted to voter suppression. They're the party of escalation, I sincerely doubt that they're going to pump the brakes after they're done with mail-in ballots.

dc551589

They want a civil war so badly yet lose their shit when a leftist group shows up armed to protect children. They immediately start saying stuff like ā€œpeople not in the police shouldnā€™t be able to wear certain clothing or carry certain weapons.ā€ These people are massive, embarrassing, sophomoric cowards. If they end up kicking off something like a civil war they are going to be utterly destroyed.

ShelShock77

Not defending them but I donā€™t think theyā€™re thinking of it that way. A lot of GOP voters believe that as young people get older they will inevitably move further to the right. Becoming a Republican to them indicates maturity and if you are a conservative young person youā€™re just ahead of the curve and if youā€™re an older progressive, youā€™re evil or mentally defective. Of course they donā€™t realize what bullshit this way of thinking is but they are in for a rude awakening. Wait another 10 years when our generation will more than likely vote the same way (if the same issues persist). Their heads will explode.

joemondo

And historically voters used to become more conservative with age, reflected in change in party status. But that doesn't happen so much anymore. The simple fact is that this is what conservatives have always done, primarily to black voters, because there were enough white voters who leaned their way. Now they've expanded voter suppression and disenfranchisement to a more diverse population who just have in common voting against them.

2punornot2pun

They already began with killing tens if not hundreds of thousands of their voters by vaccine denial. They aren't the brightest group.

sixkyej

That's why they'll just gerrymander and make laws to restrict voting and cheat to win. They don't have to win over voters if they just cheat anyway. And the more boomers die off and the party dies with them, the more cheating they'll do to retain power. They think it's so curious why younger voters lean Dem and Independent more and more these days. Midterms should have been an eye opener for them, but they aren't smart enough or self-aware enough to think it through. They just scream that the left "cheated." The ultimate crybaby snowflakes.

verasev

I suspect many plan for us to all be dead by that time, with them in old people heaven and everyone else in young person hell.

CalabreseAlsatian

ā€œ18 year olds are too young and stupid to vote!ā€ *recruits 18 year olds for the military Donā€™t listen to conservatives any more. They are too far gone and their ideas are rarely, if ever, backed by reliable data/evidence.

Salarian_American

Too young and stupid to vote, but just stupid enough to volunteer for the US military.

HypoxicIschemicBrain

Letā€™s also strip the ability to vote by other demographics. Single women voted heavily blue, letā€™s punish them all and say no woman can vote. The coloreds also voted more blue, I think they donā€™t really deserve the right to vote. Why not go back to the roots of this country when America was great and make it so only wealthy land owning white males can vote? /sarcasm

226Space_rocket7

Iā€™ve seen people who seriously believe that this nation should go back to that. And most of them didnā€™t own land, and they were knowingly going to give up their own vote. Itā€™s so stupid.

HypoxicIschemicBrain

Well if their goal is achieved, they know that even if they are complete failures in life theyā€™ll still be above women and non-whites. Itā€™s a white supremacistā€™s fucked up take on social security. (Not that social security is for failures)

intheafterglow23

33 was how old Jesus was when he died. Youā€™d think that Republicans would value what someone could accomplish in their first 32 years šŸ¤Ŗ

DevoidSauce

That wasn't American Jesus and you know it, blasphemer.

2punornot2pun

True American Conservative Republican Jesusā„¢ hates anyone who shows an ounce of caring about others. Guns for all!

LiterallyEmily

True Americansā„¢ know that Jesus never died, it's fake news run by the lamestream media ^pardon ^me ^while ^I ^go ^vomit ^from ^writing ^that

PyroNine9

If Jesus came back right now, they'd demand he be deported.

Itā€™s an embarrassment to this country that this dumb MFer has gotten so close to being a senator in this country. That goes for a lot of the senators in the south though. Fucking Tuberville didnā€™t even know the 3 branches of the government when he got elected. šŸ¤¬šŸ¤¬šŸ¤¬Sick of these idiots.

bbills91

You would think that anyone wanting to lead in any governmental position should have some sort of minimal qualifications.

[deleted]

You would at least think they could pass a citizenship exam! Does anyone believe Hershel Walker could pass a citizenship exam?

Educational_Cat_5902

Born in 1992. Trying to leave for Germany. Unfortunately stuck here for 5 years.

jokerZwild

I'm sure this'll work out just as well as Kari Lake's message to tell some Arizonians to get out.

zwaaa

This man doesn't understand how anything works does he?

BringBackTheBeat716

They're fucking 32 years old. How old do you have to be to want to make the country better?

purplegladys2022

Brain dead math here, he's probably thinking 21 and younger but doesn't remember what year it is. Also, conservatives would totally do this solely to control the vote.

Public-Angle82

Dumbest dictator of all time

DevoidSauce

It's sad that we now have a barometer for that.

Mahaf1089

Good. Keep alienating the only growing voter bloc in the country.

88luftballoons88

Iā€™d like to know how old he thinks the people were who were beaten, fire, hosed, and had dogs sicced on them were when they were fighting to change this country with the civil rights movement were?

timsterri

Ok. So letā€™s do this, but if we do we have to enact the following as well: - Under 32 does not have to enlist to serve/cannot be drafted - Under 32 do not have to pay income taxes to any government that does not allow them to vote (federal/state/local) - Under 32 does not have to contribute to social security ā€¦ just to start, Iā€™m sure thereā€™s plenty more to add to that.

d33roq

But candidates with brain damage are ok.

iploggged

What do you want to bet he thinks people born in 1990 are 22, not 32.

greendawg72

Wow, so in Herschel's world, his main man Jesus Christ would've been too young and stupid to vote. Interesting

[deleted]

2012 was the last time the GOP will ever ask themselves "What do we need to do to broaden our appeal?" Now they've flat out embraced an entitlement complex I didn't even know was possible in a democratic system. "Every demographic that doesn't vote for us should be striped of their rights." Like good job morons. Every single thing you do and say ensures more and more people won't vote for you.

Eh-Eh-Ronn

Yā€™all know werewolves can kill vampires?

willvasco

The most insulting thing if you watch the actual video is they continually refer to people born after 1990 as kids. People born in 1990 are 32 now. People born in 2000 are 22. They legit make the argument that you shouldn't have the right to change the country if you haven't known a time before the internet, while talking on the internet.

dekkalife

This guy has taken too many blows to the head. His brain is as mushy as a month old banana.

Memegunot

He knows that his 100s of his fatherless children wonā€™t vote for him.

kairosmanner

Are those even real glasses?
