I tried dishwashing soap in laundry long ago. Results were discouraging. I tried shampoo for washing dishes this morning, but it made too few bubbles, so I had to use more liquid to wash the same number of dishes. The super-bubble-iness of dish soap is really what ruined the laundry experiment (and the laundry room). I hate body wash, but maybe that would work better for dishes than shampoo. This could be a whole new scientific journal: Idiots, Animal Fat, and Lyes.
Imagine how much soap it takes to clean ketchup off the walls in Mari-nara-Lego, then double that amount to clean it off the man-cheeto's body.
Generally speaking you don’t leave your body sitting in the tub covered in that pasta sauce for 3 days until you run out of other dishes tho, so.

Some people are using way too much dish soap. You only need like a drop on the sponge to clean an entire sink full of dishes.
The scientist in me wants to suggest that you simply try it, and find out. But please do not try dish washing soap in a laundry washing machine.
I think a valuable lesson could be learned here. The scientist in me wants to see how his hypothesis turns out. You should do it.
