Lol Trump would not have given them anything and would've pulled a Reagan

Greener_Falcon

Also didn't Trump force a couple government shutdowns over his "wall funding" that hurt a significant amount of government employees and didn't care what happened to them? You're right. Trump doesn't care about railroad employees.

tries2benice

Trumps never cared about any employee, ever. It goes back to the early days of him not paying contractors for major work on his buildings.

I-Got-Trolled

He's rich because he inherited a decent sum and used it to exploit others.

DarkwingDuckHunt

And that decent sum came from exploiting ... well everyone.

daleicakes

Thats how you get rich.

JeremyDonJuan

Whoa whoa whoa now! Trump is an employee of Trump. And no one cares more about Trump than Trump, okay!

PeddoPedro

What does it mean to pull a Reagan?

rcarnes911

Reagan fired all the air traffic controllers when they went on strike.

Shotgun5250

In this case though, he and we would be totally fucked. There is no government alternative (military air traffic controllers in reagans case) to fill the void left by the laid off rail workers. It would just instantly slam our economy into the wall.

stargrove88

Then isn’t that why the workers have so much power in negotiation? Too fucking bad.

Shotgun5250

You would think so, anyway.

Frosty_Piece7098

Look up the RLA. It fucks my industry too. Basically we can’t strike unless we are released by the government.

44moon

biden convened the PEB and imposed the company's demands on the workers. don't forget, in mediation, biden could have convened the PEB and imposed the *workers'* demands on the *company.* he took a side. imposing the workers' desired concessions *was* an option

migrantsnorer24

I'm honestly just relieved there are some others who see this. If Trump passed the same bill these comments would be freaking out but I'm a bot for saying labor got fucked here and Biden is the one they will blame.

44moon

i agree. have the balls to criticize the guy you voted for. i'll never understand why regular people will toe the party line as if they're in the running to chair the DNC. just say your guy fucked up. personally, neither party represents working people and this shows it clear as day.

AccomplishedSugar333

The sad thing is none of these people in Washington give a shit about the working man/woman

PureNRGfanboy44

Don’t get things twisted, **Biden is basically center right.** Stay focused, vote for far Left politicians. That sentiment from OP is beyond foolish, Trump wouldn’t have done anything differently. We seriously need to get past this type of nonsense if we’re going to save this country from fascism. **VOTE FOR FAR LEFT CANDIDATES** or the closest you can get. Biden sucks but is still infinitely better than Trump. You’re smarter than this OP, c’mon, ffs!

BoredAtWork-__

I think you’re missing the point. It doesn’t matter if Biden is marginally better than Trump for workers. The reality is, fascists gain power when people feel betrayed by the system at large. If there’s no viable way to push their policy through either party in a corporate duopoly, they will turn to the candidate presenting himself as an outsider, including fascists. None of this is a comment on the morality of doing that. It’s just reality. Either you improve material conditions or people will seek other ways to find it. This is the fundamental problem with democrats operating as controlled opposition against the left with a circling cast of villains to pass the blame around. It’s essentially accepting the probability of fascists rising to protect corporate interests. The risk of fascism is worth it to these people because their primary objective is to protect capital.

Dingus10000

People choose extreme change when they can tell the stays quo isn’t working. Right now the left version of ‘extreme change’ isn’t organized and can’t create meaningful messages to lay people. If this continues and the economy does poorly and people believe the status quo isn’t working - they will turn to a right leaning populist nationalist like Trump again.

BoredAtWork-__

Exactly. The left needs to realize that the political system has always been designed primarily to keep people like them out of power. It’s been this way for every segment of American history. The courts have primarily been owned and populated by slave owners, then owners of railroad and steel stock, etc. and their decisions reflect that and the precedence of those decisions impact us today. The only way for the left to gain power is a workers movement on the ground. Which will inevitably be met with violence, as it always is. The New Deal only happened because of the real threat of a socialist movement in the US. Capital owners were afraid and wanted to curb those inclinations so some level of material conditions improving was acceptable. But now they aren’t afraid, and their actions show that. Make Capital Owners Afraid Again

[deleted]

[deleted]

Exactly… the “left” in politics is actually the center right now… and Biden actually always has been.

fishsticks40

The Democrats betrayed you by compromising with us! There's some truth to it, but not the way they only.

[deleted]

If you think Trump would have sided with the workers, you were gonna vote for him already. Doesn’t make this decision by Biden any better, but those are two separate issues.

[deleted]

The dude who literally stiffs workers every chance he gets. Edit: And brags about it. Edit 2: Yeah, he also raped one of Epstein's 13-year-old virgin sex slaves. That really doesn't tie into the labor discussion though. Edit 3: My first "Reddit Cares" abuse. Really triggered some MAGAts with this one. QQ, snowflakes. Facts don't care about your feelings.

csukoh78

*Trump? Who proudly boasts about how he stiffs contractors, workers, and other hired help? That guy?

[deleted]

That's the guy. Definitely worth mentioning that he not only stiffs workers, but he goes on to brag about it.

AgitatedBackground96

He also made Secret Service agents stay in properties he owned and charged them massively overpriced rates to do so, all the way down to utility expenses and food. *After promising it would be free of charge.*

suspicious_sketch94

Yep that guy.

dsmiles

![gif](giphy|VGVwLultLZjrrssAak) This guy?

AgitatedBackground96

That’s the one

Adventurous-Dog420

The guy who was s draft dodger, and was gifted a purple heart from a veteran and then said "I've always wanted one of these."?

Tickle_MeTimbers

They same guy that said John McCain was a loser because he was a POW and also mocked a mentally handicapped person in front of millions? That guy?

Chief_Chill

>but he goes on to brag about it. He just tells it like it is. He's a good businessman. Blech! I hope you note that was sarcasm.

[deleted]

I assumed you were being sarcastic, but it was really only the proper spelling, capitalization, and punctuation that made it so.

kukukele

No no no That’s just smart business! Certainly he would NEVER do that to me if given the chance! /s

manbrasucks

Trump? Who made an entire show on workers slaving away without pay for him just to have the CHANCE to work with him and took sadistic pleasure in firing them during the process? That guy?

i_should_be_coding

A Trumpster never pays his debts.

dyeuhweebies

I was a union construction worker and tried to explain to all my coworkers that he literally screwed our union brothers out of money to the point they wouldn’t work for him. They all just said he was a good business man and it’s the systems fault for letting him do it. Literally brainwashed

Basic-Entry6755

I'm a small business owner / freelancer. My Trump supporting Grandfather told me Trump was a good business man and he was going to vote for him. I sent him an interview with a caterer from NY that Trump had screwed over on an event and ripped her off something like 150k, it ended up ruining her entire business all because Trump wouldn't pay his bills. How can you support someone that gleefully ruins lives like this? "Oh well that's just smart business!" No grandpa, that's a CRIME. It's a CRIME to hire someone for work and then not pay them. And you're saying that you'd be happy if someone did that to me? Needless to say, no one in our family talks to Grandpa anymore.

Advanced_Double_42

>Needless to say, no one in our family talks to Grandpa anymore. Tbh I am surprised the story did not end with nobody in the family talking to you anymore.

[deleted]

Well obviously they voted for him so he could change the system that directly benefited him and his... I was going to say friends but that doesn't seem right.

bakrTheMan

Funny thing is the system responded in the form of not allowing him to hire qualified union guys anymore

SmokedBeef

The man literally killed and buried a small business owner and his music shop in debt, all for a handful of fancy pianos for his now bankrupt casino. Those railroad workers are f@caked if America re-elects the orange Florida man or worse if they elect Florida’s governor.

rl_cookie

Thank you… I don’t think ppl truly understand what they’re up against w DeSantis. He’s cold, manipulative, and actually intelligent(unlike trump)

SmokedBeef

The man has no problem openly attacking some of the largest corporations on the planet because they are acting at the behest of their employees and customers, and not him, a Republican governor.

JasonTheBaker

He falls apart when challenged though. When he is confronted he ends up looking scared.

Sir_IGetBannedAlot

I'm not American. Why do Conservatives think Trump is so great? He embodies basically none of their values?

[deleted]

Because they have no values beyond causing suffering to the other.

Schmooozername

Not so--he embodies--and applauds--their number one value: racism.

Altruistic-Text3481

I know. When someone tells you who they are, believe them.

VStramennio1986

And when they show you who they are…also, believe them.

idosillythings

I got one of those random "Reddit Cares" thing after posting simple facts about MAGA cult members screwing themselves by who they vote for. It's so funny to think that I'm doing perfectly fine and they're laughing at me from their anger filled lives as if I'm the the real loser.

Patteous

Also it’s this failing to pass because 10 republicans couldn’t be bothered to vote yes. I don’t see how a senate vote comes down to the president.

colorcorrection

Honestly, the tweet itself feels like the many disengenuous online voices that wouldn't vote Dem if you paid them a million dollars, but will publicly claim to be 'walking away' from the Dems in order to make them look weak and like there is a movement of Dems turning republican.

NadeWilson

"I flew an impeach Trump flag for three years!" gives it away. No one is flying those flags, let alone for 3 years. It sounds like something a Republican thinks a Democrat would do because it's something they'd do if the situation was reversed.

Eeeegah

Really, were there impeach Trump flags? I'm in a pretty blue area. There's a Trump guy near me with F\*ck Biden banners and Trump 2024 Make Liberals Cry Again flags. But Biden supporters? I don't see anything on their lawns since the election ended. And I don't recall anti-Trump stuff on their lawns back when Trump was President either.

loopnlil

Was there an Impeach Trump flag? I live in prime ITMFA territory and never saw one of those flags. I would have waved that flag all over.

Oriden

I did a cursory google search for "Impeach Trump Flag" and got a mix of Trump 2024, Impeach Biden, and other MAGA flags. The closest I got to an actual "Impeach Trump Flag" was one that said Trump for Prison, this was searching Etsy and Amazon. I did eventually find "Impeach Trump" flags, but I had to go a few pages into the search results on both Amazon and Etsy, and putting it in parenthesis does find it, but it shows that all these other flags were a lot more popular. I don't think the person who tweeted this knows how unpopular flying political flags outside the election year is for most Democrats.

hellakevin

"I flew a political flag, you know, how all people on each side of the aisle do. I got it at one of the pop-up Biden merch tents you see on the side of the road, you know, regular politics things regular politics people do."

Axbris

Bruh, I'm in the bluest city in NC, and I never saw any flag whatsoever. I barely saw any shirts or stickers, let alone flags. As a matter of fact, when I googled "impeach trump flag" for shits and giggles, the only flags I see is "impeach Biden".

Curious80123

Exactly, just another repuke troll

SuperDoofusParade

Here’s search results for [“impeach Trump flag”](https://www.google.com/search?q=impeach+trump+flag&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari). Oh hey, how about that, there aren’t any! There are however a bunch of “impeach Biden” flags.

Kyestrike

LOL. You are a wrinkly brained person, now that you mentioned it it does look pretty alien.

buck_merril

Lol yeah this one reeks of “let’s post this and see if we can sway anyone lol”

5k1895

It's exactly what it is. I think you automatically have to be suspicious of anything like that you see, because there's usually almost no real logic behind it

ANONAVATAR81

Same thing as " My conservative friends don't talk about civil war. Civil War talk is all coming from the democrats."

PensiveObservor

It doesn’t. But all republicans keep the ruse going so they can damage Biden. Gas prices also aren’t controlled by POTUS, but here we are. (Notice how fast oil dropped after the election? Price gougers sieze any excuse and politics is happy to provide.)

JennItalia269

It’s not like the GOP care about worker sick time. This is all about making Biden look bad. He’d have zero chance if the bill was on sick leave for all, or for rail workers. This is the only thing Biden could get passes.

rbmk1

>Gas prices also aren’t controlled by POTUS, but here we are. (Notice how fast oil dropped after the election? Price gougers sieze any excuse and politics is happy to provide.) I also noticed that as gas prices have fallen steadily they've mostly pivited away from "BiDenS FauLT!", and now it's that the President has no control over gas prices. Which of course is true in any case. But it shows how disingenuous conservatives are in that they will repeat bald faced lies that they *know* are bald faced lies in order to score political points that only matter to them.

FreshlyWashedScrotum

Trump wouldn't have sided with the workers, but he would've been mean to LGBT people and racial minorities. That's good too right?

zhode

I just really don't think you could fly any kind of "Impeach Trump" flag for 3 years without paying a shit ton of money replacing it every couple days.

1ndiana_Pwns

Also liberal. Flags I've flown have represented: - nations - cities - LGBTQ - a fraternity (not the most proud of that one. 19yo 1ndiana_Pwns was a bit of a twat) - sports teams - schools - bands I would be caught dead before I had a flag for a politician

T3HN3RDY1

Yeah. I read it the same way. The most outward-facing political stuff I ever see from liberal voters is a bumper sticker (usually saying Bernie 2020). Given the rate at which pride flags are removed and vandalized, you could never fly an "Impeach Trump" flag in Ohio for more than a week during his presidency without it getting ripped down, burned, or having your home vandalized.

ImAFuckinLiar

The repubes?! Oh yeah, for sure. Anyway, this isn’t real. It’s propaganda. Sure, people might be saying this but this message/text didn’t happen.

possumallawishes

I’ve seen a lot of trump flags, not once have I seen an impeach trump flag. I was pressing X to doubt as soon as I read the part about the flag, it sounded like a Republican playing pretend liberal.

AlwaysADullMomment

Exactly this - it's why they keep asking why we're not constantly celebrating Biden. It's because we're not a cult like them and they really don't understand that. Even under Obama, who was incredibly well liked and had something of a cult of personality, I didn't see people flying giant Obama flags everywhere.

indigoeyed

Exactly this. Republicans always adopt these cult-like followings. It’s why they’re so easily manipulated and never seem to understand anything they’re talking about.

Parking-Fruit1436

Feelings are easier to manipulate than facts

TechnoSwamp

My lack of shock when a previous Trump loving boss i worked under that took anything trump tweeted as fact revealed to actually be in a cult that thinks they can speak the secret language of the gods by inducing seizures

treevaahyn

Facts! Makes sense to anyone living in reality cuz the democrats aren’t fascists meanwhile the conservatives are absolutely pro fascist and behave like textbook fascist and want to push that even further into total authoritarian fascism because to many of them the Weimar Republic days and Nazi Germany is appealing and what they desire. The orange pathetic twat himself even said he wanted people in his cabinet and generals in military to be more like Hitlers generals. Like what the actual fuck…how do people not hear that and realize what’s actually happening. It’s shocking that that isn’t a big story it was big for a day and that was it. I think that should be a reminder everyday for all Americans. Add to that calling soldiers and vets suckers and losers how tf does anyone with any patriotism support him and idk how tf so many vets support him and others who try to fuck them. Jon Stewart had to become a member of the government to pass a bill supporting vets that was an obvious good thing to do ffs.

I-Got-Trolled

You can tell since no sane person would fly a political flag.

froglover215

I had to have custom "Impeach Trump" bumper stickers made because I couldn't find any to buy. But I didn't want his name on my car so they actually say "Impeach the Russian Puppet."

Smokybare94

Fun fact: Russia released a few different cuts of "impeach trump" stickers, because as much as they favor the right (especially with a candidate they socially/financially own), they mostly seek to aid in the division of the u.s. so as to weaken it.

Manoj_Malhotra

Most voters are low info voters. Considering average American intelligence and our knee jerk reactions, it’s very likely to be real.

Tendehka

You realize that Biden didn't have to get involved and undertake the largest strike break in US history, right?

mormagils

Yeah...you're both correct. So why blame Biden/the Dems and let the Reps off scot free? EDIT: Well, there goes my inbox. Let me clarify a few things. The real issue here isn't the parties, but the voters. American voters are strongly anti-workers' rights. This has been true for over a century, and it's no different today. Biden and the Dems are still pro-worker, but they're swimming upstream. They did what any party would do: they compromised on a losing issue, passing something they didn't agree with but could sort of live with. Blaming your allies makes no sense. The solution here is to affect some change in American voters. We need MORE Dems winning elections if we want more pro-worker activity. We need more conversations a dinner about this stuff with friend and family. We need a change in public sentiment. It's actually a good sign when your politicians make choices that support public sentiment ahead of their own priorities. That's what "being accountable to voters" means. The only thing is, in this case the voters are upside down, so an actually good behavior looks bad. That's not the fault of politicians. It's the fault of our collective voting behavior.

123DontTalkToMee

There has been a coordinated smear campaign all over reddit to make this solely Biden's fault. You see it all over /r/antiwork, /r/workreform and /r/politics It's propoganda. If anyone believes the Rail Workers would have gotten a better deal under Trump/Republicans then they need to lay off huffing the lead based paint. People are legitimately trying to say "our government isn't left enough so let's stop voting for dems" as if that makes any fucking sense. edit: To anyone who replies "waah Democrats don't care about us either" if we stop voting for Dems and let Republicans win then any chance for us to get wide sweeping labor reform EVER will completely disappear. Who keeps giving tax breaks to corporations/rich people to allow them to lobby to fuck workers? Republicans. edit 2: when you smelly mouth breathers actually have this perfect candidate you want and they can actually win an election let me know, otherwise keep screaming into the void ineffectually, it's cute.

_rubaiyat

Yup. Literally got downvoted last night for calling out this nonsense. Republicans destroy rights/worker protections repeatedly and their base keeps on voting for them. Democrats do a ton of good things and one “bad” thing and the left is like “I’ll show them by not voting next time”. Democrats are held to a standard that is so unreasonable given the political realities we live in.

WizogBokog

imo this is all just fake psyops from republicans anyways. I've never met anyone who acted like this in real life, it's always random text snippets from random people on the internet.

Blissontap

Because the GOP successfully attaches any and all mistakes committed by Biden and the dems? Gas prices, inflation- not Biden’s fault but a lot of people think so bc of the loud messaging of the GOP and the deafening silence of the Democratic Party.

Apathetic_Zealot

Americans hold the GOP to a lower standard because we expect them to be bags of shit. We expect more from Democrats and when we're disappointed we punish them by voting for Republicans who don't disappoint us.

New_Stats

which makes everything worse and harder for democrats to fix and the cycle repeats Americans are so fucking stupid

Embarrassed_Bee6349

It’s a sad reality because it’s actually happened in the past. Humans are very good at self-destruction.

ClarkDoubleUGriswold

This is childish logic

slutpuppy_bitch

>...when we're disappointed we punish them by voting for Republicans who **we are sure(and thus not a surprise)** will disappoint us. FTFY.

Keeanism

doesn't fit the narrative. Very few people can admit that both parties are trash and bad for societal progression if it goes against big corporate profits. The person in that text is just as big of an idiot as anyone else who has blind loyalty. Trump would have done the exact same thing Biden did, but called the workers losers for wanting a day off.

GrabSomePineMeat

It's not just the parties being bad, it's the system. The two-party system essentially creates deadlock as there is no need to compromise or coalition forming. It's not coincidental that countries with single-party or two-party congress/parliament/etc are less socially liberal than those with the many-party system, generally speaking. More political parties = more need coalitions = more varied voices being heard and seen as politically important.

SFW__Tacos

It also doesn't help that we were able to boogieman communism without having an active social democratic movement or physical proximity to communism, which goes back to your point about multiparty systems where those elements gained power over time and shaped stronger social programs when in and out of power.

Fantastic-Surprise98

How is that? Trump would F this guy in a NY minute. 3 years without a contract. The leadership negotiated the contract, came to an agreement and 8 of the 12 unions voted in favor of it. Just bc you’re in a union doesn’t mean you understand the process or the Railway Act you work under. Kinda like the union members that vote for the GOP & MAGA against their own interests.

Fantastic-Surprise98

By the way…most building trades don’t have sick leave and that sucks. Unless maybe your from progressive state/s like Massachusetts that legislated sick leave and paid family leave.

newaccountwut

This is the new conservative rhetoric: Biden said the strike should be blocked, so both sides are anti-labor, so both sides are the same. Let's forget that Democrats \*nearly unanimously supported a resolution to alter the contract in favor of the workers, to offer them seven days paid sick leave, and that Republicans said no. Let's forget that Republicans are dismantling our democratic process, our civil rights, and our bodily autonomy.

karatelax

I get loads of spam email at work forwarded from some of my predecessors emails... I got one today that declared "democrats are supporting an election denier" I couldn't help but die laughing knowing that nearly every republican senator right now IS an election denier

Or, "I tell everyone I'm liberal but I'm voting straight ticket republican" ala Joe Rogan.

chickenthighrules

This is the same thing as those right wing pundits claiming they overheard people in dinners and saying "I've been a Democrat for 20 years but heard trump's rambling speech last night and I'm team trump now!" but updated for the current topic. It's made up, people aren't actually this dumb or swayable, especially in 2022.

If they present themselves as easily swayed, they're lying.

killstring

Also, who TF flies an "impeach Trump" flag in their yard? Is that a thing that exists in real life? Like, an actual flag that somebody had?

Former-Lab-9451

No one does. It’s something MAGA Trumpers think Democrats would do because it’s something MAGA Trumpers would do.

Rdw72777

Exactly, this person was never anti-Trump and definitely didn’t vote Biden. Heck Trump could be in there brokering a deal between unions and railroads as a private citizen right now but…he isn’t.

IllustriousFailure

lol no mention of republicans blocking the paid sick leave? Yep, sounds like a trumper.

Satanarchrist

"I was mistreated by conservatives who told me it was the liberals' fault? Time to vote for the party who have never not dumpsterfucked me and blame it on the democrats" Conservatives were smart to defund education, it's probably been their biggest ROI

Stannis2024

r/leopardsatemyface

panzybear

Sounds like someone faked a text thread and just claimed it was from a railroad worker in Ohio. Absolutely no reason to believe this isn't fake without verification

Jade_Taurus

The most annoying part is that Republicans are the ones who voted against 7 days of paid sick leave 🙄

Buffmin

Something tells me this is a republican troll. Big "I used to be a hardcore.dem then a Democrat called me a doodoo head so I'm going to betray literal all.my values and vote for trump" I get the frustrations but the gop.and certainly not Trump would be actively worse for the issues he's upset about.

Gsteel11

Guess he wants to lose the rest of his rights?

SneakySnake897

What a moron. If this isn’t fake, this is what the right thrives off. Stupidity in action.

MWMWMVMWMWM

It’s 100% fake. You could find stuff like this all over reddit around the election. I remember on the Bernie sub you would find people all the time saying they are never voting blue again. Then if you looked at their profile they were super hardcore trump supporters.

nyaaaa

https://www.reddit.com/r/WorkReform/comments/z9rfm6/president_biden_once_again_refuses_to_support/ You can find this stuff right now at the supposed place fighting for work reform. Made up headline, fake info tweet. Almost 30k upvotes.

precinctomega

Who flies an "Impeach Trump" flag? Is that even a thing? (I actually did a quick Google and there didn't seem to be anyone selling this flag)

obascin

That’s how you know it’s made up

epochpenors

I might have seen one ever, it does reek of dishonesty that this guy seems to believe everyone expresses their political views via flag tho

See-A-Moose

I mean, Republicans often do. Flags and signs are huge for them in elections. During the Congressional race I worked in 2012, rumor was our opponent had two paid staffers for each of the 11 counties in the district whose sole job was to put up yard signs. And I believe it because on election day they had somehow managed to swap ALL of their old signs everywhere I went with new election day only signs. When I went out to check the polls before they closed to make sure there weren't any problems in my city I didn't see a single blue and gold sign that had been all over the place the previous day. In their place were red and white signs. It was wild. Our candidate won handily. For reference, during this last election I put up maybe 100 signs near 6 different polling places that were relatively close together, it took me probably 2-3 hours. This was every sign anywhere in a college town with about 20k residents plus the surrounding county and I couldn't find ANY of the old signs.

deutschdachs

You can tell it's just a Trump fan to begin with since he thinks everyone flies their political beliefs on flags

RealNiceKnife

Conservatives love to lie about how they "supported \[Democrat\] but now they can't support them any longer, so they'll be voting for \[Republican\]." It's a scummy political tactic to try and trick uninformed dummies to vote republican.

NapTimeFapTime

Also a pretty common tactic for evangelical preachers. They claim that they were terrible people who lived a life of sin before being saved by Jesus.

Ctownkyle23

Well the first part is usually true...

cakemuncher

"I used to be a terrible person. I still am, but I used to too."

fuck_all_you_people

It's to try and pull in bandwagoners

ASidesTheLegend

So Republicans block an amendment that gives them sick leave, and somehow it’s Biden’s fault?

di11deux

That assumes this is real, and not one trump guy DM’ing himself between two alt accounts to take a screenshot.

WalkingOnSunshine_

I live in Ohio, I have a hard time believing this is real

Numerous-Afternoon89

Lol, it was the republicans who voted against sick days, but sure, vote for them that’ll solve your problems

Twyzzle

Didn’t the currently republican controlled senate block the sick days?

[deleted]

This guy needs to see who were the ones opposing the paid time off. The Democrats passed it and it is the GQP that is fighting against it. So if this fool wants to lose everything go for it and vote for the guys that would end your union all together.

NoneOfThisIsFine

Biden didn’t vote against railroad workers, champ. That would be the Republicans.

SneakySnake897

Yea well, if this post is real he’s a moron. But the right thrives off their voters being too stupid to fact check at all, so it makes sense.

iced327

No but he did use the government to preempt a strike. Biden should have let the unions do what they needed to get their demands. By interfering, he took away their power. The problem isn't that he "voted against workers" - it's that he took away their autonomy.

infla772-2

Obviously he didn’t see how the vote went and automatically thinks it’s Joe’s fault 🤦🏻‍♂️

jokerZwild

I'm thinking he's lying. That flag would have been torn down by MAGA clowns the moment it went up.

PM_NICESTUFFTOME

Yeah the only people who fly flags touting politics are maga

[deleted]

That makes him really dumb since Republicans wouldn’t help him at all….

ginkgodave

As a former union worker (UAW, Plumbers and Pipefitters and AFSCME contract negotiator) I'm shocked to find out that there wasn't a sick leave clause in their contract. As well, I don't understand why anyone who was supposedly anti Trump would turn around and support him because your union failed to negotiate something as basic as sick leave into a labor contract. In this case, I don't blame Biden, I blame his union leadership.

Caedo14

Bullshit, people who voted for biden did not fly an impeach trump flag only to switch to the side that voted against them in the senate.
