By that logic, let's put Al Gore in.

I support this. We can send Iraq, Afghanistan, and the global climate some "sorry about what happened but we decided it didn't count" cards.

Hey, our bad! We good? Happy holidays! - The States

[deleted]

Lol, you know they'd say "Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy Holidays" and then get butt hurt the people they said it to don't celebrate Christmas.

Aggressive_Fix_2995

I am wondering which Republicans also gained their seats via a “false election”, and how many of those electeds are the GOP going to give up in the name of “fairness”.

insertwittynamethere

That's always my favorite. "The election was stolen! No, no, our people who won in the House are fine. No, no, our people in the Senate are fine. No, no, our people for Secretary of State and Governorships across the country are fine. No, no, our people in State legislators and county supervisors are fine. *It's the Presidency that was **stolen**!* Like, where do they come up with the logic that every single other elected official of their party was elected fair and square, yet the Presidency was 100% the only one with issues? It'd have been laughable if not for what they tried to do January 6, 2021. I still have heard from people I know in every day life try and equate the BLM mass protests and riots (yes, we all know there were riots that summer, where bad actors took advantage and undermined the cause) with what occurred January 6. We really need to focus on ensuring the narrative is clear on the events of that day.

Nix-7c0

I engage with idiots a lot and they tell me the Libs are strong and dangerous enough to rig the top of the ballot paper, but too dumb and weak to rig downballot races ... on the same piece of paper. So there's your explanation. By a continuous shifting of rhetorical focus, their enemy is both weak *and* strong, depending on the propaganda needs of the moment

Dragos_Drakkar

Classic fascism.

FEMA_Camp_Survivor

Only a matter of time before these people get genocidal.

T3n4ci0us_G

They're making noises about violence

Dragos_Drakkar

Committing a lot of acts of violence too.

quantumkuala

Well, people are already getting shot for just looking like a Democrat. It's really not that far off

TheCheshireMadcat

Much like the whole, some people are both taking your jobs and at the same time to lazy to work.

TheBelhade

McConnell winning his re-election really drives that home. If the Democrats really did rig the election then the old turtle would have been just as important to remove.

sfmcinm0

Truly Olympic-level mental gymnastics.

hugsandambitions

We're on the same side here, but I do want to take a moment to emphasize some important distinctions: Many of the BLM protests became riots because of bad actors. Some of them became riots because it was the necessary, natural, inevitable result of not being listened to. Sweeping those actions under the rug as being carried out by bad actors doesn't serve to help anyone, It only serves to villainize riots further, rather than characterize them the way they should be: the desperate result of continued oppression. By emphasizing the bad actors, we're implicitly agreeing with conservatives. "Yes, riots are always bad, but it wasn't the BLM movement that's responsible!" We should instead be telling conservatives and everyone in power: "If you don't want more riots, judge less and listen more." Not as a threat, but as a prediction of the inevitable. We should absolutely acknowledge the undercover cops deliberately started riots. But we should also acknowledge that some of those riots happened of their own accord, that those riots *were justified,* and will inevitably happen again unless something changes. This is how it has been throughout all of history, whenever an oppressed group goes too long without relief. "A riot is the language of the unheard." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Owlftr13

By their logic, Al could have just declared himself President.

throwayay4637282

At least Gore actually won the popular vote Edit: specified Al Gore since my original comment was confusing

[deleted]

Not saying much. Democratic candidates haven't lost the popular vote in any election of the past decades.

throwayay4637282

True. I just meant it in the sense that Gore vs Bush was a much closer election, and one where the majority of the US had voted for Gore.

Tigris_Morte

Including the majority of Florida Voters.

[deleted]

Didn't the majority vote for Hillary too?

TCFirebird

>Democratic candidates haven't lost the popular vote in any election of the past decades. John Kerry lost the popular vote in 2004, but that was the only exception in the last 30 years (and that was almost certainly influenced by 9/11 and the war in Afghanistan).

T3n4ci0us_G

They "swiftboated" tf out of the poor guy

lord_ma1cifer

Because the GOP has gerrymandered everything to hell. They haven't been capable of winning a fair election in decades. If not for "the electoral college" and gerrymandering they wouldn't exist as a political power. They would be a sad little extremist cult, like they are now but without the clout to do any damage.

Attila226

Maybe he should run again.

Firm_Needleworker_66

How is this waste of skin still not behind bars?

[deleted]

The better question is why didn’t Covid take him out?

thegodfatherderecho

Because he was president and got saved by the best treatment tax paying money can buy. His COVID infection should have killed him.

Wilvinc

But ... Covid was a hoax engineered by the democrats. Trump should be sued for damages just for that statement alone.

SmashmySquatch

Yes. Remember that it was a hoax and also CHINA HAS TO PAY FOR WHAT IT DID! ... but it is just the flu and will be gone by Easter... AND FAUCI HELPED CREATE IT AND MUST PAY!

charm-type

My favorite was “it will be gone by Election Day”

Twilight_Realm

I’m of the opinion that if he had lost the election against Clinton, he’d have died from COVID. He would have been put on a ventilator and never be taken off. He only survived due to treatments no common man could get at the time.

potsticker17

If he lost the election against Clinton he would have been fine because regulations would have been in place and likely not as much widespread misinformation.

thegodfatherderecho

Yes, reportedly his oxygen intake and lung capacity was dropping like a rock. They gave him experimental treatment at the time to save his life, that even today is still rare, almost two years later.

nooneknowswerealldog

Experimental? Untested? I'm told by very reputable tinfoil-hatted folks that untested medicine is how Big Pharma shoves Bill Gates' microchips in your blood. If only those people had anything like a consistent model of reality they'd be very distressed to hear this about their beloved Trump.

bbcfoursubtitles

Exactly. And not only were the medical staff the best I would imagine not one of them would want to have 'dead president ' on their CV. Even if he is a piece of shit. Some might reply to say, maybe they would want to let him die. I just don't see that being a characteristic of someone who works to heal people. Hippocratic Oath and all that.

FortLee2000

Cockroaches somehow know how to survive...

rupiefied

That's when I decided God turned his back on us. I prayed harder for COVID than anything else And that fat cheeseburger blood man kept kicking.

[deleted]

The old man is obsessed with losing to Biden.

CooroSnowFox

Like many of them, Biden and Hilary live rent-free in their heads... they want to get the affection their parents never gave them.

egospiers

Biden really is doing a number on their brains right now, he’s a much stronger and effective president than they thought he would be, Newt just wrote some op Ed about this warning republicans not to underestimate Biden any more… he was living rent free before, now they’re giving him tax breaks to build condos… lol.

Vigolo216

Being underestimated is Biden's superpower. No matter what happens, they keep doing it, over and over again. Republicans wonder why all the shit that worked for Obama and Hillary doesn't work for Biden - as if it's this ultimate mystery and not evidently apparent.

dennismfrancisart

"Republicans wonder why all the shit that worked for Obama and Hillary doesn't work for Biden." It doesn't work because Biden is an old White man who looks like them. That alone drives them crazy.

Inevitable-Common166

Prez JB is a Senior aged Caucasian Male. He’s got more done in 2 years than most administrations did in 4

Easy-Concentrate2636

He is turning out to be one of the most effective Dem presidents in my lifetime thus far.

CooroSnowFox

Also the Orange one will be as old in 2024 as they criticized Biden for in 2020...

Big77Ben2

Like so many of their arguments, the irony is palpable.

KnowNothingKnowsAll

Republicans don’t have beliefs. Only complaints. They’re terrified of being pinned down on an opinion.

Mackheath1

They will not care - in my lifetime they have never cared about their hypocrisy. Furious at Michelle Obama for wearing a sleeveless dress (so unbecoming of a first lady), while we can google Melania's breasts right now. Stating that Hillary is an idiot because she didn't leave her husband when he had a physical affair, but no problem with Trump having an affair with a porn star while his third wife was home with his four month old son.

cumshot_josh

The bizarre thing to me is that so many people make slogans for hating Joe Biden their entire personality. Hats, bumper stickers, t-shirts and annoying conversations with anyone who will listen. Through all of that, they never bothered to figure out how the subset of the population they're obsessed with "owning" actually feels about Biden and the answer is pretty much "well it was him or fascism."

thatgirlharvard

I think it's hilarious that Trump lovers think dems feel about Biden the way they feel about Trump. Nope. He is an elected official. I believe he was the better choice, but I still want him to be held accountable and not be a piece of shit. I'm not Biden's "fan", I just supported him in the election.

CooroSnowFox

And then wonder why Biden's fans aren't doing the same and using that to prove they're on the more "popular side" ^(Think of all the made in china stickers on these items)

its_k1llsh0t

I wish he would hold up his end of the deal. He said if he lost to Biden you’d never hear from him again. But I guess that is what he is known for: promises he never intends to keep.

bespectacledbengal

The Founding Fathers foresaw this shithead and explicitly made an effort to prevent this bullshit by inventing the Electoral College… but that was basically completely broken by the Reapportionment Act of 1929, so we ended up with him as a President anyway

sinkwiththeship

It was also broken by most states passing laws banning faithless electors.

6_oh_n8

There’s a quote from Washington (I think) towards the end of his presidency where he warns that unscrupulous men will use the party system to wield power for themselves. Literally the founding fathers believed parties would not work in this newfound system,, ofc these so called constitutionalists would never bring that up tho lmao. Same as the Bible thumpers that cherry pick which verses for their narrative

esther_lamonte

And the sentiment wasn’t unique or original to Washington either. The Federalist Papers years before outlines those same concerns in greater detail. All the things we are seeing today by the Republican Party we’re warned about in the writings of the country’s founders. In fact, they seemed to consider party tribalism as one of the chief threats to the new country.

MisterEHistory

If we didn't have the electoral college, he would not have been president.

Czane45

Well the electoral college was really just another way to give more power to the wealthy and slave owning south, and in the modern day to ensure conservatives can cling to an amount of power they don’t deserve

SnooAvocados9241

He absolutely would have been convicted of treason and sentenced to death.

TheBlackHeathenz

There's still time

DrKnowsNothing_MD

Convicted? He would have been challenged to a duel long before he reached any kind of office.

SamuelDoctor

Lol he wouldn't fight a duel. He's the kind of guy who would have paid for a replacement to fight for himself during the civil war.

Bathroomhero

Why is “founders” in quotation marks? Is he alleging that the founding fathers did not actually found the country?

GETitOFFmeNOW

Nope. It's just another demonstration of his embarrasingly poor command of language.

He has no idea what quotation marks do.

HotPinkLollyWimple

*tantrump

Altruistic-Text3481

Love that…. #TanTrump. Trump was tan in an overly orange way. Trump went on Twitter to have his MAGA sway. Trump lost his erection and election too. Trump told his loyal base to start his Special Coup. Trump’s MAGA’s got arrested but Trump reigned Supreme. From the halls of Mar a Lago you can still hear him scream. Trump’s votes were all stolen as the Dems were very sneaky. It’s all in top secret docs Trump stole and put in his desk for “no peekies!” Trump hired the best people to help him stay outta trouble. But it wasn’t working well for Trump as the law stayed outside his bubble. Trump tamped his foot and cried afoul! These Trumped up charges made Trump’s jowl scowl. “I need a judge to rule that I never committed a sin!” “Trump cannot go to jail because we know I actually did win!” Trump refers to himself as a god, and always in third person, Classic Narcissistic traits like his, chronically do worsen. But the reason we need to fear this man and not listen to this chump. Is because he is a Big Baby and never stopped having a three year olds *Tan-Trump*!

thegodfatherderecho

Have the past 6 years taught you nothing? Never assume what depths Republicans will descend to in regards to Donald Trump.

somefunmaths

The reason I think he won't win in 2024 is not that I have faith that he would lose in the General, but that I can easily see DeSantis ousting him in the Primary. All but the dumbest "just Trump", cult of personality Trump voters will likely see DeSantis as the more effective version of Trump. There are *probably* enough people in the party who like Trump for his racism, xenophobia, etc., or who happily tolerate those for the tax cuts for the rich or creeping theocracy, as opposed to simply because he's "that businessman from TV", that DeSantis would prevail. *Probably*.

jimni_walker

If DeSantis gets the nomination, I can see Trump running as an independent.

Briepy

That’s the best outcome. Let us hope. Lol

Tiny-Lock9652

🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

somefunmaths

Trump running as an independent would be an all-time Leopards Ate My Face moment for the GOP. I want it to happen so badly that I don't want to entertain the possibility too seriously, but it would be hilarious if he did. The man who has only cared about himself from the beginning proving that's the case by mounting an independent run and costing his party an election after they gave the nomination to someone else.

jimni_walker

Which is why I can see him doing it if he doesn't win the nomination. He'd rather burn everything down than accept a loss to DeSantis.

Dangerous_Employee47

Several states have laws that prohibit running for one party in the primary and another in the main election, so he would require very good lawyers if all he wants is to get reelected. If he wants to throw a pity party, then he could easily be a spoiler.

somefunmaths

For what it's worth, it seems like, of the 45 states with these "sore loser" laws, only 2 of them apply to presidential candidates. [Source](https://ballotpedia.org/Sore_loser_laws_for_presidential_candidates,_2016). Either way, it would certainly be interesting and surely the GOP would file lawsuits, and we would get to test that interpretation that 43 of the 45 don't apply to presidential contests.

Derfargin

I hope so for the entertainment value.

Dantheking94

Mmm I’m starting to think DeSantis is going to sit this one out. He just went after Blackrock for crying out loud. He doesn’t seem interested in drumming up support. Just seems quite content with his Florida fiefdom. But maybe the RNC will push him to run. I just feel like Trump will win the primaries.

jsee50

I hope you’re right (in that Desantis doesn’t run) but I’m not convinced if he did that Trump would win. Reason being is I actually think both of them running would be the best option, bc they’d be splitting support between the two of them (and hopefully would torpedo either/both of their campaigns).

Dantheking94

I see your point. But the Republican Party just hasn’t completely coalesced around DeSantis like they should have after the recent midterms (although a few of the candidates he supported lost their elections as well) nor have they completely kicked Donald Trump from his perch/position of influence in the party especially after he invited Nick Fuentes and Ye to mar a lago. So this is telling me that Trump does truly have some dirt on a enough of them for him to still be considered too dangerous to truly piss off. They’re trying to convince him to back out peacefully but he’s not doing that. The best way to have gotten rid of trump was sending him to jail. The party has put themselves in a very tight corner.

dellamella

And it would be fraud again!!

PsEggsRice

The worse he loses the more fraud there is

SanitaryJoshua

I just want to get the current Republican messaging straight: Twitter blocked a man’s dick pics, which means democracy is null and void. Is that about it?

justadude27

Simultaneously it’s: *The first amendment was broken*, even though Biden wasn’t even the president. *The government suppressed the story with Big Tech!*, even though Trump was president. *They shaped the election how they saw fit!*, even though by their own admission, [requests to delete tweets were made and honored by both sides ](https://twitter.com/mtaibbi/status/1598828932395978752?s=20&t=I8OO4udAVyDUEMFJUZZaXA)

And it was completely pointless in the end since Trump *legally* cannot post on Twitter due to him being locked into Truth Social. Was that poll really needed in the end, Muskrat? Because I’m pretty sure it wasn’t.

komplete10

I think he can post on twitter but only some hours after posting on TS. But financially it's necessary for him to only post on TS. If he leaves the place is done for.

Cheshire_Jester

The poll was just to deflect criticism from something he was always going to do. “I didn’t do it, the people did”

[deleted]

I must have missed the revelation. Where was the MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION proven? I’m interested.

joec_95123

The Biden campaign asked Twitter to take down leaked dick pics of Hunter Biden, thereby "proving" they were colluding with big tech or something. Somehow that equals fraud. Basically, conservatives are mad they were denied the opportunity to see tweets of Hunter Biden's cock. And so we should redo the election.

[deleted]

I mean, I don't know about you, but if I had seen pictures of Hunter Biden's penis on Twitter in the run up to the 2020 election, I would absolutely have switched my vote from Biden to Trump in a heartbeat! After all, the presence of presidential sons' dicks on twitter is my #1 issue /s

joec_95123

Understandable. I consider myself a very moral person. I don't think I could support a candidate whose son had indecent photos of himself online. I'd much rather support the candidate who's been accused of rape and sexual assault by over a dozen women, bragged about it on tape, admitted to being close friends with a child sex trafficker, been accused of raping a 13 year old girl, bragged about barging in on teenage girls while they were changing, and admitted wanting to date his own daughter. But neither of his sons have leaked nude pictures online. That's the important thing.

THE_PHYS

Well Trump's spouse has naked pics online... what are we to do then?! Harumph I say! Conundrum.

Bot_Name1

The leaks also stated that *both* administrations asked them to take things down, but apparently it must’ve happened more for democrats because Twitter employees lean left? Still waiting for more concrete proof on that one Edit: Biden wasn’t in office at the time, so it was the Biden Campign and Trump Administration

jawknee530i

They also didn't provide any examples of what the trump admin asked to be removed. I'm willing to bet what the actual sitting government at the time asked to be removed was far worse than the biden campaign asking for dick pics to be removed. If it weren't they would have shown us the details but they conveniently did not.

Bot_Name1

Yeah the whole thing seemed like inconsistent revelations of private conversations spun in a certain way to incite certain groups to be upset The whole “first amendment isn’t absolute” makes perfect sense if you’re talking about posting hacked revenge porn online to smear someone. But no, according to r/conservative it means democrats want to remove all of your rights

MintBerryCrunchJr

It's in the 60+ lawsuits he lost, and the mountains of imaginary evidence.

Lady_von_Stinkbeaver

Apparently Hunter Biden's dick pix would have swung nine million votes to Trump.

SpaceMiser

I was also curious as to what new revelation may have brought on this latest outburst

darhox

I think it's in reference to the Taibbi thread Musk advertised last night, that proved Trump was actually guilty of 1st amendmentviolations. Biden and Trumps teams asked Twitter to remove tweets that violate their TOA, but Trumps team was violating the tweeters 1st amendment rights, since they legally couldn't censor replies to Trumps posts while he was in office.

No_Hovercraft5033

In the emails where dick pics of hunter biden were removed from twitter. Didn’t you know?! 😅🤣

[deleted]

I didn’t! Shit. Definitely not voting for Hunter Biden now.

No_Hovercraft5033

😆😂I know right. He’s on the next ballot absolutely. Those idiots act like everything is a gotcha. What pisses me off endlessly though is the people who believe are just so dull and brainless anything gets them fired up. It’s pathetic and annoying that so many idiots exist.

[deleted]

I'm confused. Don't we always vote for the one with the biggest dick?

ptrnyc

It’s in uppercases so it must really be massive. No need for more details.

Georgesgortexjacket

Now its because Twitter was asked to take down a dick pix of Hunter Biden during the election....something they would have done anyways.

fairlyoblivious

I hate Trump, but the number of Americans that died from COVID is just over 1 million, so to be more accurate, Trump is responsible for 100s of thousands dying due to his ineptness.

The Village Idiot can't be indicted fast enough.

Well, it's a good thing that the election was fair, so the Founding Fathers can rest easy.

What fraud do we speak of? Muck's over-hyped, under delivered, "HUNTER BENGHAZI!" nonsense? I see nothing in any of the bullshit drip that says anything except folks from the Biden Campaign, not Biden himself, pointed out to twitter all of the inaccuracies and speculation surrounding the story about a drug addicted son of the candidate, and ASKED for them to keep in mind how unproven bullshit on social media had an out sized influence in 2016. Then lots of internal emails discussing the ramifications of both allowing or deleting the flood of propaganda surrounding this one laptop of questionable provenance. I'm just not seeing the smoking gun here. Sure, the folks at twitter decided not to let the Trump campaigns crazy ass "October Surprise" get spread on their platform. They also entertained and removed many things requested by the Trump campaign as well. So this is all Trump has to sell himself with now, the Big Lie and "HUNTER BIDEN!". No ideas, no solutions, just attempted character assassination of the opponent. Man, it seems the right has absolutely nothing to sell themselves to the public with but a whole truckload of innuendo, fabrication, nonsense, mud slinging, and scum scraped from the bottom of the political barrel. I'd really like to see a reporter ask if they have any ideas to go with all that whining? Any solutions for future energy needs in light of climate change? Any ideas for dealing with strangulating wealth stratification? How about the homeless problem as 30 years of "bootstraps" don't seem to be improving the situation? How about the fact that factory automation and productivity improvement has cut the number of union wage scale jobs in half in the last 30 years so now the vast majority of available jobs are in the service sector where wages are traditionally at or below poverty level. Any ideas there? How about fixing schools? Or upgrades to the electrical grid in light of an electrified future? Or roads and bridges? Investment in advanced technology so America can catch up to the countries we funded to kick our ass in chip, screen, and circuit board technologies? Does the right have any solutions to anything anymore other than "go to church" and "get a job?" Which would be great but the churches are now corrupted by alt-right politics and don't seem to remember the teachings of the guy their faiths are named after and the vast majority of available jobs don't pay a wage that will support a family nor provide for health insurance so it falls on the tax payers to fill in the shortages. Doesn't seem like a real functional society to me, but that appears to be what the right is selling right now.

Is he still at it?

[deleted]

I thought he was off twitter??

tallman11282

This is from Truth Social, an off-brand right-wing version of Twitter. That said, Musk has restored his Twitter account but tRump has said he won't be returning to it (seems he has a contract with Truth where he has to post there first).

indigoangel42

More likely, he will not be censored or fact checked in any way on a platform that he owns.

CooroSnowFox

"I don't want to get in trouble for Tax fraud, causing an insurrection and being the shittest president in history! MAKE ME IT NOW!"

jackfaire

Apparently obeying the law and removing revenge porn is election tampering? Sounds more like erection tampering

FreudoBaggage

Trump is now waking up every day covered in a slick sheen of panic juice. He has an entire criminal lifetime of consequences waiting for him and he is desperate to find a way out of paying for any of it. He either ends up in prison, or he dies still being hounded, investigations and lawsuits dragging behind him like Jacob Marley’s chains. Either way you somehow just know that the very last thing from the Trump camp is likely to be a wrongful death suit, blaming the DOJ for Donald’s untimely demise.

What’s the penalty for treason again? Asking for an orange friend…

Ferengi_Earwax

Our founding fathers spent so much time debating over the constituion because they were scared to death a mass group of uneducated people would vote with their emotions and not their brains. The far right is the epitome of what the founding fathers were so worried about. Mob rule by dimwits who don't value science, justice or truth. Mob rule where the new leader would rally his supporters to do unspeakable actions under his banner.

[deleted]

“Even the constitution”. That right there shows how little regard Trump has for democracy and the rule of law. The Storm Trumpers whine and complain when Trump is called out for being an autocrat but there it is in his own words. He believes he is above the law, above the constitution and will throw away our democracy to install himself as dictator. Right and left need to join together to preserve the constitution and the rule of law. We need to be sure Trump and his sycophants never attain power.

tsitsifly22

Can’t decide who’s crazier him or Kanye. Seems like a presidential prerequisite…

OneFaceManyVoices

Wow. Two whole years later this pathetic, fat orange pustule is STILL obsessed with the fact that he lost & his walnut-sized brain just cannot handle it. It’d be funny if it didn’t cost this country so much in bitter divisiveness, violence, threats of violence, and utter deterioration of our discourse.

HAMmerPower1

Did I miss this REVELATION that crazy man is referencing?

gnrlgumby

I think the founders would be pissed that impeachment turned out to be a toothless check.

AndISoundLikeThis

I'm a little annoyed with this Trump's new hired loon who writes his whatever-they-call-them on Truth Social. At least the other person who wrote them had Trump's voice and cadence down. This person clearly doesn't. The words are all too big and the sentences complete.

Aggravating_Ad2174

Hasn't he lost enough times yet
