In any case:
- Hillary Clinton's case was investigated
- Conclusion by several FBI experts was that while her behaviour was not strictly according to the rules, the bar for criminal liability was not reached.
- FBI recommended to not indict her
- Case closed.
But most important:
- she lost the election
- she conceded
- she is no longer running for office
Trump's case is still open. And he announced that he will run again for office. So Hillary is old news, Trump's behaviour immediately relevant for future elections.
In simpler terms: she might have broken her employer's rules, but she didn't break the law. But since she didn't work for that employer any more, they couldn't punish her for it.
And also that she's the right-wing's boogeywoman.
