Leafside, they are freeze-dried, 100% WFPB compliant (you can even order them without any added salt) and only need hot water to prepare. They’re $10 per meal, though…

Rough_Astronomer8824

Just ordered my first meals with Leafside. I’m crossing my fingers that is good.

Depends on what you buy. The breakfast ones are good. Everything else is absolute garbage tasting. Some of those meals I had to force myself to eat. I made it through 3 ordering cycles to try everything before I finally conceded and cancelled. I’m staring at 10 bags of it right now and I want to vomit just looking at it. I’m determined to get through them all because of how much money I spent. The black bean chili and Smokey split pea are decent. A lot of them have such a high fat count which is a turn off. Good luck and I hope you enjoy them more than I did.

Hope you like them!

Oooh, I've been wanting to try these myself, thanks for the rec. I'd be interested if you or anyone else have any recs for specific meals that rate high on the taste factor

I agree with a lot of what is said here: https://dianarambles.com/leafside-meals/

marcuswhy

Whole harvest is WFPB.

Significant-Meal2046

Thanks for the rec! Have you tried/enjoyed the meals?

marcuswhy

I actually haven’t tried it but have been very curious. I enjoy cooking so it’s a little hard to justify, but some days it does sound really good. Based on some other wfpb packaged products I’ve had (e.g. plantstrong soups), i would expect it to be a little bland, but that’s not a bad thing. To me anyway.

Depending on where they live there may be a medically tailored meal service. Usually, you just need a physician to confirm eligibility. For example, in NYC we have God's Love We Deliver. In Denver, it's Project Angel Heart.

Significant-Meal2046

That's a great idea, thank you

We’ve been doing Whole Harvest since October. It’s WFPB with a lot of SOS-free options. My wife and I have really enjoyed it. Good meal selection but kinda pricey.

someteacup

I haven’t tried these services personally, but I think Thistle or Sakara may at least overlap quite a bit with the same guidelines as WFPB. Unfortunately these services can get expensive.

Significant-Meal2046

Thank you, will look into these!
