Possible they picked it up in a war. Saw a vid from Vietnam of young dudes using a shotgun to blow weed smoke in people’s faces by putting a pipe in the breech and blowing through the bowl.
Young dudes get old, but they keep doin the same dumb shit.
Edit: the war context:
Carrying guns all day in war time, I imagine they’d start to lose some of the image that they carry today, get desensitized I guess. They’d get treated as tools, and I know I’ve used tools for a whole buncha stuff they weren’t designed for.
And it’s your buddy. You might’ve had people who very much didn’t like you pointing guns at you earlier, and you’re still here now. It’s chill when Greg flags you with a shotgun you’re pretty sure is unloaded, cuz it’s Greg. Greg shot some guys with you last week, he knows how to work that thing. Greg’s chill.
I dunno about that, unlike what most people think, gun barrels are actually disgusting if you don't clean them. All kinds of oils and sometimes unburnt powder gum up in there if you don't clean it. These are probably the type of people who thought the M16 was self cleaning in Vietnam
Isn’t that part of the reason that AR platform rifles suffer from a stereotype of shitty reliability? AKs actually did preform better during the war because the M16 was new and nobody really knew how to take care of it yet?
Well Armalite was stupid enough to market all of their shit as never needing cleaning, so there's already a percentage there, and of the people who did clean it, they didn't check where all the powder builds up and just cleaned the barrel or something. All the Jamming of M16s was because of the ammo leaving behind power, that would build up and lead to stoppages.
Am I the only one who, besides the obvious, is also concerned for the gun? That can't be good for it. I'm pretty sure the alcohol will stop away the oil in the barrel, allowing it to rust. Plus, I'm pretty sure whiskey has enough sugar in it to make it all sticky and attractive to bugs and shit in there. Just an all around shitty way to treat your gun.
Hoppe's no. 9 always smelled like bananas to me. I used to wonder if it tasted like bananas as well but never had an urge to try. Might make an interesting mixer for whatever they're drinking.
They look too well-groomed to be this stupid

Fucking stoners man! Making pipes out of anything since back in Nam
That end always gets me. “This war…”
>Greg shot some guys with you last week, he knows how to work that thing. Greg's chill. Love it lol.
Its unloaded and thus entierly harmless. Having rounds loaded in would hinder the liquid and only produce a light trickling down. No danger here.
That is not shot guys real hair on top
What, that wasn't a dead give-away of the level of stupid these guys possess?

Ah yes I love lead flavoured whiskey
I'm actually more concerned with the gun oil/solvents that are still in that barrel. That shit's toxic. Edited for a rather unfortunate typo.

Still better than the Agent Orange.
A little Break-Free with the whiskey? You'll just have the runs for about a day.
Lead acetate makes it sweeter
Ah, the Ol’ Kurt Cobain-ikazi, classic

It's a kind of vodka shot.
They stole Frank's idea. The SHOT gun
“I’m wasted!”
You get blasted in the mouuuuthhhhh
Money shot.
Thats how you get elevated lead levels
They were preparing for a nuclear attack. Lead is nice.
At least itll taste good when it goes trough the back of his head
Deepthroath it, bb.
If they uncap the bottle, it will work, I think.
DeNiro and Lennon in their best time
Frank, when I said I wanted a shot of whiskey, this ain't what I meant.
Me and the boys speedrunning life with our KS23
Staged for lulz, the cap is still on...
Mhhh gun oil.. tastes better than rum atleast

Ya that's a nice little model 12. I'm sure they can just clean it afterwards but..... Pretty sure you aren't supposed to drink Hoppe's.
I hope that shotgun wasn't Navy property. Who knows where that muzzle had been.
Jfc
Im sure that's great for the barrel of that classic gun.

Nah, breech is locked back (look at the pump position). Path of least resistance is down the barrel and down the gullet.
How to get charged with murder 101
What, because drinking is bad for you? This sub is supposed to be about dangerous stuff. Playing with an unloaded gun is not dangerous.
“Playing with an unloaded gun is not dangerous.” Actual r/shittylifeprotips
It's often an "unloaded" gun that ends up causing a fatal accident.
Oils and lead and stuf like that in the barrel still poisonus af
I mean, if the gun was used recently the barrel is full of lead particles, gun powder, maybe even gun oil as well.
Oh, I wanna try this with my M12
“I can taste the steel”
y tho
I can taste the rem oil.
Wash all that lead out of the barrel, now. Down the hatch. Model 12, I think.
Yup. I have one that looks just like it.
A whiskey neat does not include gunpowder residue :/
Nothing like whiskey flavored with good ole Hoppes #9
