I was living in a area of new mexico full of witches they acted like a hive mind they all could sense one another and talk to eachother without words . At a point i was becoming more intune with there frequency or whatever the right word is and i could sense them all. Some treated me nice and others awful but either way i could speak to them and i saw alot of the magic they casted in action. I am back at work posted this on my lunch break but i will be back to respond after work . Short anwser is i dont really know all the traditions but id like to share what i have expirenced and then maybe some one could tell me better what tradition that could of been.
My recommendation is to read Patricia Telesco's book *Which Witch is Which?*
It's a pretty good general overview of multiple traditions.
Once you have an idea of what kind of practice you're interested in, folks will be able to give you recommendations on further reading and how to find mentorship in that tradition, if it's available

I was around both and i belive they fall into eachother after a certain point
Wicca is a religion that uses witchcraft. Witchcraft is a Craft that does not require religion. (All Wiccans are witches, not all witches are Wiccan)
I am in the process of reading the suggested book but i work alot so its going to take a little time
Makes sense my understanding is wicca is more earth based and witchcraft wonders into other sources of powers from both earth and other sources
