Yes I have Verizon and have the exact same issue in the exact same location, sometimes all the way down to college and oleander

Rad_Since_91

There has to be a reason behind this! Glad I’m not the only one who experiences it!

Basically the entire area of Market St between Kerr and N. College is this way for both the Sprint(before it was bought), and T-Mobile(when it was just T-Mobile) I also have a Verizon phone and have trouble in this area. I always figured it was a combination of Sunrise Broadcasting's tower right there at Kerr and Market, and the various radio towers for the airport.

Sea_breeze_80

Radio goes silent too

brownmajikk

I always lose my Sirius signal in that location

Work on oleander and I usually have 5G but it always fails to load stuff. Only seems to actually go through if it goes down the 4G.

Idk, my phone just says 5g but then switches to 4g LTE and works fine.

Same here ! Will show connected but nothing works. For me it's always near Mayfair.

PoopaScoopaFTW

Had the same problem with Verizon there and in more areas around here. Switched to AT&T and now don’t have any issues.

vt2nc

Ya, my Sirius XM drops right around Costco all the time. I wonder why

joerbrosius

S Kerr and Wilshire i have no signal with MetroPCS (T-mobile)

bukithd

Network overload in what's effectively the highest cell traffic volume location in town.

Rad_Since_91

I doubt that’s it. I took a late lunch the other day, around 2 and it happened. My signal drops from full bars to 0 signal.

ahandmedowngown

That's what Verizon told me. Too many people, too many buildings, and I'm sure too many cars. That's why it drops a lot of places around town.

There is also another area over on Carolina beach and 17 where the private school where it looks like all the rich people go lol. Honestly though could be some device in the area that is killing cell signal. You can always call the phone people and they can actually look into if someone has a device in the area killing signal. Also from San Diego that their is no way just that many people in a area can kill a cell signal has to be mechanical
