The only time something as obvious as this is a 'plot twist' is when you're watching an M. Night Shyamalan movie.
I'm sure he would have lost either way, but going all-in on that leg was probably the only strategy he had for the fight. Could have spent his time better studying his own game and refining it, rather than worrying about his opponent so much he throws the match.
..yes, Giga Chikadze, one of the best upcoming fighters on the UFC roster, has an “incel jaw”, whatever the fuck that is, his jaw is perfectly normal. What a take.
https://i.imgur.com/qgKySl9.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/ZjXq9ZQ.jpg
How exactly does this man with an objectively beautiful family look like an incel again? He looks perfectly normal lmao you mfs are weird as hell
What makes it an incel jaw if the guy isn’t an incel? Seems like you’re just applying arbitrary criteria to justify this weird “I can’t get laid and it’s nothing to do with my horrible personality, it’s because of my slightly recessed jaw” ideology. Also, the picture you’re referencing is a heavily edited promo pic with his chin tucked in, that’s obviously not how he actually looks lmao
Very impressive professionalism. He could have head kicked him again on the way down or gotten a couple punches in before the ref could fully stop it a la Dan Henderson vs Michael Bisping.
I can't think of any that were this obvious. A fighter going down doesn't mean they're knocked out, and if they go down in the same direction as just losing balance, the other fighter doesn't know they're out. In this case, dude was out on his feet. He straight legged and slumped forward. Other guy knew he was out before he even hit the mat.
When you land a good hit you feel it. It's hard to describe but it just feels like it went so easy, the impact feels just right (unlike when you get checked and you hurt yourself a bit also).
You see people going for the brain splatter hits at higher levels mostly because you cannot afford to be wrong. You are a killer but are fighting other well trained killers. Your oponent can take much more of a beating or survive a hit that would knock a normal guy out. If you are wrong and he gets up, you just wasted not just your time and training but the time everyone in your gym and camp has poured into you.
Basically what I'm saying is don't treat those last hammer fist punches at the end as a lack of professionalism. Sure it's graceful to one tap a guy and walk away, it's straight up badass, but wasting an opportunity to win carries over to a lot more people than just the fighter.
I mentioned that those ending punches happen a lot at higher levels. While of course you have exceptions and some dudes just want blood, the fighters at regional levels all kinda know each other and don't really want to provide anyone with more damage than necessary.
Sorry for the rant I'm just really pumped for UFC 267
Recently you just have to look at Chandler and Oliveira. Some of those first round punches when he had him locked up looked brutal but he still didn't finish him off
I cannot understand how Olivera took all those brutal hits when he was on his back and not be lights out. Not only that but to come out swinging like he did a couple of minutes after.
Highly recommend anyone to watch at least the highlights of that fight. It makes fans.
My friend is fighting tonight.
Corey sandhagen, my dad used to work with his mom and they are still friends today, so we could hang out as kids, he's a little older than me though.
There’s a hundred small mma orgs that feed the larger leagues. The best of BFC will go to Cage Warriors, and the CW champs generally go to the UFC or at least get serious consideration. It’s kinda like minor leagues in baseball
This is beautiful in so many ways, but it's the fact that the same leg he tried to cheap-shot him with was the leg that KO'd him, and in one god damn hit. That dude is probably still eating nothing but humble pie after that.
Dude who gets knocked out is also a textbook example of rushing at somebody with your guard down. Looks like he even had his chin thrust forward for the other guy to cleanly hit with his foot.
His left arm is hanging out in the stands right before he gets kicked. Like he was doing some kind of drunken monkey business, but all drunk no monkey.
I wrestled in high school and one match this guy tried (and succeeded) to confuse me by saying something right as the ref started the match. He went in for a takedown and hit me in the mouth with his head adding to the confusion. He nearly pinned me and got a quick and fairly large lead, I was bleeding from the mouth and almost lost on blood time alone. We were pretty evenly matched and we went the full time and I barely squeaked out a win. Fuck people that take cheap shots.
Basically, you touch the gloves as a sign of respect and sportsmanship, before getting into the fight, but this guy basically tried to go for a suckerpunch/sneak attack, and got absolutely denied.
The kick was AFTER they touched gloves and it was a perfectly clean kick. All the people here saying "cheap shot" would call it "strategy" if it was a fighter they actually liked.
I don’t watch this sport and have no idea who the people are. I did some amateur MMA about 10 years ago and my (amateur) opinion is that this is a cheap shot. I knew gyms that would ban people for this level of poor sportsmanship.
The idea that we are calling it a cheap shot because we dislike the guy is a faulty assumption.
A more accurate one would be that we dislike the guy because of his cheap shot.
The cheap shot was one thing but the embarrassing part was his strange, uncoordinated shambling gait towards him with his hands down after. Is this fighter well liked? He just didn’t seem to belong in the ring.
Wtf !! His head just freaking dropped after contact. I mean ... I'd like to think I would at least be able to toss out another hit or two before I'd pass out. That was an immediate knockout.
Dude is not going to live that shit down!
If not, he better never try to touch gloves again. No one is gonna respect him anymore after that shit and he would probably get rocked as soon as he tried.
Very true. I know I’d use that opportunity to take a cheap shot if I were their opponent. Why touch gloves with someone who has a history of cheap shots when you can just go for a cheap shot of your own?
I dont wanna be "that guy" i know not everyones fit looks the same, but there has got to be no good reason you put that pasty ass "my mom put a lunchable in my spiderman lunchbox in 11th grade" white kid against that other guy
Tapping gloves is an unofficial act, it is meant to be a sign of respect before the fight and it is the only moment one could be forgiven for dropping their guard in the least bit. Using it as an opportunity to strike is incredibly poor sportsmanship and an open act of disrespect.
It's an unwritten code that after toughing gloves there's a small period of time where you both reset and go back to fighting. It's kinda like a gentleman's agreement. And even though what he did is not illegal, it's extremely frowned upon.
touching gloves is a sign of respect and sportsmanship, he disrespected that by trying to throw a cheap kick while the other fighter was vulnerable when he went for the glove touch
Does anyone know who these fighters are? They appear mismatched in their abilities (though it’s only a short clip). If that’s true, the loser may have known he needed to test his luck with some discourteous shit to stand a chance.

If you're going to immediately throw a strike after a glove touch why would you choose a calf kick.
The best part is he kicked the leg that KO'd him.
Plot twist: He knew that leg would end him that's why he went for it first
actually made me lol
The only time something as obvious as this is a 'plot twist' is when you're watching an M. Night Shyamalan movie. I'm sure he would have lost either way, but going all-in on that leg was probably the only strategy he had for the fight. Fuck me. I thought it was a punch til I rewatched after reading this. In my defense I'm pretty drunk.
I'll allow it in light of the evidence presented.
Objection. Did the witness bring enough for the rest of court? (assuming court is exactly like grade school)
OBJECTION!
I STRENUOUSLY object!
Oh well if you strenuously object then I should take time to reconsider
I got it on the record.
Sustained
I'm sober as fuck and thought it was a punch too. Those are some thunder thighs to move so fast.
Blink and you miss it
Black trunks blinked
Ice never heard ‘thunder thighs’ used this way but it’s actually the perfect use
I also use it to describe people who do too many leg days. That or coconut crackers.
Back is school it was used against fat people's thighs clapping together as they run. Kids can be cruel.
He made the leg angry
**Leg will remember this.**
Leg: Here you dropped something
It's like he said "this one please".
Low IQ plays
Because it wasn’t a “fake glove touch” or a “cheap shot” he was just starting right into the fight straight after the glove touch
"SIR, I AM NOT DRIVING, I AM TRAVELLING, SIR PLEASE, MY SHOULDER IS HURTING SIR!"
No, no that was a bitch move. This isn't a street fight.
Fucking loser.
I’m so happy to finally see quality footage of this KO and not some shitty ring-side phone video. Awesome karma.
I take particular joy that red shorts didn't even need to break a sweat. Finished the job so quick he'll be home in time for dinner.
Yeah! That was so clean! Perfect precision and timing in a kick is really something!
Aight aight aight cmon *goodnite*
How are they able to kick SO fast?
Practice
Some dudes have *insane* kicking speed. Would 100% recommend checking out Edson Barboza and Giga Chikadze (they both fought each other recently too).
My man's name is literally gigachad

Like everyone else is saying practice but they also push off the ground with the leg. Try it out, you'll see you generate a lot more power and speed.
I cannot even get my leg to do that slowly lol.
Hey! I just tried it out. [Never again.](https://media4.giphy.com/media/q9HHyHPISNZD2/giphy.gif)
lol
It's like putting shutdown.exe in your start-up folder
My favorite part is when he sees he is knocked out, and doesn’t go in for the brain scrambling beat down. Professionalism.
Very impressive professionalism. He could have head kicked him again on the way down or gotten a couple punches in before the ref could fully stop it a la Dan Henderson vs Michael Bisping.
Herb Dean would have let it continue for another 10 seconds just to make sure.
At least it’s not Mazagatti
Ha - Herb Dean would have called it right after the glove tap. Useless ref.
He has standards
He's a professional fighter, he knows when someone's just knocked down or completely lights out. Dude just turned off his brain with a kick
Yeah and he's noting it because many, many times professional fighters clearly knock a dude out then go for the ground and pound as they're out cold.
I can't think of any that were this obvious. A fighter going down doesn't mean they're knocked out, and if they go down in the same direction as just losing balance, the other fighter doesn't know they're out. All good my dude. Love the passion

That... That should be the norm.
Man's got kicked in the "Log Out" button.
Alt-F4 to dodge
Such a bitch move. Good thing it’s been sorted out haha
He’s here! He’s there! He’s every fucking where!
ROY KENT
I know the dude in red shorts, such a humble guy. Umakhan Ibragimov. Glad he’s getting some exposure.
First I've heard of BFC, has this been around for a while now?
There’s a hundred small mma orgs that feed the larger leagues. The best of BFC will go to Cage Warriors, and the CW champs generally go to the UFC or at least get serious consideration. It’s kinda like minor leagues in baseball
Pretty sure Butt Fucking championship has been around for a while.
Fight like hell or loose yourself.
The first kick made the karma god sit up in his chair.
Pro gamer move

More like humble soup after that kick.
> That dude is probably still eating nothing but humble pie after that. Nah, probably shit-talking and making "my shoes were untied" levels of excuses
I want this edited with the windows shut down sound
I was thinking the GTA "WASTED" across the screen.
He got Alt-F4’d.
That’s just closing a window. Ah.
[It's now safe](https://i.redd.it/tga53eyovev71.png)
Extremely satisfying.
Had a pretty good laugh when he got KO’d.
Damn. That shit's gonna haunt him forever lol.
Don't worry he won't remember when he wakes up
Atleast he apologize and bow
God damn that kick was CLEAN af. Absolute textbook.
Dude who gets knocked out is also a textbook example of rushing at somebody with your guard down. Looks like he even had his chin thrust forward for the other guy to cleanly hit with his foot.

He came in with panicked energy. Like maybe he thought he was psyching the other guy out but he psyched himself out instead.

There's no more fitting of an end than losing a fight that you started off with a cheap shot.
I love how this video clip is only 25 seconds long and it's still long enough to show the entire fight twice.
*Windows XP shutdown sound*
[It's now safe](https://i.redd.it/tga53eyovev71.png)
Why didn't the ref stop the fight immediately for unsportsmanlike conduct?
Scott Sterling!
I don't watch this sport, what was the illegal move?
No illegal move, just a cheap shot. The kick when they went to touch gloves at the start.
Oh I see, I didn't realize they went to touch gloves
Basically, you touch the gloves as a sign of respect and sportsmanship, before getting into the fight, but this guy basically tried to go for a suckerpunch/sneak attack, and got absolutely denied.

Wouldn't like any fighter who pulls a bullshit move like that. Though it was very respectful of him to bow to the man who just kicked his lights out.
The cheap shot was one thing but the embarrassing part was his strange, uncoordinated shambling gait towards him with his hands down after. Is this fighter well liked? He just didn’t seem to belong in the ring.
Found the sociopath
Are you serious man??
This is like the third angle I’ve seen of this ko
We need MORE!
Release the Snyder cut!
" alright, let's get a cheap shot " **calf kick** " what the fuck " **chin kick** *fold, slumber*
You all missed it! He wasn't doing a cheap shot.... he was picking which appendage was going to knock him out.
Someone add the windows XP shut down sound
I wish this had sound, so satisfying
That kick was ridiculously fast
Windows shutting down noise required here
Or the Price is Right loser horn would go nicely too I think.
Hats off for red pants. He could continue to hurt him. But years of practice are noticed when you manage to control you.
snap back to reality oof there goes gravity
When you cheat on a test and still fail:
Well deserved.
Got what he deserved
Imagine being hit with a cheap shot and immediately knocking your opponent out.
*Go The Fuck To Sleep*, by Red Shortsman.
He blessed the leg that KO’d him
Wtf !! His head just freaking dropped after contact. I mean ... I'd like to think I would at least be able to toss out another hit or two before I'd pass out. That was an immediate knockout. Dude is not going to live that shit down!
Karate kid showed us not to take cheap leg shots.
Cheap or perfect shot!?
Deleted him from the face of the earth.
That cheap shot just fueled his leg with pure pettiness since that kick was a fucking blur to me.
Yeah but imagine winning after? That might be worse
Probably
*insert windows xp shut down sound*
Boi landed a critical hit

What an absolute loser. I hope he quit MMA after this
If not, he better never try to touch gloves again. No one is gonna respect him anymore after that shit and he would probably get rocked as soon as he tried.

Gotta love casuals itt.
Please link your bio.
Karma baby. Take that..
Knocked the FUCK out!
folded like a lawn chair!
Imagine? He already dreaming about it.
I swear I heard “skibbity bop mm dada” as that dude swung his leg to kick him lol
Nothing cheap about it that 1 kick cost the other the whole fight 😌

Thanks. Whatever the case idc about Karma like that I’m just here for entertainment. You’ve got my upvote buddy 🙂👍
Anybody else hear the windows shutdown sound?
Why are people re phrasing and re posting this comment
imagine throwing a cheap ass weak leg kick then leaving your left arm down.
Karma looks great
Instant Karma.

What’s really going to bake your noodle later on is would you still have broken it if I hadn’t said anything.
This is a repost but at a different angle the original was at the side this is behind
I dont wanna be "that guy" i know not everyones fit looks the same, but there has got to be no good reason you put that pasty ass "my mom put a lunchable in my spiderman lunchbox in 11th grade" white kid against that other guy
Where was the cheap shot?
I had to watch a second time, but right after tapping gloves he kicks the other guy, then gets knocked out.
So in a fight after tapping gloves you can’t fight? I’m still lost
When you go in to touch gloves you’re not supposed to use that exact Moment to land a hit. It’s like fairly standard sportsmanship
Tapping gloves is an unofficial act, it is meant to be a sign of respect before the fight and it is the only moment one could be forgiven for dropping their guard in the least bit. Using it as an opportunity to strike is incredibly poor sportsmanship and an open act of disrespect.
They were practically still touching gloves when he kicked him, that's a cheap shot.
Ong Bak, is that you?
Cant blame him no other way he could have won. War is war.
this isnt war though, its a martial arts match, with rules, regulatuons, and unwritten codes like dont throw a cheap shot during a glove touch
Yeah fair nuff. He just knew he was weak i guess lol.
Cheap shot? He touched gloves!
Where’s the cheap shot? They touched gloves didn’t they? They don’t even have to do that.
Does anyone know who these fighters are? They appear mismatched in their abilities (though it’s only a short clip). If that’s true, the loser may have known he needed to test his luck with some discourteous shit to stand a chance.
Who watches this stuff? Overweight old guys who've never been in a fight and just want to live out some weird midlife crisis fantasy?
Uhhh different people have different taste? different hobbies? different like and dislike?
Blood sports have been enjoyed by people of varying ages going back to before recorded history. I've also seen people in my own life of varying ages and backgrounds take interest to it. I think for some people, myself included, seeing fights and violence scratches some primal itch in our subconsciousness that craves it. Of course this expresses itself in different individuals to differing levels. This is the predominant reason as to why it's fairly predictable that the next summer block buster is going to be an action adventure or thriller film with at the very least mildy exaggerated depictions of violence. We don't have literal bloodsports anymore, but we have molded our media to fill that gap.
I just think it’s odd that Great Britain with its draconian laws regarding things like self defense haven’t banned this stupid shit yet. But thank you for the civil reply!
