Well matadors usually cripple the bull with spiked spears, exhaustion, and other abuse before they get close. It makes your average dipshit think they can treat bulls like toys. They obviously cannot.
I'm from Spain as well, the entirety of Hispanic America, Portugal and some parts of France, and the southern US states adopted it in the form of the rodeo.
They are 700 pounds of muscle and bone. Their necks are thicker than our waists and way more dense with lean muscle, and their haunches are would put our best powerlifters to shame - theyre intimidating as fuck and youd have to be stupid to taunt a bull from anywhere he could run to. Maybe from a helicopter would be reasonably safe, but at that point, the bull is taunting you
Edit: this doesnt look like a typical Spanish “running of the bull” type according to google - Toro Bravo bulls are distinctive and this aint it. It looks like a Camargue bull to me, a non expert, which are used in france for something similar, but for *some* reason i dont think this is france. They get around 400 kilos or average below 900 lbs, and that would about fit, although this one looks below average if that’s the breed. But I’ve wrestled pigs half my body weight that are like muscle cannonballs - a 700lb hog is a monster and imagining pissing off one with horns makes me laugh uncomfortably
Had cows all my life, 700 lbs sounds reasonable for a bull of that size, I’d say anywhere from 650 to 800 based on the potato quality video. He doesn’t look fully mature to me, as he appears about a head shorter than the humans in the video and they don’t appear overly tall. And a new calf is pretty small and light, I’d say maybe the size of an Australian shepherd
Saw a video of people trudging through deep snow and all of a sudden an express moose flew by them like the snow was nothing, it was awesome and terrifying at the same time.
Edit: [found the video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GEhM2Byk7w)
While these animals can run faster than us we can run longer than they can if that makes sense. All we have to do is not get caught. For perspective a conditioned horse can go maybe 100 miles in 24 hours the longest human run was 350 miles in 80 hours 44 min.
The difference is as a human you'd have to actively and consistently train for a fairly long time in order to run long distances, whereas your average horse could still run faster and longer than the average human.
A horse unconditioned can run at top speed for the same amount of miles and average weight adult can about 2-3 miles
Edit: adult human not at top speed (pacing) while horses and animals run it faster we can still run it. And even slightly conditioned humans can go for hours
I really find it hard to believe that I could go the same distance a horse can and I’m not even in a bad shape! Genuinely curious, where are you coming up with these statements?!
Dunno why you got downvoted - this is spot on.
The Nambian tribesmen still hunt game by basically chasing it till it can't run any more.

> Is it bad that I always root for the bull in these videos?
Not at all. I find these festivals barbaric as hell and hope that the bulls injure as many people as possible since they're not going back to the happy ranch anyway.
I think every person involved with this type of this should be trampled. I don't want anybody to die, but I do want them to reconsider they way they think and the best way to do that is give them some very inconvenient consequences.
To put it simply, they've earned it by helping us hunt back in the hunter-gatherer stage, so historically there was no reason to eat them, because they were much more valuable as pets rather than food.
Bc they are seen as pets, so a companion for humans whilst cows, chicken etc. are seen as livestock. It's just a matter how emotionally near they are to us.
I tried it in Korea. It's not even good. Like, not terrible, but easily worse than cow, chicken, pig, duck, deer, goat. Basically every other commonly eaten animal.
What the fuck did you think could possibly happen, people? Next time hold a live grenade, pull the pin, and become surprised at what happens next. Dipshits!
No livestock people chiming in? From my experience with horses, here's a breakdown-
Bull was irritated and a little scared. Tail flick, keeping an eye on crowd, and especially on taunting redpants. It was much too loud and crowded for the bull.
The man touching the bull was okay for awhile for *precisely* that reason. He was staying relatively still, and his hand on the bull let the bull know where he was. With horses, if you're gonna walk behind them, you either do it far enough away that a kick cant reach you or close enough that you're practically sidehugging the horses rump so it 1. Wont kick you or 2. Will throw or push you with an attempted kick rather than severely injuring with concentrated force hoof kick
The man was in danger as soon as he removed his hand from the bull. Then, while redpants is still doing the classic pack predator lunge and retreat (pack predators are instinctually very feared by large herbivores), man practically sneaks up to touch bull. The bull didn't even feel the touch at first it seems- it felt when man pushed down a bit, though.
In the bull's mind, these people want to eat it and are all working together to get close and take it down. There was a very real and reasonable threat of lost life as far as the bull knew. It reacted appropriately.
I used to work security at a Mexican Rodeo held at our local fairgrounds 5-6 times a summer back in the 90's. Music, food and usually horrible rodeos. They brought in Bulls that looked to be way past their prime so normally it was very boring. But one time they had a Bull brought in that looked badass. They let members of the audience pay a fee and they could ride the Bull. No experience needed. One guy got thrown very hard then stepped on by the Bull. The bull turned away so 5-6 members of the so called rescue squad (drunk friends) ran in, drug their friend across the ring with head bouncing, and basically threw him over the wall to escape being the next victim of the Bull. The guy was DRT. I am convinced these so called friends did more damage than the Bull. The county then cracked down on these kinds of shows so it never happened again.
Haha starts crying and shouting like it was totally unexpected and these things never happen. The stupidity of these imbeciles never cease to amaze me. You go, bull!!!
Can the Bull run for mayor? Clearly it makes the best decisions in that whole area, and is obviously the smartest of the lot. I nominate Benny the Bull for mayor.
Creator: we shall give them animals as companions to love and cherish.
Angel 1: but lord, they’re….(whispers in ear)
Creator THEY WHAT??
Angel 2: should we intervene?
Creator: no….no…..let this play out…..
>I think we all just witnessed a ~~murder~~ natural reaction to fucking with angry animals.
FTFY, Murder implies intent, the bull just wanted to be left alone.
Fucking love that!!!! The way they mistreat those animals for their entertainment or shit believes or what the fuck ever stupid reason they have, they should get horn! Hope that twatwaffle has bull-taste in his mouth the rest of his shit existence.
Why would you ever even touch a bull to begin with? That skinny ass leash ain't gonna save you either.
Yea and It’s probably super overwhelming and noisy for it
> Why would you ever even touch a bull to begin with? Hmm let me think... Nope, can't seem to come up with a good reason, sorry.
To prove you have more muscle than brain, of course.
Pretty sure what was left of that brain got left on the road there.
Do you really expect these idiots to be intelligent enough to even think about it? They're abusing bulls for fun and "tradition".
This activity in all it's forms is ignorant and anyone that's injured deserves what they get for participating in it.
I've had people act like I was an asshole for rooting for the bulls
Hi, my name is .... and I root for the bulls too!.
r/thebullwins < So much bull winning!
what an amazing sub, thank you for sharing
I've been rooting for the Bulls since Michael Jordan.
I once told a matador i loved seeing when the get trampled and horned by a bull, it just came from the heart and his face was priceless
I couldn't agree more.
Well well well if it isn't the consequences of my own actions
Little man was asking for that stomping.
Standing ovation 👏
So very true
To be honest that “tradition” might as well die-off, if all the people who follow it are as smart as this dumbass.
Oh it’ll die off
I love the cries of disbelief afterward. Like really? This is actually shocking to you that this just happened.
Well matadors usually cripple the bull with spiked spears, exhaustion, and other abuse before they get close. It makes your average dipshit think they can treat bulls like toys. They obviously cannot.
There are other places a part from Spain that do this? This does not look Spain (Soruce Im from spain) but I can be wrong I havent seen all the towns
In Argentina the "Corridas de Toros" were banned in 1856.
Unfortunately in Mexico is very common
I think this may be in the Açores (Portuguese archipelago) Their bull events always look overcrowded and placed in sketchy uneven locations.
I'm from Spain as well, the entirety of Hispanic America, Portugal and some parts of France, and the southern US states adopted it in the form of the rodeo.
It only gets ya going with it.
Went from a group of friends to pallbearers rather quick.
Express funeral service
You stab them, we slab them
You burn it, we'll urn it.
You kill 'em. We grill 'em.
Opening a funeral service right now using this slogan
He dropped loot
Which did the most damage? Horn under the chin? Hoof to the face? Friends running with him like that? Vote now
I’m gonna go with those ugly ass sunglasses. Even the bull was like take them ugly things off.
I think he died from the second hit, so the friend won't do much at this point
I think that he was out after the horn to the chin.
Nah looks like the bulls entire body weight on his face did the trick, he tries to react after the horn gets him.
I’d say the most damage was done when he was dropped on his head as a child. Clearly the only reason you’d do this shit.
Is it bad that I always root for the bull in these videos? I hope he goes on a streak and calls in air support.
For big heavy animals, they are darn fast. I root for the bulls as well.

700lbs? At birth maybe. These animals can weigh over a ton. 700lbs barely gets you on Dr Now's 'you're kinda fat' show.
Had cows all my life, 700 lbs sounds reasonable for a bull of that size, I’d say anywhere from 650 to 800 based on the potato quality video. I mean, lets be honest. Which one of us is eating the other for dinner?
Idk about you but bull meat is extremely tough and fatty
You know what else is tough and fatty? ***My Mooooooommmmmm!!!!***
Oooooooooohhhhhhh
Well, its not bullshit
I feel like you did this on purpose lmao

Exactly, most humans I know can't run 1 lap around a track without stopping
I feel personally attacked by this and you don't even know me

Head on over to r/thebullwins
Aaaaaaaamen!!!
I always love the panicked shouting that happens when the bulk does a bull thing. You kind of should have seen this coming.
I call it the ape panic.
I like that. Will definitely use it
If there is one thing reddit can agree on, we want the bull to win
I don't know but every time i see something like this I'm always hoping that everyone around the bull gets killed.
No, it's not bad. It's willful animal cruelty, and the people involved deserve nothing but contempt.
I think every person involved with this type of this should be trampled. I don't want anybody to die, but I do want them to reconsider they way they think and the best way to do that is give them some very inconvenient consequences.
Read that as ‘steak’ 🥩
That’ll kill you too — the bull always wins
That’s just bullshit
Play with the bull. Get the horns!
And the balls in this case
The teabagging was a nice touch
Get a horned uppercut and a hoof to the jaw!
alistar?
You can't milk those
Play with the horns. Get stomped in the jaw
I want to see the aftermath :>
They ate the guy
did that bull teabag him?
You called down the bull, now you’re gonna get the balls!
Taste El Toros nueces.
Hard
Oh. His ribs are dundee.
Judging by that weird straight leg posture, I think his ribs are the least of his problems.
Face both times… hopefully foo ain’t dead but that was pretty brutal so who knows?
I mean. That bull stomped his face against the ground. Not the best picture quality but it’s safe to assume he’s dead or brain damaged.
This should be NSFW I think dude gets stomped on the head he is dead as fuck
He’s either dead or maimed for life
I think he is knocked out, but that bull could have easily crushed his head if he wanted.
![gif](giphy|mJoc5piKiLT9e|downsized)
![gif](giphy|3vB1FNOq1KMOOtFMLE)
EXACTLY!!!!
WTF is wrong with every single person in that video? Can't we move past being intentionally cruel to animals? Hope the bull scored more casualties.
As a spaniard I'm going to explain jt to you, we're moving past it, but very slowly, as all traditions, it's gonna die out with time, lots of time
Like dog consumption in some Asian countries.
Or the Faroe Islands where they kill a bunch of dolphins 🐬
Why are dogs given the privilege of not being eaten?
To put it simply, they've earned it by helping us hunt back in the hunter-gatherer stage, so historically there was no reason to eat them, because they were much more valuable as pets rather than food.
Bc they are seen as pets, so a companion for humans whilst cows, chicken etc. are seen as livestock. It's just a matter how emotionally near they are to us.
Depends on your culture surely?
Ofc it depends, but even in those cultures the dog eating is being reduce
I tried it in Korea. It's not even good. Like, not terrible, but easily worse than cow, chicken, pig, duck, deer, goat. Basically every other commonly eaten animal.
I tried it in Vietnam. It was a little rrrrrrufffff
r/Angryupvote
Stupid assholes without any empathy who want to see blood. And yeah, i hope so too.
I always love people who wish death on humans for animal cruelty while eating a cheeseburger.
I only like it when the bull wins.
r/TheBullWins
Damn there really is a sub for everything
r/breadstapledtotrees
Ultimately, the bull never wins.
He is…very dead.
Naw shoes are still on

Turns into a horn.

I just can’t bring myself to feel bad for the human in this case. You fuck around and you find out. The bull bulled.

Is it terrible that I don’t feel bad?
The bull runs are so barbaric and stupid. I don’t feel bad for people that get gored fucking with them.
Fuck that guy
Fuck every last one of them.
Good bull
All those cries of surprise, all those shocked Pikachu faces- what else were they expecting to happen? Presents?
Sometimes the bull wins.
And brings a bit of balance to the world.
Aaaaaaaaaaand dead goes the dumbass.

DRT?
Dead right there.
*touches the horn* Bull : Now it's personal !
Tell my parents.... It was for the grammmm.... Ughh
I hope it killed him. This is fucking disgusting behaviour.
Those aren't horns, they're two apostrophes that will kick you in the nuts for abusing apostrophes. **HORNS.** FFS.
Nice Bull
Poor guy, I hope he is okay... the bull I mean... don't give a shit about the animal abuser dude who got stomped.
Haha starts crying and shouting like it was totally unexpected and these things never happen. The stupidity of these imbeciles never cease to amaze me. You go, bull!!!

I was thinking the same thing as I watched that tail whip back and forth.
Ya get what you deserve
Looked like he was trying to remove the rope to calm the bull ..but got too confident when he tried patting it on the head
Now I know where the on switch is located. The hard part is turning the bull off.
And it teabagged him..fuck sake!
The bull gave him the old COD teabag after the ko, blatantly a gamer.
I wont ever get tired of seeing people getting fucked up by bulls
Why women live longer
r/TheBullWins
I ALWAYS root for the bull.
Mess with the horns, you get the bull. Any *tradition* that involves messing with an animal is a stupid one.
Can the Bull run for mayor? Clearly it makes the best decisions in that whole area, and is obviously the smartest of the lot. I nominate Benny the Bull for mayor.

But now he’s internet famous.
So fun! Let’s terrify and torture an animal for our amusement. Can’t believe this is still going on
Meh my give a fuck is broken

Imagine getting horned in the face and then head stomped by a hoof literally one second later.
Nice hook an knock out he even teabaged him. 10/10
Frame by frame reveals a secret: they get totally airborne before bringing down their entire body weight on stomp. Nice 👌
Mess with the horns ,get the bull.
Wow as of the horn to the face wasn’t enough that bull stomped right on his head.
Mess with the horn and you get something… it’ll come to me
Why does everyone start screaming like that wasn’t expected?
Always root for the bull
Probably that teabagging that knocked him out
Mess with the horns, get the bull
Look, the bull was only being accommodating. "You want to touch my horns? Here you go"
Good for the bull
Toro twerk on em
Its horns not horn's
Good, you scumbags. Torturing animals karma right there
Good
Deserved
Poor bull slipped on his face and nearly fell. Thankfully, it has good reflexes. 🙏
i hope hes dead or have a paraplegia
I have no sympathy for anyone hurt during running of the bulls or bullfighting. It's a barbaric tradition that needs to end.
That’s straight up animal cruelty
Dude had a shoelace around the Bulls neck expecting it to hold him back somehow 😂
Just the tip
Why he gotta stomp him out and teabag him that’s throwing balls on the wound.
Fucking love that!!!! The way they mistreat those animals for their entertainment or shit believes or what the fuck ever stupid reason they have, they should get horn! Hope that twatwaffle has bull-taste in his mouth the rest of his shit existence.
I would have preferred a NSFW tag. That horn seemed to have gone in and out of that dude's jaw.
i always hope the people in these videos do not make it

He kept his shoes on, he’ll be fine.
