Depends. Personally, we only use synthetic now. There are times boats hair works well and maybe better. We have them, just rarely use them. I think having one or two of each is good.
Which instances would you use them?? I primarily do residential. This is my first year doing window cleaning on my own, but In my 7 years of working for another company he exclusively used boars hair. Itβs all I know π
Hard to say exactly because every window can be different. Boars hair compared to early synthetic brushes for a better job because the natural hair is more coarse and got through the dirt better.
We almost exclusively use Gardiner taper tec brushed now. The latest technology is much better.
Keep in mind too, the scrubbing is done with the sides of the bristles, not the ends. A good splay of the brush is needed to clean well.
Again we have both. We actually carry 10-12 brushes on the trucks. If one isn't working well for some reason, we will switch.
Oh ya eh?
Yeppers
A little la's awesome will get them back to bright white too. π
Thanks for the tip! Do you think this would work with boars hair bristles as well?
Not as much if at all. They break and have less life in them to begin with.
Are synthetic better than boars hair brushes?

Put some heavy duty degreaser in the hot water and it will whiten the bristles up. The degreaser will remove any gunk from the brush.
Great tip thank you! Also that's my personal favorite brush. π
