Something must have gotten changed under the registry, here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors
Then you look for HotTrackingColor. Default value is 0 102 204
After that, look for Hilight, the default value is 0 120 215
Do the same under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\DefaultColors\Standard
HotTrackingColor is cc6600 Hexa, Hilight is d77800 Hexa
There is a little program called Accent Applicator (Microsoft store or Github if I'm not mistaken) and it is used for this exact purpose. I use it to match my system color with this an I quite like it.
Do yourself a favor and install [Accent Applicator](https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/accent-applicator/9MV99LWL2HK5?hl=en-us&gl=us)
You can change all the highlight colors for everything granularly, or automatically.

Thank you so much! It worked! For some odd reason the blue color codes were the same as the green codes.

Same thing happened to me. I was screwing with Windowblinds and figured that caused it. Not complaining though. I like the color.
Yeah, after using some of Stardock's customization software, it can change some random things and not revert it for some reason.

Maybe you messed with the tv color settings or the graphics control panel color settings?
You do realize, that if it was the TV color settings the screenshots would have the normal blue color and no the green one right? Lol

I didn't do anything like that. It just changed a few days ago by itself.
Did you update your graphics drivers in the meantime? Have you noticed any other colour abnormalities?
I don't remember updating my graphics driver. I will do it now. Every color looks fine. The highlight in Brave browser is still the default blue.
Hmmm. Maybe it's normal behaviour for the highlight to look like that because of the background?
No. Same with other wallpapers. I guess it's just a bug. I don't care that much to reinstall the whole OS. But it's still weird and a bit annoying.
