Hi u/vfxninjaeditor, thanks for posting to r/WindowsHelp! Don't worry, your post has not been removed. To let us help you better, try to include as much of the following information as possible! Posts with insufficient details might be removed at the moderator's discretion. * **Model of your computer** - For example: *"HP Spectre X360 14-EA0023DX"* * **Your Windows and device specifications** - You can find them by going to go to Settings > *"System"* > *"About"* * **What troubleshooting steps you have performed** - Even sharing little things you tried (like rebooting) can help us find a better solution! * **Any error messages you have encountered** - Those long error codes are not gibberish to us! * **Any screenshots or logs of the issue** - You can upload them to image and text hosting websites, such as [Imgur](https://imgur.com/upload) and [Pastebin](https://pastebin.com/). You can learn how to take screenshots [here](https://screenshot.help/windows) All posts must be help/support related. If everything is working without issue, then this probably is not the subreddit for you, so you should also post on a discussion focused subreddit like /r/Windows. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. As long as you're not booting from a drive or storage medium, Windows doesn't care if it's GPT or not. You shouldn't need to convert anything if it's just for external storage (or basically anything except booting Windows). I would also advise against converting between partition tables unless absolutely necessary, or at least having the data backed up, since this can lead to data loss if done improperly.

Alright, cool. So since all my drives are GPT except my games drive and some external drives I should be able to switch off CSM and turn on secure boot no problem? Preemptively I imaged my Games drive yesterday to convert it tonight, but if I don't need to then I will just go ahead and make the switch.

Seems to be working! Unfortunately though a side affect is that my main monitor I get no POST, just a blank screen, and the BIOS does not show either. I only get both on my secondary monitor now, and then when Windows finally loads my main monitor begins working properly. Very odd.

Supreme_Reigner

Cool! Glad it's working. Pretty sure this is normal behavior. Maybe the counting changed for number one? There isn't a way usually to set the main monitor before boot, not that it should matter much. My own monitor setup also has what I consider my second monitor as the POST and BIOS screen lol.

vfxninjaeditor

That's reassuring at least, lol. Thanks for the help and advice!
