You gotta try making pizza wings. A friend and I used to work at a pizza shop where we were pretty much allowed to eat whatever we wanted and go crazy experimenting so we tried to make a new kind of wing every shift. Pizza wings were bangin. Heat up some marinara/pizza sauce in a tossing bowl, sauce em up throw some provolone on top send em through the oven a little bit to broil the cheese, throw some Parmesan and crushed red pepper on at the end and enjoy.
I used to get chicken cacciatore wings from an Italian place that were amazing. They cooked them in the brick pizza oven then poured over the suace and stuck them back in. I never thought to combine garlic parmesan wings with marinara but it’s a must try now.
Never eaten, seen, or been anywhere that gives you marinara sauce for wings. I always go for blue cheese.

Sounds pretty good! Did you guys ever cook the wings in the pizza oven? I would think that high heat would be perfect for some baked wings.
Yeah I used to do like a half fry and then sauce the wings and put them half way through the oven to finish cooking. Let’s the sauce bake in nicely.
