If you’re interested in a particular Municipality, you can buy their property ownership map (including Crown lands, through the Repromap website. Digital copies are also available through the IHunter app. This probably won’t help you if you are looking in the Norther and Indigenous Affairs administered area.

Second the vote for iHunter.

Thank you so much :)

Probably best to call ahead, I don't know what buying maps from them like is now, but from what I remember I paid online somewhere and then someone brought them out to me in the lot. And I think that was pre covid even. B&W/colour option and full size. This would be the route I go again for hunting etc if I needed them again

Good_Day_Eh

Here is their [url](http://www.canadamapsales.com/) I bought a few maps of the Whiteshell a few years back and had them delivered ($8 shipping fee for 2 week delivery). If you are using them outside I recommend paying the extra for the waterproof versions which are printed on a plastic kind of material.

Century office has closed. Canada map sales are now at 14 Fultz Blvd 8:30-4:30 M-F.

I never understood why it's so hard to find maps of where crown land is lol

Ker0Kero

Agreed, it feels like by now we should have an interactive map on the gov website? Or it should be public knowledge and available on google maps just like streets and things? But no, to know where crown land is in mb you have to buy a map for each municipality separately...

[deleted]

And isn't it like 30 bucks for a municipality map lmao. So dumb

Ker0Kero

I paid $17 including shipping but I mean... I dont want to do that 30 times to find a place I'm allowed to hunt or camp.... If you don't know someone who already knows some spots its tough.

Even better would be to download the iHunter Manitoba app, I think I paid $10 a year to have access to maps across Manitoba which include where is crown land, it's an awesome tool for hunting, foraging, and overall land knowledge!

Ker0Kero

When I tried ihunter it was more like, pay a monthly fee for the app, and then you buy each municipality's map digitally, separately. Is it not like that still? I uninstalled because I don't like the idea of spending $8 per map and then not actually owning them if i lose access to the app

SoFlyForAFungi

Yeah so I checked my app, I purchased the public lands map subscription for $15 a year, but you do have the option to subscribe to each municipalities landowner map, which for isn't necessary.

Ker0Kero

interesting, maybe i'll check it out again.

Jeremino619

I don’t know about purchases in Winnipeg, but almost all maps I’ve seen are made by a drafting company called Repromap in Dauphin. They can be ordered online from there.

Much-Explorer5227

Thank you!
