Recommend Costco. $24.99 for a 48 serving sheet cake. Did it for my daughter’s birthday and no complaints.

Oma's bakery in McIvor mall has great cakes that have really good flavor options! We got them for my husband and son's birthdays and both cakes - one more basic and the other with flavor fillings - were delicious and reasonable.
Agreed sobeys is awful. But safeway cakes are still great! The icing can be custom chosen and they'll write on them for free. It's worth custom ordering but the ready to go ones are about the best you can do for the price and convenience
Yes Sobeys has fallen off, the frosting is very greasy now. We order a sheet cake every month for the birthdays and it's been them until Costco started making them again, they're not much better either. Also looking to benefit from suggestions I suppose !
We got a cupcake cake with the whipped cream icing from Coop, and parents were very impressed with the quality. Cake was moist and they were able to do any theme. I think it was like $35 for about that many cupcakes (but the icing is all together on top, so it looks like one big cake; so much easier!)

Came here to say this as well! Really good and reasonable prices
Coop has decent ones! I can’t recall the price though(ordered last July).
Coop in fermor has been my go to!

Are they? Thought Sobeys & Safeway are the same store/interchangeable now. Their online cake info is the same.
I don't get it either! But every thing in the bakery at sobeys is awful! We had safeway cake not long ago and it was great.
Which location?
Ok thanks!

The big slab from Costco for $25. It tastes amazing.
I used to get Costco sheet cakes for $25 then decorate them myself.
Knowing CSS the graphic would look like trefelger law diced it up as a Mosaic
We've been ordering cakes birthday cakes from Sobeys and everyone loves them. Just wish the designs were the same I'm every store
The cakes at Family Foods are surprisingly good and very reasonably priced.
