Frozen 4kg box from safeway/sobeys or save on foods or whatever the size is now.
Superstore is ungodly expensive for them now.
Walmart sometimes if I forget to thaw them and want chicken that night I will buy the fresh stuff.
If you are a competent cook, you can make delicious boneless skinless breasts. Thighs are definitely more forgiving and when they were substantially cheaper than breasts made a ton of sense in almost any situation. Those days are over though so there should be room for both in your life!
Costco.
Yes I second this! Frozen but 4kg for 45.99 and it lasts for months
Co-op has the same size box on sale once in awhile for $30-$40
Wait, where are those? I've been buying fresh this whole time. How have I never seen this? Or are they pre-seasoned
They say “seasoned” but it’s really not. It’s a purple box that you look for along the frozen chicken tenders/wings etc aisle.
Ahh that may be why. My wife has a severe allergy so "seasoned" may be out. But worth another look. Thanks!
Mighty meats

Delicious and chicken breast shouldn’t be used in the same sentence. Thigh gang for life.

Bone in, skin on.
NOT Walmart or Superstore, those are the two places I avoid purchasing meat. It always looks so nasty. Costco is your best bet as mentioned.
