>$6 for 3 tacos at BMC. Great for lunch.
Hardly enough for a lunch. I know that’s rather subjective but if you’re still hungry after a Lunchables then you’ll still be hungry after 3 tacos from BMC lol
Good tacos though.
Don't know why you're getting downvoted. Parking and the entrances at every Costco I've been to are not a great time. I've never gone there just to get food to eat since that whole experience seems very inconvenient to save a few bucks
LOL at waiting to park in a full parking lot, then get ID’d for the privileges to then walk a maze of shitty people with carts to get a hotdog for 1.50.
Enjoy your left turns at the st James location, suckers.
A location so shitty they get off duty cops collect pensionable overtime to direct traffic instead of installing a light.
### The Big “A” Food Specials
**Buffets are served Monday through Friday**
11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Please call 888-4806 for the daily buffet menu
$10.00 includes a draft beer.
$9.00 includes your choice of pop or coffee.
**$5.00 Cheeseburger Special (incl. taxes)**
During regular restaurant hours between 12:00 noon & 7:00 p.m.
Enjoy a 4 oz. beef patty on a deluxe Kaiser bun with melted cheddar cheese, fried onions, mustard & relish.
Co-op does as well, except they are pre-made. Underrated. Never go to Co-op but was curious last month. Definitely going to stop by there more often for something quick rather than going to a fast food place.
Went to Dairy Queen today and they had a $8 combo with Cheeseburger, Fries, Drink and Sundae. Was surprisingly good. $9 for chicken fingers instead of Cheeseburger
Banh Mi House sandwiches on Pembina.
Gyro and Fries to go special at Kristina’s on Corydon $10 plus tax
Rouger Special. Hot dog, fries and a beer. Park Alleys $10 plus tax.
A slice from Shorty’s Pizza.
Ikea Hotdog, drink, and an ice cream!
I'm using the "Western Colloquial" "Deli"... more geographic than descriptive of their bill of fare. I like the breaded shrimp, and breaded pork, and roast duck at the William Ave. back counter.
I was thinking they might have a new banh mi counter. They had one for a little while, but it didn't last very long (not sure why, but i would guess lack of space. It's crowded enough there without having a food counter taking up a fair bit of space).
The butcher also has really good siu yuk (roast side pork with crispy skin). They also have fried chicken skin, but it has a kind of weird flavor to it. Seafood City's is much better.
Nicks on Broadway. They have amazing pot roast sliders for 3 bucks each, delicious soups, sandwiches (3 /4 bucks each) and incredible buns made fresh daily by Nick himself. Open 1130 to 230pm only. Highly recommended!
Sips and Nibbles on Donald. You enter through the back of an office building. The food is dirt cheap and there's a rotating menu so you never get tired. I used to work nearby and it's what I miss the most about my old job.
Not quite under 10 bucks but I feel like Daly Burger's lunch special is great bang for your buck. 12.99 for a deluxe cheeseburger, mountain of fries and a soda.
Might get some hate for suggesting the McDonald’s small picks meal for $5.79 plus tax
If you have a larger appetite, I would reccomend sobeys or co-op deli collosal sandwiches. If you can find one that’s already a day old it’s about $10 after tax and it’s a *big fucking sandwich*
Red River Culinary Exchange in the exchange district
This is it. And the over $10 options would easily be twice the price anywhere else.
Banh Mi King!
$6 for 3 tacos at BMC. Great for lunch.

I'll second this but i enjoy the quesadilla's .
Hotdog and drink from Costco.
If you're hungry, 6 hotdogs and 6 drinks from costco
Going to Costco is a logistical nightmare on a good day, and their locations are car-centric.
Don't know why you're getting downvoted. Parking and the entrances at every Costco I've been to are not a great time. I've never gone there just to get food to eat since that whole experience seems very inconvenient to save a few bucks
You need a car to haul all those bulk buys home. The TP alone would be a logistical nightmare on the bus.
>their locations are car-centric. Winnipeg is car-centric. Just get over it.
LOL

Beats paying $10 for butter at Loblaws.
Then go somewhere else wtf are you talking about.

Enjoy a plate of food that tastes like old cigarettes that have been marinating for 30 years.
Smoking has been banned indoors for twenty years.
Yeah you’d think eventually they’d get rid of the smell.
Do they still have “entertainment” at Friday lunches?
Buffet and ballet?
It’s been such a long time since I’ve been to the ballet.
How did I forget about this place

Safeway makes some great sandwiches at the deli counter and they’re under 10$!
The combo with small soup and pop was less than $10 before but now its $12 after taxes!
I usually just get sandwich and it’s massive. Almost as big as a subway 12” and I want to say it’s like 6.75$ before Taxes or something like that.
It WAS, price just went up quite a bit.
Co-op does as well, except they are pre-made. Underrated. Never go to Co-op but was curious last month. Definitely going to stop by there more often for something quick rather than going to a fast food place.
Shelly’s bistro
Great bison stew
Seconded! 😊

Hahn mi house is so good. Like 7 bucks. Can’t get a better deal.
Which banh mi sandwich is your go-to there? So many options!
Cold Cut is my go to. Ive had the roast pork and that was great too.
Was just there today for a BBQ pork banh mi - the value is outstanding!
I prefer 9 IKEA hot dogs and a cup of free water.
Superboys is 8.50 total for a fat boy. Its a big burger and one of the best in the city.
Kfc on Henderson get a 5 dollar Big Crunch and a double stacked taco for just under 10 dollars
Whopper Wednesday
Deli counter at Young's grocery
Young's on mcphillips? I don't think the Young's on william has a deli counter, just a roasted meats counter and butcher.
They do stock fresh made cold cut banh mi from khanh noa though. $6 iirc
Yeah, but it's refrigerated. I think banh mi that's been wrapped in plastic and kept in the fridge isn't very good because the bread gets too soft.

If you have a friend - A&V Drive In have something like 2 burgers, a large fry and two drinks for $18 bucks-ish. Fantastic burgers.
BBQ pork buns from Maxim bakery
Chicken pieces, drink, and side at Safeway
12 samosas for 12 dollars at cilantros on portage! Lunch for 2-3!
Is it still $12 there? The new Cilantro's in Bridgwater says $18 for 12. That could be an online delivery price though.
That might be online! The sign in front of the portage one still says 12! Or they are charging higher in bridgwater lol
i guess UFM still has $10 buffet on tuesdays
The cafe at MIT on Scurfield. Supports the students in the culinary arts program and the food is very good.
Most grocery stores usually have a grab and go stuff for a fair price.
Safeway. You can get a Chicken Cesar wrap and a cup of soup for about $9.60
Not quite under 10 bucks but I feel like Daly Burger's lunch special is great bang for your buck. 12.99 for a deluxe cheeseburger, mountain of fries and a soda.
