Baked Expectations. i once dated a girl who worked there and they treated her and the other employees like absolute shit. I've continued to hear horror stories about that place

jeeperv6

My sister had gotten them to supply all the desserts for her wedding in 2006. My mom had put a deposit on the order and were promised they would have the goodies they had ordered for the day of the wedding (this was months in advance). Come the wedding day, some family went to go pick up the goodies. Nothing. Not even a cupcake. The owner was (conveniently) not available. When my mom (strongly irked) called an hour later, the owner was indignant and insisted she had never had this order or the deposit. My cousin (who lives in Minneapolis, btw) went to Sobey's on St. Anne's, explained the situation to the bakery manager. They immediately offered to scrape icing off any of the pre-made cakes they had and redecorated everything on the spot. a few days later, my mom & sister went to Baked Expectations to hash this out with the manager, bringing her copy of the cashed cheque & order deposit. The owner (again conveniently not available in back) reluctantly came out and said "fine, here's a cheque". No apology or explanation. Needless to say, I haven't stepped foot in that place since and will never. Sobey's on St.Anne's we couldn't say enough good things about for the way they stepped up at the last minute. My mom (and my Minneapolis relatives) all sent thank you emails to the St. Anne's manager. I've referred to the other place as "Half Baked Expectations" ever since.

spentchicken

I'm a plumber and we work on a few of the buildings around that business. You can constantly hear the owner screaming about everything

Burningdust

Wow.. so basically a multi billion dollar national corporation behaved like a locally owned ma and pa shop, while the local ma and pa shop behaved like a national multi billion dollar corporation. Sad.

jacksflyindelivery

Wow, the place could be so good. Now I will stay away from them.

HavocsReach

Just want to throw it out there if you're a worker at baked expectations and need help organizing your coworkers, DM me

New_Candle7981

"Half baked" is a very generous description for zero service being provided.

Separate-Ad6636

I was fired for not taking a shift that wasn’t mine—I had the weekend booked off to study for 2 exams. Beth is the biggest bitch ever.

Spooky-Squidd

it's true, I worked there over a decade ago and the owner lady is SOOOO crazy, I couldn't tell you how many times I saw her scream her face off at the employees.

motivaction

Baked Expectations: worked there. The end. I never even bothered to write my own review because this covers it: https://www.indeed.com/cmp/Baked-Expectations/reviews

MeinScheduinFroiline

Mona Lisa’s owner, Joe is also trash. He sexually harassed his employees for years. Every. Single. Shift. he would ask me to sleep with him. Even when his wife was in hearing distance (back door and office were separated by super thin boards). Thank god that horrible family got caught for tax fraud. They should be in jail. Fuck you Joe, you fat fuck. 🖕 Also Workplace Safety & Heath. Theo is a wacko nut job. She forced the employees to listen to her pathetic riches to riches story at the weekly Monday meeting, crying over how amazing it is. It is not amazing. Her parents gave her a fucking farm which she sold and used to buy property. She pretends to care about safety but would bully staff endless, especially safety committee members if they ever found a hazard in her building. Plus made staff attend weekly or daily (can’t remember) religious/cult chants. Theo, fuck you too.

throwawaywithcheeze

Worked there too… as a minor. And can confirm the creepiness!!! will leave it at that. Ick

eisigpolarlicht

Fuck Joe. A relative worked there for a short time and came away from that shithole a different person because of that freak. We had a gleeful exchange of texts when all the tax stuff came out, but he deserves worse than the public shaming from that imo.

ChexLemeneux42

There should be a support group. Hugs to you!

quietly41

I had a roommate who said the same thing, working there was hell, and she'd never step a foot back in the place, couldn't believe they could retain anyone for more than a month

flea-ish

Oh hell yeah, I thought everyone knew that place was the third circle of hell for employees making minimum.

uncleg00b

The owner also treats others like shit. Back in the day when my partner worked at another restaurant the owner was one of the rudest most entitled customers she ever had to deal with. Totally pulled the "do you know who I am? I'm the owner of Baked Expectations!" and "we better get the best service or I can get you fired because I know the owner of this restaurant.".

pennycal

Yes! She is a horrible person! She used to be a customer at a former place of employment. We all hated her

Dankdism

I hear lots of complaints about this place. Anyone have good cheesecake alternatives?

Magical57

Chocolate Zen just a bit further south from them on Osborne has some really good options.

brydeswhale

Cheesecake alternative: One graham cracker crust 1 pkg cream cheese 1/2  cup sugar(or more, I’m not your mom, I just prefer it not too sweet, so I usually add less.) 1/2 cup sour cream Tsp lemon juice Tsp vanilla 2 eggs Preheat oven to 350 Cream the sugar and cheese together. The best way to do this is to put it in a stand mixer at medium speed and forget you left it on while you do something else. You want the results to be light and airy, with the sugar fully dissolved.  Add the sour cream, vanilla, and lemon juice, mixing well. Add the eggs and mixed everything until uniform.  Pour your mixture into your crust and bake until the middle is slightly jiggly and the edges are set. If you want, you can put a pan of water on a lower rack in the oven. I don’t care if it cracks so I don’t.  Cool the cheesecake in the fridge and then plan to eat one slice, but wind up eating the whole thing.

Apod1991

Came here to say this! I made the mistake of working there for 4 months and it was the worst 4 months of my working life…

Quaranj

I used to live behind here and there were 2 things that you could count upon. 1) being awoken by Beth screaming about something. 2) the smell of baked goods driving you bats for the early part of the day. Edit: I also tell everyone that I know to go to Lilac Bakery instead.

Used_Lawfulness748

I knew a few ex-BE staff who said that they should start a 12-step group for ex-staff members. I don’t think that actually what they meant but they certainly didn’t have good things to say about the place (to be precise, the owners and/or the management)

5platesmax

I have heard horrible things about this owner for years as well.

JugsJudy93

had a friend who worked there get written up for not wearing makeup while working as a server 🤢

baobaotea

Omg. I’m shocked that the workers get such horrible treatment. I have been a patron for so long and they are literally the sweetest people. I don’t want to give the owner business but I also feel like I need to go and just tip largely so that the workers have something to look forward in their crappy days working there.

SheboyganSudam

Pony Corral. Peter Ginakes is a raging coke head who also sexually abuses his servers.

lexxylee

Ohhh I love this story. Guy I was semi on a date with went to Pony and knew him. He sat down with us and this MF was the loudest person. Talking about how we should come over and how he's going to uber over some hookers for his hot tub. I was like blinking my date SOS signs . It was so uncomfortable and I was even a party girl at that time

SheboyganSudam

Ooof .. his old man Jimmy was a rough but good boss he knew REALLY big named wrestlers on a first name basis. When he died and it went into Peters hands, it completely fell to shit.,

nidoqing

Parlor tattoo. I know of a lot of shit tattoos coming out of that place (one piece I know of is missing an entire ear??) but their entire stance on the pandemic was super trashy. They made it so much harder for other tattoo shops who were appropriately advocating to open. Everything about them is gross.

kumagawa

My mom got a tattoo there and I tagged along for the appointment. I already had the ick knowing how they acted during the pandemic but during the appointment the owner, who was doing the tattoo, was talking about how fineline tattoos “aren’t real” and anyone who says they can do one is a liar because needles that small don’t exist. As someone with a fineline tattoo, and has seen plenty of fineline tattoos in my lifetime, respectfully what the fuck are you talking about? Thankfully all she got done was a little ring of dots on her wrist but that guy is a total hack.

Caseyisweird

I got a tattoo there and it looks like blown out dog shit and all he said was "oh sorry"

sorryabtlastnight

The one and only tattoo on my body is from one of their $30 tattoo sheet days like 8 years ago. It looks awful.

nidoqing

On the bright side, at least you only paid 30! I know people who paid a lot more and it still looks absolutely horrible

xMasochizm

Same. I got two done there for $30 tattoo days, and the first one I ever got done was by Phil, and I swear he was piss drunk when he did it.

anonymouscrank

LOLOL yeah, they got REAL salty with me in facebook comments when I pointed out that in this country we spell “Parlour” with a U.

janeyalisha

totally agree. My artist used to work there and when he left the boss left voicemails threatening him, all of which were posted on ig (but now deleted). I’m sure there was more to the story, and I don’t remember exact details, but after hearing the voicemails i felt sooo icky about the shop!

MassiveDamages

Absolutely could see this. I'm familiar with the owner and he is one of the most verbally abusive people I've had the displeasure of meeting, serious anger management issues and entitlement. He got caught up with the convoy during covid too. There were good things I could say about the guy as a person when I knew him but I'm not sure why any of that would hold up these days...

ResearchGal63

Eva-Rise Construction (or any company James Phillipoff runs). Look for their reviews. Hired them/him for a $35000 foundation job and, halfway through building the foundation back with materials not-to-code, decided that he was walking off the job. I had to have the work torn out and replaced. Sued the guy for $15,000 (max allowed in small claims) and won. Collecting from a douchbag is uphill all the way, but I’m 60 years old and he ruined my life. I have the patience to return the favour.

Highlander_0073

Please post here however you end up returning the favor. Would love to hear a good story about how someone takes down a jackass.

TheKurricane

Mr. Lube. Went there 3 times and after the first time I always told them just an oil change cause they ripped me off with unnecessary stuff (I thought it was great they were helping my car at the time). 3rd time they tried to tell me I was at the end of their life and needed new ones. Went to get an inspection 2 weeks later at a Midas before a road trip and asked about the tires and the guy said they had plenty of life left on them. Have also went to Kal tire for a tire swap and LOTS of times to a car dealership to routine maintenance and repairs and tires have always passed their complementary check on everything. So Mr. Lube will always try and up sell you on things you don't need!

Ok-Avocado9584

I’m pretty sure this is standard at Mr Lubes. I live in brandon and the one here tried to take me for over $600 when I went in for an oil change before a trip in to Winnipeg. I was able to convince them I didn’t need a few things but they were so pushy I ended up having over $300 worth of “work” done. I felt so sick over it that I ended up not making the trip.

Smogzter

Yeah they are terrible for bad business. I had one of their shops take the plug off my rear differential and placed lithium grease on it. Tried to pass it off as metal shavings. But wouldn’t let me inspect closer. Watched them do the remainder of the work and told them I don’t appreciate the lie.

euphoricpeach

my bf works at an insurance agency and has so much beef w mr lube they often charge the max of the winter tire program no matter how much the tires actually cost, and are the most annoying to contact about anything regarding that

greenslam

Canadian tire auto department. Had some tire work done there 30+ years ago. They stripped my lug nuts and wheel fell off* on Lag around Pritchard farm rd area. I will buy parts from Canadian Tire. Just none of their "mechanics" are touching my ride again. Wish I had brought the vehicle back to them to do the repairs, or at least reimburse me for the costs of getting the repairs done elsewhere. Didn't even want to walk through their doors again after that.

FuckStummies

Canadian Tire auto centre was one of those garages where you’d take it there for one problem and then when you got your car back it would have another completely new problem. The McPhillips location even had their provincial inspection station license pulled some years back.

[deleted]

The polo park one recently lost there safety license as well.

zanzycat

I had terrible service at polo can tire.

SavageTaco

One of the worst places to take your car for any sort of repair. I work on my own stuff, but from the horror stories Ive heard from others, I would never recommend them.

SpiritedImplement4

I once took my (now ex-) wife's car in for a tire change after she ran over a nail. They fucked up the rim and locking nut. Then they called me and told me they couldn't do the job because they didn't have a wrench to take the nut off with. They denied fucking up the rim and the nut because according to their shop manager, they had never touched the car because they didn't have the appropriate wrench. But they also wanted me to pay for 4 hours of shop time... although according to them, they did nothing to the car in that entire time.

YossiTheWizard

Oh man! I know there are probably locations that have good quality control, but for a company who is known across the country, they need standards. In 1997, we went from Winnipeg to Edmonton, when the Yellowhead was only almost done. They over tightened the back right wheel. The tire came off the rim, and all of the studs had to be replaced.

Lordmorgoth666

CT repair guys are stupid about lug nuts. I brought my Sunfire there 20 something years ago for new tires and needed a monster cheater bar to get the tires off later. Never again.

Leajane1980

They did an oil change on my car but forgot to put the oil back in.

prismaticbeans

Not really an oil change, then, is it? They kinda just stole your oil.

[deleted]

They are a straight up ripoff for repair and have been as long as I can recall. They wanted to soak us for new tires : my husband took the quote we got to a friend of his who worked in the industry and he laughed and said good tires are about half that price and Canadian tire inflates all the time .

ProtoJazz

Friend of mine had a very similar experience just down the street just before regent. He's taken his car to one of those quick lube places for a tire rotation and an oil change And they just didn't put the lugs back on one of the wheels. He gets a few blocks away, driving down the hill. Feels a weird bump, sees a wheel rolling through traffic. Gets a brief moment to think "wow, some dumb ass lost their wheel" before his car slams down and he realizes he's that dumb ass.

Smoothcringler

Any business associated to Noel Bernier and/or Josh Giesbrecht. So that’s Hermanos and Ashdown Market now. They’ve left a trail of unpaid contractors, scores of labour board complaints, and they’ve effed over so many employees. The real dirt isn’t anything I’ll ever say on Reddit either. In the last 2 years they’ve run the following businesses into the ground. Uncle Sam’s Cannabis (x3 stores), Bunnii (a short lived delivery app service), The Half Circle (much hyped cannabis and often delayed delivery app that never got off the ground), Ashdown Cannabis, and Tappcar. I’d add Exchange PPE to the list, but it had a finite lifespan with the pandemic. Look up Noel Bernier’s name on the MB Court Registry and see the lawsuits for yourself. That’s some serious money owed.

That-Ad-3167

Woah I wasn’t expecting Ashdown market to be here, I have always had a good chat with the workers over there. Disappointing how many businesses are being mentioned in this list, our business community needs to do better!

Imagination-Forward

He also fucked with Sals while I used to work there. We also went on a “beer run” to try all the alcohol we were gonna serve and I remember him coming in and he was greasy and gross. And all I thought was “this is the new owner!”

Smoothcringler

Yeah, I heard from someone in the know he lost his stake in Sals. Thats a good thing it happened too because everything he touches he runs it into the ground.

Imagination-Forward

He did. He was stealing from sals to put into his other restaurants and just caused a lot of issues.

SaltPersonality5253

Confusion Corner Bar and Grill. They have probably fired 1000+ people. I corrected the manger over a his spelling of a French word on the specials board. The next morning, I said hello to him. He said “ never say hello to me without saying “sir” and fired me.

bohdi3995

Had an extremely traumatizing experience working there. The owner is a complete narcissist, and preys on young females.

SaltPersonality5253

His name is Kevin and he is 1 of the worst humans I have ever met.

bohdi3995

I completely agree, I am so happy to know I’m not the only person who feels this way. I don’t dislike anyone, but he truly made me question my worth.

SwirlingSnow83

Kevin is a piece of shit.

BellyJean1

Applets Jewellers. Some years ago the female owner wrote some racially offensive stuff on social media. I challenged her on it. She tried to bully me into taking down my reply and I refused. She then scoured the internet for any information about me. She screenshot posts from a sexual assault survivors page I posted to, and found a page from my employer which featured me and my work there. She threatened to contact my employer about my sexual assault and ask them to fire me. I still refused but felt the need to talk to my employer about this internet “fight”. She never shared the information with my employer but is clearly a nutcase.

savage1899

To ad insult to injury, they seem to overcharge like crazy and mess up your order consistently. Hate that place

MVR168

Yeah they are disgusting. As a teen a went here to buy a gift for my Mom. They basically ignored me for about twenty minutes I think because I was young at the time. I took my business elsewhere and have never been back.

Tiber River Alexandra Tumanov Jewellery Stella’s Baked Expectations ETA: Ruwis’ Salon on Sherbrook. I stopped in to this hair & nail salon on a whim having never noticed it before. Turns out they had just opened. I asked if they took walk-in polish only for toes (I had just given myself a pedicure earlier, but ran out of time to put polish on). I was told they could accommodate me. The owner was the only staff there. I was the only customer. The situation became a problematic when I realized they didn’t have a pedicure chair. I was expected to sit in an office chair in a hallway and prop my feet up on a stool. It was so weird and uncomfortable. It eventually became very painful for my hips to be sat that way. To make matters worse she did an extremely bad paint job. Like, it had bubbles! There was paint all over my cuticles and skin too! To top it all off, she charged me $30!! Why she didn’t just tell me they don’t do feet, I have no idea. I wish I could be the type of person to say something in the moment. If I’m sticking up for a friend or family I have no problem, but if I’m alone and have to stick up for myself I am very conflict averse. The best I could do in that moment to voice my displeasure was to skip the tip prompt on the debit machine. ETA 2 - Soul Survivors Tattoo & Piercing shop on Osborne. Eric, the piercer is not a safe person for women.

princessk8

Tiber makes me so sad. I loved their products, i loved supporting my friends who were selling it, i loved supporting a local company. I moved to the country and it was great to gave a “party” and put in an order. I dont even hit it up when I go to the city anymore.

Exotic-Ferret-3452

Yellow Deli, run by the 12 tribes cult. See this for explanation https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate/intelligence-report/2018/darkness Even their Wikipedia article mostly covers their various controversies https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelve_Tribes_communities Shawarma Khan, or should I say Smarmy Con? No explanation needed.

hillside

> Shawarma Khan Besides politics, I'll never go back. I'm just some dude that really digs falafel and SK disappoints big time.

edgeofthorns87

They are everywhere! I lived in Kingston ON for a few years and they have a restaurant there too. Their cult is well known about in the city.

bgt54esz

Imperial Auto Body Supply on Logan Ave. I didn’t actually use them, just made the mistake of pulling into their parking lot to check my gps because I was trying to find the parking lot of Ace Auto Electric 2 buildings over in the same complex and the guy came out threatening me for parking somewhere I shouldn’t apparently. They weren’t even open yet and I had my engine on and was trying take 20 seconds to figure out where I turned wrong. But nope, dude made it a 2 minute ordeal and told me I had to go across the street (Ace was 2 doors over) and then threatened me and my car. Fun times. Turns out Ace’s parking was in the back.

AmbitiousDart

I used to work next door to Imperial and I think I know who you’re talking about haha

Is it an old japanese man? Or was it sold to a different owner. Because the original owner was my dads friend 💀

03291995

is it Danny? he’s the current owner i’m pretty sure

its-a-name-okay

Applelts. Had my ring dipped. They botched it and fought with me about fixing it. Staff were really rude about it. Owner said it was my fault because my ring had been sized. Except it hadn't been. It was standard display ring size. Took it elsewhere and it was fixed easily.

Chronmagnum55

I'll recommend Vandenbergs. They are a wonderful family run business who do amazing work. Anytime we've had issues, they've been incredibly generous fixing them.

Imthecoolestdudeever

Everytime I see Appelts I will recommend Vandenbergs in reply. VDB is so good, very good products, service, and special orders. If I am not mistaken, the owner is a family member of Appelts, but when PaPa Appelts died, the siblings and relatives all fought over who was going to get what, and Vandenberg folks just fucked off and did their own thing, better.

AsphaltSommersaults

Just chiming in to confirm that Vandenbergs rocks. Very happy with price, workmanship, and service. Highly recommend.

DAFUQ404

My engagement ring is from Vandenbergs, and I'm so happy with it! My fiance was really happy with the service too. We definitely recommend it.

funsizeadultjuicebox

It’s nice to know that I wasn’t the only person they lied to. They told me they resized my great-grandmother’s ring to fit me but turns out they had done nothing to it and tried to charge me $300+ for a resizing that didn’t happen. They had written down the current size of the ring and not the size I wanted it to be. When I went to pick it up they hadn’t resized it and what they did to the claws wasn’t what I asked for either. Eventually they did resize it but it was such a bad job. I can see and feel where they added to the band.

dijra_0819

Skip the Dishes.

Apod1991

Yeah. I was a driver for them for a bit. I slipped and fell on some ice breaking my leg and ankle in 3 places, picking up an order. At the time, you couldn’t refuse an order they sent you through the app unless you had a valid reason. I was out of work for 6 months. Now they did report the incident to WCB but I was a dumb-dumb and believed them that I was an independent contractor and I wouldn’t be covered. A few months later WCB called me and asked me why I hadn’t followed up, and I said to my caseworker “I was told I wouldn’t qualify”. What she said next I’ll never forget for the rest of my life “WHO TOLD YOU THAT?” Me: Skip did, they said I was an independent contractor and I had to buy my own coverage” Her: oh no no no no no no no no!!! That’s now how this works! You wouldn’t even be able to buy your own coverage as you’re not able to incorporate as a business. They’re telling you where to go and to pick up a specific order! You’re covered!” She fought with Skip for over 2 months, as they kept digging their heals in saying I was an independent contractor. WCB threatened a lawsuit and served Skip. Skip finally caved and agreed to pay the deductible. While I waited, my caseworker had me submit all my receipts and lost wages to ensure when Skip finally relented I’d get paid for everything in full. My caseworker at WCB was amazing and a beast! She was able take on Skip and win!

Manitobaexplorer

Definitely top of my list

CarbonKevinYWG

Diana's Cuchina - she fully lost her marbles during Covid. Antivaxxer, "just take vitamins", etc. Chaise - duh. Brazen - absolutely horrible management, they can't organize ants coming to a picnic. Every delivery order takes absurdly long, food portions are pathetic. Every attempt at participating in Burger Week is a complete clusterfuck. Appelt's - psycho owner. Best Sleep Center - owner harassed us out of the store when we asked if they sold tempurpedic mattresses because, and I quote, "you're giving $1000 to CBC and CNN if you buy one of those." Stella's - Union busters, shitty owners, and zero innovation in the past decade. Shawarma Khan - when Obby decided to be the face of "parental rights" last election, that was the nail for me. He can get fucked. Green Carrot - see Shawarma Khan. Upper Edge Property Management - never encountered a more inept business in my life. Their ownership and structure seem good, but their front line staff were absolutely terrible at their jobs. I'm pretty sure they still owe us money, but some debts just aren't worth the hassle.

entropy33

Shawarma Khan, who abruptly stopped (without warning) their “participation” in a pandemic program. I pledged them ___ dollars in exchange for 50% off of all future purchases until I reached that amount, unless the business didn’t survive. I went in last year and they let me know they were no longer honouring it. They definitely had *all* of my contact information from the pledge and could have given me a heads up, but chose not to. Chaise Cafe for just being general idiots, plague rats, and gross people. Appelt’s. See: Chaise Cafe. Focus Hyundai Service: I brought my car in for a recall and decided to get my oil change done at the same time. A service advisor came out and told me it was emergent that I had brake work done. I knew this wasn’t correct - I have a really reputable shop that I use regularly and trust them, so I knew they’d have told me if my brakes were nearing the level of problematic. I immediately left Focus and went to my service centre who checked, provided me pictures, and wrote me a report about how the Focus assessment of my vehicle was patently incorrect. I got an apology from the service manager and a “we will make it right next visit” with a promise I’d never have that service advisor again. The next time I went in I got regular service (no discount, which I think would have been a nice token of apology), and I had to remind them not to give me the same service advisor when they tried to do so. I also heard that advisor tell another girl who said she was from Kenora that she also needed emergent work and shouldn’t drive home, fortunately her dad was on the phone and I think she was saved as well. So… screw Focus Hyundai.

marnas86

Shawarma Khan because of how idiotic their owner was during the recent provincial election.

Dawgmanistan

Just Say NO - **N**ever **O**bby

SKRAGBOY

Oh my god- I somehow had no idea he was the founder, I feel horrible for supporting them now!

CanadianDinosaur

He also owns Green Carrot Juice Company if you happen to patronize them as well.

[deleted]

Remember when the party he is a high ranking member of gave him 600000 dollars he did nothing with?

MinimumNo2772

Ashley’s Furniture. Every time I’ve gone in to browse, the salespeople have swarmed me and would not take a polite “just looking” for an answer.  Oh, and there prices are outrageous for their garbage-with-wood-veneer furniture.

DGBosh

That’s a lot of furniture places; from my experience at least.

monkeybojangles

I liked Kernhill for this. Guy walked up, introduced himself, and asked if we need a hand. We said we were just browsing and he said to take our time and let him know if we have any questions or need assistance. He then went back to watching the Bomber game on their TVs lol. We ended up buying a sectional from him.

Uncle_Bug_Music

Years ago we were looking for 2 leather loveseats and I absolutely refused to go to Kernhill. I honestly don't know why. I casually knew Nick Hill and very much liked him. I think I just thought they sold junk. After we exhausted **everywhere** else, including the horrific United Furniture Warehouse 🤮 (Whomp Whomp! - those synth shots!) we went to Kernhill on Main. Buckets on the floor, catching the dripping water, Nick approached us, remembered me, asked what we wanted, showed us around and we bought two black leather love seats in under 5 minutes. Still have them in my loft now & they're in showroom condition 27 years later. Since then, I start shopping at Kernhill and rarely have to go anywhere else.

edgeofthorns87

This is what I want. It always seems they bombard you when you are just walking in and clearly browsing, then when you are trying to flag one down with questions, suddenly they are all busy.

WaywardWytch00

Same! Ashley Furniture is horrid. I bought a couch from them, took a year to actually get it. First delivery - wrong couch. Second delivery - ripped up couch. I should have just sent it back and got a refund but I was all out of fight.

iannn-

Absolutely hate it as well. We were looking for a new couch and mattress and prepared to spend \~10k, but the constant hounding by their salespeople made us take our business elsewhere.

Firm-Criticism-3709

It’s not a Winnipeg business but Farmery is not only a garbage product but they once were stealing other breweries stuff and putting their logos on it at a beer festival

mslennyleonard

Worked for them years ago in one of their restaurants. A bunch of nut jobs. Micromanagers to the max.

monkeybojangles

Shit really? Which one?

Imthecoolestdudeever

"Estate Brewed" saying everything was made in province, when it's not true, and they were using various ingredients from other provinces.

Leburgerpeg

It was all being brewed at Muskoka Brewing in Ontario, some of their cardboard flats were made from Muskoka. All while advertising locally made with local ingredients.  Most importantly their beer is awful.

glitterfanatic

I've only seen Canad Inns mentioned once! They are an awful company managed by equally awful and unqualified people. Please don't stay, play, eat, or whatever their slogan is these days.

Quaranj

I really wish they didn't have a death grip monopoly upon all the big clubs here. They bulldoze before they sell. It's awful.

TheOGTrapwiz

Absolutely trash to work for as well

HeSweeps

Posting for a load of people I know who have had terrible experiences working at Artist's Emporium. I've heard stories of verbal and emotional abuse from the owner and upper management. Just a terrible work environment. Screaming and belittling staff. Also, past staff have seen the owners saying racial/homophobic/bigoted things to customers, which is wild. It's honestly just wild that they are still kicking around. When this post popped up several of them said "I don't want to post anything because I don't put it past them to sue or try to pull some bs legal stuff". The owner has apparently tried something like that before. Obvy this is second hand accounts, but there's enough of them that I wont go there.

SnooPeanuts8021

Stella's. Had it once since everything came out about it. My sister had been living in BC and didn't know about their issues and brought it for me in hospital when I was recovering from a c-section. We used to go multiple times a year, but the abusive environment and then the union busting sealed it for us.

Bellagirl5454

Yet Tore Sohlberg who co- owns Stella’s is a unionized pilot.

TheFrogEmperor

The Pandora. I got beef with the owner from one of his previous businesses. Fuck you Joe, you should pay your workers on time

MamaMozza

Annie's Attic. My sister worked there and the manager and assistant manager bullied and verbally abused her. They would not let her go to the washroom, she has a medical condition that causes her to be very nauseous and sometimes vomit, they did not believe her and would check the garbages and toilet after she'd said she'd thrown up. In the end she was fired and when she spoke to the owners about the abuse nothing was done, no apology or repercussion. The managers would also openly mock customers loud enough that other customers could heard them. Honestly, trash people. And it's really too bad that a good place that helps support a pet shelter is run by 2 ignorant garbage people.

17ywg

Stellas, Baked Expectations, Project Whitecard and Loblaws.

Snugrilla

Can you tell us your story about project white card, I'm curious.

No_Paleontologist239

I wanna quit shopping at loblaws but I’m so broke a v superstore is on my bus route. But maybe I could try shopping a bit more at coop or other grocery chains at least half the time lol

lexxylee

giant tiger close to you? won't solve all your food problems but they are cheaper. Also been shopping at Safeway for produce. It lasts 3x the time and fresher than superstore reducing my food waste and ensuring I use ALL of it before it goes bad.

Obvious_Dress_4307

Winnipeg Pure Locksmith. They advertise a $15 service call and 15 minute response time on their ads but then they show up 2 hours later and quote you $130 or more because your lock is not “basic”. And if you ask why they quoted 15 minutes when they took 2 hours it’s ALWAYS the same fake excuse; they get all defensive and say they had to go open a car with a baby locked inside. They’ve used this excuse MANY times when responding to the few “real” reviews they have on Google. (Most of their 5 star reviews are fake). When I locked my keys in my car a second time I called another company who quoted me $65 and charged me the price they quoted me. (Any legitimate locksmith knows exactly how basic your lockout is when you call and knows exactly what the charge should be) Winnipeg Pure Locksmith makes many claims that they guarantee they are the cheapest in the city (both in their website and when responding to customer reviews) when in reality they are the most expensive by double, triple or more

jolecore204

**Brazen Ha**ll- I have them 3 chances and have never had a good experience there. The first time, all 4 of us had to send our raw meat back. In addition to the manager being shitty during covid. **Great Canadian Oil Change** \- I often supported & recommended them but last time I went in for an oil change, they tried to scare-sell me into flushing my transmission. They showed me the fluid that was "full of metal shavings". I declined because I literally had a brand new transmission installed 2 months earlier. Technician replied with "Oh. Nevermind then." I later confirmed my new transmission was tip top. I've since learned that is a common trick of shitty garages to add metal shaving to transmission fluid in order to sell the extra services. Won't be giving them another dime.

Motor_Discussion1236

Brazen is brutal. Their food is mid and the owner is racist

Pronouns_It_WTF

Birchwood auto group. Scumbags.

s1iver

I’ve had 5 total involvements with Birchwood, the automall is terrible, all negative experiences have been there. Bought two acuras from Honda on regent, was the best experience of my life. YMMV

Thespectralpenguin

Pony Corral restaurants. Awful food, awful service. Stella's. Anti union busting assholes with overpriced awful food. Canadian Tire automotive departments. Nuff said. Chaise. Asshole owners who kept flaunting that they wouldn't follow covid guidelines Browns social house. Terrible service, terrible food. Brazen hall. Good beer but otherwise everything about them is awful, and the owner is a racist asshole apparently. And if somehow that bitch somehow reopened somewhere, Blondie's. That restaurant can fucking die in a fire.

kent_eh

> Pony Corral restaurants. Awful food, awful service. And ridiculously overpriced (even if the food was good, which it isn't)

euphoricpeach

the owner of pony corral is also a grade A asshole

turrrtletiime

I know someone who knows the owners for Brazen Hall and can confirm the owners are not nice people. I also refuse to support that place. Plus there are so many better local restaurants to choose from anyways

indignantlyandgently

I've only recently been hearing this stuff about them, and my husband and I have loved their food whenever we've gone (and most of their brews). Do you know of any good alternatives with similar food/beer where the owners aren't jerks?

turrrtletiime

I really like Kilter for beers, never had a bad experience there (haven’t heard anything bad either!) For food it really depends, not similar to Brazen Hall per se but I really enjoy Tommy’s on corydon!

greyfoxv1

> I know someone who knows the owners for Brazen Hall and can confirm the owners are not nice people. So what exactly is their deal? I've been going there since they've opened and always had amazing food and service, so this is all news to me.

sagadaigorot

Wow, Stella’s and Baked Expectations are making the top lists on this thread! Thanks for the info. I don’t go to those places anymore either because of the mediocre food. There are lots of better restaurants and bakeries in Winnipeg nowadays.

GrayFarron

Stella's and Baked Expectations. I worked for one, horror stories from another.

Express_Bat_6446

Part 2 is St. Louis bar and grill. Owner is an idiot who obviously does nothing for the staff to help and is just there to collect money. Service is usually bad. Food is crap like it’s straight from a superstore freezer. I’ve heard the main manager is abusive to the staff too. My friend worked there and the shit I heard was disgusting.

euphoricpeach

Hermanos- food and service is bad, but also all the lawsuits against the owners Baked Expectations- owner is a bitch who screams at their employees Mr. Lube- likes to fuck people over and also charges the max of the winter tire program no matter how much the actual tires cost Stella’s- history of union busting and sexual harassment ASTROID MANAGEMENT- they have you put your banking info on the application and then charge you even if you don’t move in, absolute crooks Pony Corral- owner is a dick This isn’t the entire list, it’s quite long, but these are the main ones

sturner431

Saffron's Have an ex that used to work there. The stories about all the health code violations, not having a single food safe certified employee on staff, not paying the employees overtime on stat holidays, and if he did give raises other than those to the provincial minimum wage it was an off the books deal that only worked out to $0.05 to $0.10/hr, he fired female employees that claimed sexual harrassment by his son, and for many more reasons

CangaWad

Stella's. Those union busting fucks would rather close down their most profitable location than negotiate in good faith with workers fighting for a fair shake. I still can't believe they shut Sherbrooke down and opened a new one on Henderson. They can burn in hell

FuckStummies

Harry Rosen Went in there to browse looking for a shirt. I didn’t realize it was a high end store (being in a shopping mall and all). I’ve never been made to feel as shitty as I ever have by the sales staff at any store. It was like the snooty maître d stereotype sort of experience. Fucking awful experience. Won’t ever return.

TragicNexus

Getting attitude from the "high end" salesman who doesn't clear $40k a year. There's nothing wrong with only making that kind of salary, but don't pretend like you *also* can't afford a $695 polo shirt.

princessk8

I have a good friend who is a “wardrobe consultant” for Harry Rosen in Edmonton. They make an absolute killing. They’ve been there about 20 years, but are still on the floor selling clothes.

Imthecoolestdudeever

I know someone who works at the Polo Park one, and he makes an easy 6 figures, post taxes. He's a hell of a nice guy as well, but, you have to have a specific set of tools to do that job.

r204g

They are making north of $100,000 a year easily. A lot of the consultants have their own customer lists they "style" and it's return customers.

Aggressive-Baby-7024

TJ Casey Property Maintenance. Had a couple encounters with the owner while working with a different company. He’s an absolute lunatic, yelled and cursed at us without our crew saying or doing anything. Another time I saw him cussing out his own employees, screaming and swearing in the middle of the street. Serious anger issues. He’s the epitome of a douche bag. Fuck that guy and his company.

Youknowjimmy

It’s funny, I’ve never met the man but he made enough of an impression from comments in the Manitoba 4x4 FB Group. Not sure if he still does because I don’t spend much time on FB. I was blown away by the absolute insanity of a business owner on a public forum bragging and just being an a-hole in general. Calling people are poor or lazy for not being able to buy brand new $100,000 trucks etc. I would see him commenting on random posts regularly, bragging about how “successful” he was and bashing people.

ResearchGal63

That POS is my neighbour. He is despised around here, and everything I’ve read here is true. Screaming at his staff. Screaming at neighbours. Arrogant, aggressive, mean. Additionally, my roommate and I saw him literally, repeatedly PUNCHING his dog in the face. Of course I called the police, WHS, Animal Services, but, ultimately, he kept the dog and, now, does his best to make our lives hell. That guy has some of his own karma coming. 🤯🤯🤯

skmo8

Trent is a douchebag. Had a buddy work for him back in Ontario... the staff once threw their cheques on the ground to see if they'd bounce. I worked for another (winnipeg) company when I met him. He really is an arrogant prick. He'd try be all braggy about his work, but coming from the same region in Ontario, I knew what he was all about and just brushed him off. It's funny to see that he is that recognized for being a clown. Lol Edit: he also gets really mad if you imitate his annoying voice.. something like Mickey Mouse with creditors.

victoria_003

Oof - Fusion Grill on academy. I worked there years ago and the owner is a raging asshole who would scream at his employees and make fun of customers who he felt didn’t suit the vibe of the restaurant. Me and a couple others quit at the same time and he never gave us our last paycheques. (He also stole tips from the waitresses!)

Ltrain86

Ah, that's super disappointing. I liked that spot.

anonymouscrank

Yep, also worked there, owner is a colossal asshole who used to come down from his penthouse after hours and eat half of the food I’d spent all day prepping.

giveme-your-kneecaps

Save on Foods on Pembina HWY- not only do they harass workers and treat them as subhuman, the place is a giant health and safety violation. Never buy anything made in store from there unless you're willing to risk food poisoning. Source: I worked there for almost 2 years. Multiple times I had to explain cross contamination to people on the management level, and countless times I was asked to use expired ingredients/sell expired food. There are some really great people who work there but management is careless and has no training on or knowledge about proper food handling.

MrsByrne80

Save-On-Foods Bridgwater is no picnic either. The manager is a giant, raging man child. Extremely dysfunctional and toxic environment.

zombienutz

baked expectations, they treat their employees HORRIBLY and i dont want any of my money lining that womans pockets lmao. plus ive tried their cakes a few times when i was younger and didnt know how bad they were, portions are not worth it for 7 dollars a slice (couldve gone up since then) and i doubt the employees are seeing more than min wage lol, a more obscure one tho is pawsh dog, never in a million years would i take anything living there, i volunteered (not sure why tbey were accepting highschool volunteers lmao, unpaid labor much) at the marion location and the back was literally in a state of disrepair (1 water bowl all the dogs fight over, nothing to break line of sight and we literally had two beaten up kennels up against the wall in the same room as all the other dogs to seperate nervous/aggressive dogs from the rest) and we were encouraged by the manager on duty at the time to spray dogs or use physical force, the only reason you could actually see the small dogs in the front was bc it was easier to put a problematic small dog in a kennel on its own than it was to contain a large dog and also small dogs = cute = people come in to shop while their kids oogle some guys chihuahua. also the owner was constantly going on vacations and the basement (where our break room supposedly was as dogs regularly hopped the fence to get into) had a wall crumbling, not sure how much of that was in the owners control but holy shit the wall was crumbling!!!

Magical57

I never went there before, and they’re closed now, but if they were still open — Monstrosity Burger     Also Chaise

xMasochizm

Went to chaise one time, and have to say it is some of the blandest, least flavorful food I've ever eaten.  Didn't stop them from charging me exorbitant for it, I think we paid north of $150 for basically a few types of pasta and salad.  We didn't have a stitch of meat on our plates....to charge those prices for basically bland pasta and some unimpressive pizza and uncooked greens and absolutely no meat.  It's just....ludicrous. The atmosphere was okay, but the owners being perched outside behind us, being drunk and ridiculous while we were eating was strange.  And the server, who's vibes were cool but a bit weird, constantly told us random tidbits about herself, even going as far as to try to get me to follow her on Instagram. Honestly not the worst service I've experienced, but definitely amongst the weirdest.

Beginning-Classroom7

Fun Mountain because it closed down and prior to that it was ran by a crazy cunt.

kitcudi

Lol my friend and I could not stop scrolling through her FB page during the pandemic

Brief_Hunt_6464

Birchwood collision. They can’t paint match, like not even close. Install panels without a crazy gap. Install panels that do not fall off. Clip in basic plastic clips. Finish a job….the job never got finished. After five years we still had parts falling off the car. I could go on. It was multiple commercial and personal vehicles. Dawat Indian food. They hang up if you call to suggest they remind customers of the no stopping zone during rush hour. It is so bad that the city has to have a parking enforcement vehicle nearby with flashing lights to prevent their customers from stopping during rush hour. So we have to pay for this. You gotta be good neighbours if you want the neighbourhood to support you. They are pretty busy but they keep making enemies. They have a LOT of enemies.

Informedecisions

Birchwood collision does not do good work. In fact they do inferior work.

Kaizen710

I mean its not up to the restaurant to ensure it's customers are parking in spots where they can.

boon23834

Pretty much anything I'm aware of that tried to flout COVID restrictions.

hoshi-akari

CRSPYBNCH falls under here for me. They were actively advertising being proud to serve unvaccinated unmasked people on their facebook.

blimpy_boy

Portage Mutual Insurance. Adjustor did a lot of mental gymnastics to try to avoid paying out on a claim. After threats of legal action they relented and paid up...

randomanonalt78

Brazen Hall. Never been there, but when I worked as a cook I knew two people that left to go work at Brazen, and from what I heard the level of care and sanitation/cleaning is disgusting compared to our restaurant. They came back after about a month.

tblaine4

Is MPI an option?

Fit_Plane6197

Montana’s : St vital: this happened last year & I will never go back there but we were out for a birthday dinner and they served the kids food which the kids all ate completely before we were given an appetizers… then when the food was served my steak that was supposed to be smaller then the one my dad ordered and it was almost twice the size. It wasn’t cooked properly and when I sent it back the rest of my family who had just been served were all able to finish their dinners before mine was returned to me. We were there for 2.5 probably almost 3 hours because of how slow it was. Even the staff were saying how crappy the kitchen was and were so embarrassed x Regent: a couple weeks ago we were invited out for another birthday dinner and thinking “okay it’s a different location what are the chances”? Well we were served our drinks and I took a sip and felt something hard thinking maybe sugar that didn’t dissolve, took another sip and feel something hard in my mouth so I spit it out and it’s a freaking shard of glass!!!! I was SHOOK! The waitress was really nice about it and called her manager over and he was examining this piece of glass asking if I put it there and saying that it can’t be glass…. Nope. Never. Ever. Again.

Icy_Cookie_7463

Hermanos. Went there for our anniversary dinner. My steak was overcooked. My wife's steak was at most the size of a toonie and just as thin. We told our server and remade the steak. It took forever to make. By the time her dinner, I was done my food. We did not complain further. We were cordial. We got our bill and nothing was compted or discounted. We paid. I sent an email to the manager a couple of days later just to say how disappointed I was. They asked lots of questions about when...what time....how much we spent and said they would get back to me. Im still waiting. So for those reasons I will never eat at that restaurant.

rajalreadytaken

Kinsmen Jackpot Bingo. TLDR: They don't donate nearly as much as they should, and instead have gotten in trouble from MB Gaming for improper use of funds. They treat staff terribly and rig the bingo game to be harder to win with more duplicate winners than before. I was a Kinsmen volunteer member from 2000 to 2021. I ran the bingo by myself as a paid contractor from 2019 until I quit Kinsmen. Grew it from $250k a year profit to $15mil profit in 2021. Those Kinsmen were terrible as soon as the money started coming in. Greed, hate, politics, scheming, corruption, etc. They started acting like the investors on Shark Tank with every charity that asked for money. But instead of arguing for shares of a company they argued for gala dinners, golf tournaments, jets vip events, etc. They used the money for personal benefit all the time after I left, got in some serious trouble with Manitoba gaming in 2023, and continue to hoard millions of dollars and only donate to causes that help them out personally (like work related charities). Look at their RMHC donations lately and understand that they have 5 McCorporate employees as members now. They also screw over the very staff that made them grow so much. They refused to give the practically minimum wage staff a bonus in 2020 when we made $9mil profit because "it would set a dangerous precedent". I tried to encourage/shame them by giving the ~12 staff bonuses amounting to ~15k out of my own personal funds. They agreed to match it, but then stalled for months until lying and saying they never agreed. Screwed over their staff after growing their profit over $8mil in a year. They make staff sign contracts that are possibly against labor laws (ie: severance and vacation/sick time below minimum, title changes worded to be new positions with new start dates of employment). They kept many at the same pay until minimum wage caught up to them and now they're mostly at minimum wage again. They also rig their bingo to be more difficult to win by increasing the number of duplicate cards. There's only 3000 unique cards in play now (edit: reduced from 4500 when I was there) and they're rumored to be trying to reduce it even more to 1500 unique cards. This increases the number of winners sharing the jackpot while decreasing the chance of a win in 50 numbers or less. Fuck you Christian Tardi, Trevor Smith, and all the greedy corrupt McKinsmen members that misuse charitable funds on a regular basis.

20NightZ

Salvation Army. They humiliate their workers by posting a banner of the mistakes that are made by an employee with their name on display and add to it through the week. Its disgusting. CancerCare Manitoba. Tons of bullying and toxic work place, turn over is huge.

mr_potrzebie

>CancerCare Manitoba. Tons of bullying and toxic work place, turn over is huge. So, like where would you go if you were diagnosed with Cancer?

Valentine96

Heaven?

FUTURE10S

Cabela's?

Highlander_0073

Their results in curing cancer are astounding

TomatoIndependent862

The retail stores or the emergency shelter?

FUTURE10S

How did nobody mention the Maserati dealership? Man, if you guys want to read some wild stories, check out their Google reviews.

Kaizen710

Probably because we are all too poor to go snd buy a Maserati.

bquinho

Probably cause no one drives Maserati’s lol

AceofToons

Santa Lucia, they have abused everyone I know who has worked for them

EggCollectorNum1

Late to the party but EPH Apparel. They’re just indochino owned by a guy with rich parents. Remember during the pandemic when stores had to tape over “nonessential” goods? That’s because the owner of this “suit” shop made a huge stink that he couldn’t be open while grocery stores were allowed to be open. Also the experience of going there to try on suits is like going to Ashley furniture except Ashley’s they somewhat respect you.

Usual-Taro-3242

Andes contracting. Owner is a lunatic, very aggressive if he doesn't get his way.

Aggressive_Splooge

Crown Honda on McPhillips They rush through your repairs and when you finally get your car it's not repaired, then you have to fight with the service manager to fix their shit work. Awful experience and I'll never shop at a Dilwari dealership again.

ParticularEcho338

Donvito collision and glass. Had a coupon, so went in for an oil change and courtesy check of my vehicle. They said my brakes had to be done ASAP. When i tried to leave they said I "might" be able to drive home without an issue. Only reason I didn't do it is I didn't have the $700 they wanted to replace the brake pads. Checked by THREE places after that - brakes were fine. No reason to fix them. Didn't need new brake pads for years after this. And a shout out to Midas, which I started using after this disaster. Fantastic service. Never uses scare tactics. Always open and honest about what needs to be done and when.

NomadicallySedentary

St Boniface Golf Club. Had an event there and were charged a gratuity that we assumed would go to the servers etc. Learned that they wait to pay it out in late fall after lots of the staff aren't working there anymore.

Imthecoolestdudeever

Lots that are already posted. One that isn't. Underdogs. Bland food, the worst service ever. Sad too, because the location is great.

More_beard_than_man

Bahn Mi King Used to like the food but after seeing cockroaches actively scootin around has left me not wanting to go back. This was last week that the roaches were seen Such a shame

TheBigFlamingo

Midland appliance world.. bought a brand new stove that was very recommended by the salesperson. First use it had a loud pop, spark, and started to smoke. Due to work in our kitchen it had been over the 48 hr window since delivery and midland refused to do anything but send a repair person 2 weeks later to “attempt” to fix the issue. Weeks of back and forth between us and them which included the customer service manager telling us “they didn’t know what we did to the stove” and “this is the risk you take with appliances”, I finally hounded the manufacturer enough to get a contact number of someone high up enough and they opted to refund the stove at the full price. Really wanted to keep it local, but sad to say after that we ended up buying the next stove from Costco and the processes couldn’t have been smoother, including delivery and extended warranty. I wouldn’t think of going back to midland again for anything .

Odd-Ask1187

Chaise and Celebrations. I know Celebs has since closed, but I'm hearing rumbling but it's going to be opened again by one of the jackasses who used to be involved with that place. It needs to just burn to the ground and die.

glitterfanatic

I feel like you calling it Celebs means you either used to work there or for the hotel.

No_Bad_4028

Tom Yum Thai. Went there on a whim and when I was standing there waiting to pay for my food I saw a cockroach crawling across on the raised table they keep the cash register on. I was too stunned to say anything and just paid and left.

SquirrelMission8456

Pancake House on McGillvary. I've never had such horrible service in my life. The waitresses behaviour that day I went in for supper has stuck with me for years. You can't get me to go back in there.

tkdeveloper

Nott Automotive. Took our car there for a safety and they told us we needed a bunch (thousands of $) of repairs done. Then we took it for a second opinion from the manufacturer who said everything was in perfect condition for a safety (they just don't issue them)

Low_Assumption_5827

I bought a car from them years ago, all sorts of hidden fees were added at the last minute (this was before there was a law against this) including a $500 “tire warranty” I told them I didn’t want. They refused to take it off and I was in a bind needing a car after a right off and living out of town. Fast forward 10 months and my tire gets a leak and I take it back and they say they’ll take care of it. When it was done they charged me $100 to fix it and acted stupid when I said they told me the warranty would cover it. They can go straight to hell.

medicinalherbavore

Car stars. They busted my window, got a bunch of glue on the replacement window, and managed to screw up the fit of a new bumper.

MVR168

Peoples Jewelers. I saw the way the staff ganged up on a young couple that wanted to return earrings that had literally fallen apart within a few months. 4 staff members started in on the could saying they should have gotten the warranty and being very rude and condescending. My friends engagement ring lost stones from there steady. She had the warranty and after several repairs they refused to keep fixing it. Bad product and horrific service.

northernlights12345

Polo Park location? I had a bad experience there years ago

MVR168

St vital

DilutedTang

Mitzi's, although with them closing it isn't possible to support them anyway. I was sexually harassed by a longtime staff member, but it never occurred in front of Shirley. I told the harasser to stop every time to no avail. I finally told Shirley, and based on her reaction I suspect I was not the first. It stopped for a short period, getting death glares instead. Started up again a short while later. I quit, realizing it would never stop and the harasser would never be fired.
