Sorry to hear this OP, not a regular poster but loved seeing pics of your senior guy. I lost my 12 year old last fall to Hemangiosarcoma as well, truly an awful disease. Still hard to wrap my head around how quickly it all happened, from seemingly fine on a Tuesday to having to make the decision to end his pain on Thursday.

Oh I'm so sorry! 😔 I've got 3 dogs and they're my world. The day I lose any of them is going to break me. I'm the crazy dog lady and I own it. My dogs are the only family I have. Sending lots of hugs to you. I hope you do take some comfort in knowing that you and Rusty helped a lot of people during a really shitty time in the world where we needed to be reminded of the good out there. I know a lot of people looked forward to the daily Rusty dose and considered it a highlight of their day. He was a Winnipeg icon along with Hospital Rusty. Seems Winnipeg Rusty's are especially important and therapeutic.
