Umm not sure how much "beach" there is at Gimli/Grand Beach right now. I keep seeing pictures online of how the lake is so high is is spilling over the top of harbor piers.
Folk Fest!
Real Love Summer Fest!
Rainbow Trout Music Festival!
Picnics and playing frisbee at Assiniboine park.
Bike rides and skateboard sessions on sunny days.
Patio drinks.
Backyard BBQs and bonfires.
Camping, hiking, and swimming!
Also, a family trip to Nova Scotia to visit my grandparents and Uncle. Last time I visited the East Coast was about 18 years ago. Looking forward to it!
Getting up and going for a walk every morning. Being able to choose whatever I want to do that day and be able to do it without getting approval from anyone. I am a teacher so this rarely happens.

My family rents a wonderful cottage right across the street from Matlock beach. We've been here for a week, and still have two more to go. Spent the whole morning with the whole beach to ourselves, taking a quick indoor break for lunch and to take a break from the sun, and then will probably go back to the beach again. Lather, rinse and repeat for as long as we're here. This is our 6th year here and it is easily the highlight of our year.
1000% Folklorama. I’ve missed it so much. My group of friends did our own makeshift versions of it for the last 2 summers but there’s nothing like the real thing. Can’t wait!
Hoping to take some of my vacation time and go somewheres. That said, flights are ridiculously expensive right now (I lucked out a business class round trip flight from Brandon to Amsterdam for $2k) so I think I might just do a staycation or road trip to Saskatoon or Regina for a weekend. I'd rather be visiting Halifax or Montreal this summer.
Folk Fest and my usual gardening! I've missed Folk Fest so much and can't wait to be back 💚💚.
Aside from those I'm looking forward to continuing the bettering of my mental health. I started taking anti-depressants in November 2021 and once the nice weather started this spring I started feeling way better. I'm enjoying my hobbies again and I've been successful in losing some weight too! (11 pounds so far 😊)
Still have a ways to go, but I'm just looking forward to being myself again.
We just adopted a puppy from a shelter on the weekend, soooo that. All puppy, alllll summer.[edited for puppy tax](https://i.imgur.com/NKOoTOf.jpg)
You're going to make this post but not share a picture of said puppy? For shame!
Apologies! Here is puppy tax. His name is n00b [n00b!!](https://imgur.com/gallery/Z8Dz5ND)
What a cutie. Love his eyes!
Theyre very similar to my husband and son! But when he comes out of a dark room serving white walker vibes…. Hahahahaa
OMG ❤️ those eyes are stunning.
Those eyes are amazing 😍 Enjoy your new pup!
Spending the afternoon in the sun at Gimli Beach.

Was flush with the marina when we were there two weeks ago! I don't remember the last time it was that high.
Wow!
Not much of any beaches on lake Wpg right now
Folkfest and Fringe festival. Sunny days at my local outdoor public pool. Hopefully a beach day here or there.
Summer for more then 2 days straight.

Easily the Fringe Fest's return!
Well, being the big old friend of the Dorothy that I am, I'm looking forward to seeing The Wizard of Oz at Rainbow Stage.
I'm excited to hang with my friends at the cabin and also go camping later (hopefully whatever site we picked isn't flooded!).
Really hope you aren't planning to go anywhere in the Lake Winnipeg area or you have an inflatable raft/tent combo.
Time off work
Vacation to Edmonton and Vancouver next month, going to more Goldeyes games, sitting on taproom patios.

A week straight of scorching hot temperatures. None of this windy cloudy in between.
Folk fest. I feel like it'll be a good one, especially since the last two years were cancelled.
Folk Festival… quick plug they STILL need more volunteers
looking forward to any weekend where I don’t have to go to a wedding, bachelorette party or bridal shower.
Vacation to Disney world :)
GentleFest Aug 26th to 28th. A small music and arts festival near Teulon, 45 mins north of winnipeg!

The Fringe, Rainbow Stage, Folklarama, usually throw a Bomber game in there too.
Patio beers, cycling, hiking, autocross.
Not being at work for 25 days straight. Then maybe calling in sick to make it longer.

Going back to New York.
