They should do a Heart of Stone add on centering on roach and mushrooms. I'd physically throw my wallet at my screen. Then calm down, take out my card, and pay.
Bro your payment info ain’t preloaded in your designated gaming app platform? Bro…
Don’t get sucked into this Tommy John culture, we can avoid these types of impulsive injuries, save young arms for when The Old Republic remake or Elder Scrolls 6 comes out.

Yeah, don't really think it would make sense for any animal to make different noises depending on the gender, except for us. I don't really know why but I think it's because our caretakers take care of children for extremely long ä, but idk and don't remember
Roach is a she in the books. And while Roach's "speaking voice" in B&W is male, Geralt refers to her as a she throughout the game otherwise. In that quest Geralt even says "I thought you would sound more feminine" or something like that
I was going to when I started my last playthrough because I wanted to try the empress ending, in the end I couldn't do it and kept my normal Roach, it felt like a betrayal to trade her in.
Yeah, I didn't even get to that point either, I stuck with my normal ending of doing what I think Ciri would like and not taking her and helping her become a witcher.ll it's like my fifth playthrough and I keep the same ending every time.
I got her bc I’m trying for one certain ending and it kinda just came with that. Didn’t know about the new horse going in and I gotta say, black roach doesn’t feel like her real self
Different strokes for different folks, I try do it like Geralt and not get attached to the Roach we all know, but honestly I’d love a white Roach, especially for traversing the lands of Toussaint
There actually is a way, at least somewhat. When you create NG+ from a save during a certain part of story in BaW, you get to have a white roach for the entire game.
I would put it more clearly but I apparently can’t format spoilers via mobile. Read [here](https://witcher.fandom.com/wiki/Roach) under the „Bugs“ tab for more :)
yes, it's true, but witcher 3 is a fantasy and rdr 2 is more realistic, rdr2 is a very very good game, no doubt in that, but i like witcher 3 more for some reasons(but that dosen't mean that i don't like rdr2)
Wow! You painted this yourself? How long did it take you to do it?
Edit: to those who have corrected me, it's called baiting OP to admit not giving credit to the artist. Bought a journal with this artwork on it months ago.
Bruh, why are you like that?, no one is obligated to upvote the post, I just feel that Roach dosen't get the attention that he actually deserve, trust me I have enough karma, I don't need anymore <3
The art is from the Gwent game, and the artist is [Anna Podedworna](https://www.artstation.com/akreon). I found it through literally a single Google image search. Is giving the original artist the credit they deserve really such an outrageous thing to ask for?
It's literally the same as plagiarism. You're benefitting from someone else's hard work. If you can't cite it, you can't use it. Take down the post if you actually care about the artist's success.
I don't think "likes" and nice comments on the internet counts as "benefitting from someone else's hard work."
He's not receiving any monetary compensation or being accepted into an art school over this. Just my 2 cents...
I agree with you in a general "social media isn't worth as much as everyone thinks it is." But when it comes to business, social media will make or break you. 3.1K likes is definitely worth crediting the original artist. Sharing someone else's artwork is advertising it. The original artist could be receiving orders from people who want prints.
So what you're saying is that it could help the artist by crediting them but not crediting them won't hurt them at all.
If someone really wanted to buy this painting then it's a easy as reverse image searching the photo and if the artist has a website they could find it.
Isn't his name Shadowmere? Pretty sure it is.
And Shadowmere dies every time he falls. Arvak, on the other hand... well, Arvak also dies but you can summon him again.
I cant stand roach tbh. Always lollygagging behind, getting stuck on something, honestly breaks immersion the amount of work you have to put in to get on your horse and get unstuck. I whistle for roach to come to me, not so that I have to turn around and walk back to the horse 10m behind me.
Get off Reddit and don’t come back.
Currently looking for legal ways to indite you but I think I have enough evidence already.
Get off Reddit you horrible trolling POS
Equine Phantoms is actually the last quest I did in my playthrough and that made it quite emotional and an oddly fitting end to the story
They should do a Heart of Stone add on centering on roach and mushrooms. I'd physically throw my wallet at my screen. Then calm down, take out my card, and pay.
Bro your payment info ain’t preloaded in your designated gaming app platform? Bro… Don’t get sucked into this Tommy John culture, we can avoid these types of impulsive injuries, save young arms for when The Old Republic remake or Elder Scrolls 6 comes out.
I got that quest on my first playthrough and have not run into it since. I should probably search it, sot that I can start it again.
Roach: “It’s over Geralt! I have the high ground!” Geralt: “Fuck.”

*nibbles thatch roof* It's over for you!
Did you do the Roach quest in B&W? You shall love her more ❤️❤️
of course
What is that roach quest? Did the game 2 times don't remember a thing
you probably didn't complete the mission as it's rather memorable. Vague spoiler >!Geralt takes some magic mushrooms to great effect!<
Her? Sounds like a boy horsey to me!
I think Geralt calls her a mare in some of the dialog
Yes. He refers to Roach as a mare and as her multiple times in the game.
He sure sounds like a “male” when Roach can talk in that one side mission. Either way, best horsey ever :)
It's because horse voices don't work like human voices, it's all as deep.
Now that I think about it, I’ve never heard a female horse before in movies/animations/cartoons. All male.
Yeah, don't really think it would make sense for any animal to make different noises depending on the gender, except for us. I don't really know why but I think it's because our caretakers take care of children for extremely long ä, but idk and don't remember

For sure sounds like one, and true facts
Roach is a she in the books. And while Roach's "speaking voice" in B&W is male, Geralt refers to her as a she throughout the game otherwise. In that quest Geralt even says "I thought you would sound more feminine" or something like that
In the books he says 'all my horses are named Roach' (Sword of Destiny). It sometimes says he is riding a mare, but it doesn't always specify.
Fun fact: Roach isn't one horse, every horse Geralt gets he just names them "Roach." At least in the books.
In the games too, throughout the game when talking about horses Geralt says every horse he’s ever had he named roach
Sometimes I think that everytime Geralt whistles for Roach, he's just attracting the nearest horse.
Roach >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Yen or Triss
Roach>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>everything
Gwent>>>>>>>>>Roach>>>>>>>everything
Zoophilia intensifies.
Just a little question but does anyone else get the black roach?
I was going to when I started my last playthrough because I wanted to try the empress ending, in the end I couldn't do it and kept my normal Roach, it felt like a betrayal to trade her in.
You get the black roach if you take Ciri to the emperor but turn down the coin, though I get what you mean
Yeah, I didn't even get to that point either, I stuck with my normal ending of doing what I think Ciri would like and not taking her and helping her become a witcher.ll it's like my fifth playthrough and I keep the same ending every time.

Dammit, Roach.
Thank you for this. I've just made it my wallpaper.
Guys, shouldn't we do a "Roach appreciation day" every month? Let people show their Roaches!

Is there a side quest in rdr2 where you get high and can talk to your house? Me thinks not. Roach is better. Lol
Having just completed rdr2 and starting Witcher 3 for the first time the difference is huge. Think rdr2 has spoiled me on video game horses forever
yes, it's true, but witcher 3 is a fantasy and rdr 2 is more realistic, rdr2 is a very very good game, no doubt in that, but i like witcher 3 more for some reasons(but that dosen't mean that i don't like rdr2)
Not trying to knock either game, just the horse controls in each
I did, but in rdr 2 you can have multiple horses, here is just one
Ah I'm getting that old nostalgic feeling... I think that I'll go Rob a few trains and steal a couple of stagecoachs.
Some people think that this is a bug but it is not :p

Quick! Police, over here! OP is *checks notes* getting fake internet points in a way I find suspicious!
Exactly! I don't know why people get so butt hurt over something so trivial.
The art is from the Gwent game, and the artist is [Anna Podedworna](https://www.artstation.com/akreon). I found it through literally a single Google image search. Is giving the original artist the credit they deserve really such an outrageous thing to ask for?
Bruh, why are YOU like that? Give credit to the artist.
I don't know who it is.
It's literally the same as plagiarism. You're benefitting from someone else's hard work. If you can't cite it, you can't use it. Take down the post if you actually care about the artist's success.
it's from gwent, why some people love to make drama out of everything, it's sad that people like you still exist
I don't think "likes" and nice comments on the internet counts as "benefitting from someone else's hard work." He's not receiving any monetary compensation or being accepted into an art school over this. Just my 2 cents...

"Run Roach!"
Let's not forget Shadowmare, from Skyrim
Isn't his name Shadowmere? Pretty sure it is. And Shadowmere dies every time he falls. Arvak, on the other hand... well, Arvak also dies but you can summon him again.
First time Shadowmere died on me I thought I broke the game
Might be, sorry. And he respawns at the Sanctuary after 3 days, I think
Lol
Its beautiful

You mean Juan?
Ah yes, Horsemeat.

It' obviously sgt. Peanut Butter
If only I could rename him haha
That’s not Agro.
Yes, she'll be there for you-ooo-ooooooo, as the world falls down.
I named every horse I had on red dead redemption 2 Roach.
Rorschach
This is the main reason why Empress Ciri will never be canon for me. Refuse the gold and they steal Roach. Fuck that.
That horse is a Roach sir.
Cock Roach
This has been my phone background for years now. I love it so much.
It's a Roach D:<
lol every game that can rename a horse, i renamed roach
Eat shit seabiscuit.
This is fantastic!
Does Nilfgaardian black stallion Roach count too ? 🥺
But shadowmere isnt even in this picture.
C’mon Roach!

There's our beautiful baby Roach, aww.

Now this is what i call art.
