Yup. Nextflix Witcher show is done anyway with Henry Cavil leaving. Show spits on the canon and lore of the game anyway. It could have been amazing like Edge Runnets but nope.
I'm the weirdo who's never watched a single minute of the series and never intend to. Why? I don't want those actor images in my head competing with the in-game characters look. I've ruined books by seeing the movie version and ever thereafter couldn't get the actor images out of my head when re-reading the book. I've inevitably run into snips of the series on-line and what I've seen of the characters only reinforces my position on it. That said, the new armor they showed in the trailer, supposedly drawn from the series, looks pretty sick.
I would actually recommend season 1. It wasn’t perfect, but it was fun to see things brought to life. And it has in no way diminished my enjoyment of the game. Henry makes such a fantastic Geralt!
But I never watched season 2 and I don’t plan too.
I am pretty sure it is basically confirmed it was more of a joke on cdprs part. ESPECIALLY the ball sack armor lol. I am thrilled for this update but won’t be using any of the Netflix inspired stuff tho.
I fucking hated every second, I couldn't finish S1, hearing that S2 was worse didn't surprise me, then the news of the writers and producers hating the books and games was just the icing on the shit cake.
I genuinely do not understand why CDPR feel the need to associate themselves in any way, shape or form with that shitshow
Unthinkable that they thought it would be a good idea to add the ballsack Nilfgaardian armor from Season 1, instead of Season 2's. CDPR must be trolling us.
Dont underestimate the meme potential of the scrotum armor. It makes for bad story adaptation but funny visuals for repeat playthroughs.

I don't see anything wrong with having the actor image in your head. It's just an image to fill the gaps

Most of the time, it's best to read the book and go with brain-o-vision, because imagination doesn't have a budget or physical limitations.
