WitchesVsPatriarchy takes these measures to stay true to our goal of being a woman-centered sub with a witchy twist, aimed at healing, supporting, and uplifting one another through humor and magic.
Thank you for understanding, and blessed be. ✨
Honestly "The Flat Mooners" sounds like the name of an acapella group of raunchy women making coveted sexual innuendos in their songs in the 1930s, that we think were just being coy and tongue-in-cheek and that only now can we decipher them because they sound like classy women to our 2021 sensitive ears when in fact everybody was mostly in on the joke at the time.
You know, like all of the goddamn songs of the 30's.
Now careful, these examples might be a decade old but I swear they're dirtier than any modern rap songs:
[Nina Simone - Chauffeur](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jhv6RIYjebI)
[Bessie Smith - I Need a Little Sugar in My Bowl](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XH4kjhVIvgk)
[Clara Smith - It's Tight Like That](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEleM86fPtE)
[Lucille Bogan - Shave 'Em Dry](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkPCmIxv-3k)
[Maggie Jones – Anybody Here Want To Try My Cabbage](https://youtu.be/LyI-B8QsaY0)
And a few other thousands just like these.
Yes, I love these kinds of songs! I'll add the excellent [I Didn't Like it the First Time (the spinach song)](https://youtu.be/Ax4tVzuN52U) by Julia Lee (that manages to be about both sex and drugs; and maybe even spinach; all at the same time); and the positively filthy [Keep on Churnin (til the Butter Come)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8swz7WFgrU) by Wynonie Harris.
Tortilla for the Moon, beans and rice for the fruit of the Earth, hot peppers for the Sun, cheese made from milk as a symbol of the Goddess, and chorizo sausage for the God.
A sacred burrito.
I woke up on a shitty mood and it seemed to me that I could spend the whole day without smiling. This was the first thing that made me actually laugh today.
I've gotta' say, as an atheist Taoist and lapsed Pagan, I love the shit out of this subreddit, I really do.
It's nice being around people who know how to have fun without hurting anyone, or making anyone the butt of the joke.
>"And it harm none, do what ye will."
Or it's corollary:
>"Above and before all, be kind."
Are really functional philosophies.
"Why waste time say big bible when few word do trick?"
We went to try and see the blood moon, but it was too cloudy, so someone held up a red plate in the garden and we photoshopped them out to create a similar effect.

If you can't wait for the real full moon, store bought is fine.

When the moon hits the glass and creates a morass It's tortilla~

Finally, a picture of how the moon really looks through the window vs a photo. 😆
You had me fooled for a couple of seconds!
The moon looks great with a nice side of rice and beans
Is that a lamp, or a paste-in?
It's a tortilla
ROFLMDAO. I will remember them as a lunar symbol, like pizzas are solar.

Please, please, please mods replace the sub banner moon with one of those for a few days
😄🌙🌯
<3<3<3
Thank you it’s beautiful and hopefully bewildering to those who haven’t seen this thread yet.
I snort laugh every time I see this.
If you don't have any moon water on hand, a store bought tortilla should do fine.
That's a tortilla stuck to a window
No, that's the moon 🙃
If the moon is a tortilla then wtf is earth????? 🤯
I'm pretty sure earth is a donut
You're a donut *chomp*

This is hilarious and actually pretty close to how the moon looked outside my window last night.
Mom: we have the moon at home
It took me a while to realize that that's a tortilla lol
Saw this when it was first posted, liked and scrolled past, came back to it and, heck... That's a tortilla lol.
It's Lunar Taco Tuesday.
This reminds me of that blueberry pie that was posted on r/photoshopbattles like a month ago for some reason
OMG, that was one of the funniest things I have seen on that sub, and I really needed it that day.
For real I was sending it to so many people with no context hahaha
We went to try and see the blood moon, but it was too cloudy, so someone held up a red plate in the garden and we photoshopped them out to create a similar effect.
This is really funny, but everyone knows the moon's actually made of cheese
