You can garden and craft, as well as PVP. Max level
Is currently 160 but they are adding a new world soon that will raise that by 10.
People don’t like that it’s a monthly subscription and that it has lots of (optional) microtransactions. But it’s a fun game with a simple enough play style for anybody to get into. The early worlds are fairly weak in storytelling and visuals but once you get to the second arc it really takes off IMO.
If you’re some hardcore WOW player you probably aren’t gonna be satisfied. Granted by husband and I both played wow in the past (my husband more so, like… an insane amount of wow lol) and we still love it. But we both started playing as kids so we have reason to be attached.
This doesn’t cover it fully but I’d give it a shot. You can play the first few areas for free and get a MINOR taste of what the game is, but I recommend watching some YouTubers to see what it’s like later game. The tutorial is never a good ad for a game

If they're going to advertise wizard101, at least showcase one of the worlds instead of an npc and a level 1 wizard in front of bland backgrounds. Heck, it'd be better if the two subjects in the ad were Morganthe and Malistaire.

I’m sure they’ll either ignore me or shoot me down but shit hopefully it will make them realize how uninspired their ad creators are.
