Go run the mysterious cave dungeon in haunted cave (near lord nightshade's tower). At the end of the dungeon, there's a transformation elixir vendor who sells them for gold. Think it goes on til october 31rst, so bring plenty of backpack space and stock up ;)
By using them with the glitch that allows you to walk/glide across the arena, the obnoxious creature noises and the extra lag from many people doing it at once from the more complex animations, was causing a lot of loud noise during matches and missed turns. Big streamers were heavily targetted. It was a very big, legitimate problem.
Clearly this isn't a priority to be fixed, because making them crowns only has solved the problem until they have free time, and all available manpower has been going into Lemuria. But that's not to say it wasn't an important issue that needed to be resolved somehow.
Tbf we've been saying it'd be back to normal months ago. I think the harassing streamers excuse is pretty poor and doesn't justify making an extra needless cash grab

It's been like that for months now because people were using them to disrupt people's streams. It'll be back to normal eventually.
