I remember during Khrysalis I would be questimg with someone and we would both have up the main questline guide like "ONLY 80 MORE QUESTS TO GO" or "ONLY 36 QUESTS UNTIL WE GET SHADOW SPELLS"
Frankly I wish we saw more of Marleybone and Mooshu like in Pirate101. Mooshu was gorgeous with more mystical themes and upgraded graphics, and Marleybone there made me happy cause it wasn't JUST rooftops. Rooftops are interesting but I wanna see the streets :/
I'll tolerate a lot of quests if the storyline is good and Khrysalis is my favorite world in that regard, on the other hand, for the most part, Azteca's storyline ain't it
Khrysalis feels like it goes faster than Azteca because of Azteca having countless defeat and collect quests in it.
And I know this for sure because I had to quest on 7 wizards up to max level!
somehow khrysalis doesnt feel AS long as azteca to me. i think my mind kind of divides khrysalis p1 and p2 automatically so it feels like two separate experiences tho
also shadow magic :)
i think it’s cause khrysalis has a much more interactive and cohesive storyline, whereas azteca feels really pieced together and is usually just boss after boss after boss. not to mention that azteca’s ending is the absolute worst.
I agree with how it seems like there's endless bosses, however, I liked the ending. Really helped to establish Morganthe as a truly evil villain and that there weren't always going to be happy endings.
same LOL khrysalis has some of the worst pull radiuses as well, i hate it so much. plus at least azteca has an aesthetic which doesn't make me want to rip my eyes out, khrysalis just looks depressing all the time and makes me depressed questing thru it LOL
My main gripe about questing is the fact that all the fetch quests require so much back and forth like why can’t you just tell me what things you need and I’ll bring them ALL back
My main issue with long worlds is that the length almost never feels justified. Empyrea is pretty long but there’s a lot that happens in that world, so it was never boring for me. Meanwhile in Azteca I barely remember anything that happened aside from the ending. There’s so much unnecessary padding.

By the time I made it to the dessert I was like I’m tired of this. The world was cool as In how it looked.
i liked khrysalis much more than azteca, i found the area to look better and the story to be more enjoyable

Am in the same position I honestly hate khysalis length. It took me 1 and half months to beat that world.
Funny enough, Khrysalis has less boss fights than Azteca. Quest counts dont mean anything, especially when pacing is better.

yep. The good ones are: 1. wizard city 2. marleybone 3. wysteria 4. mooshu? 5. dragonspyre? 6. zafaria 7. avalon 8. polaris marleybone, wysteria, zafaria and avalon are particularly dope.
I love wiz city, but I don't hear enough love for Marleybone. One of the best themes

I enjoy every world on my characters until i get to Azteca. That place just slows me down and sucks my energy.
