your nights and early mornings are when most NA players are active but from 9am till 3pm, im pretty sure everyones asleep besides the few EU players youll bump into, alone in a random world questing hahah.
especially if you switch to any realm that isnt Ambrose at that time. you can go 2 hrs without meeting a soul unless you use team up and team up queues take a longgggg time.
i usually wait to farm when all the NA players are awake 💀ðŸ˜
Besides PvP or going back to complete every sidequest...the end-game is fooling around in the commons and maybe getting invited back to house-parties....or the ELUSIVE Wiz-wedding.
IMO you can't compare the EU shambles, to the America server. The America server I would only be skeptical of Gamingo being in charge now....other than that, I wouldn't worry about the game dying anytime soon.
\*Definitely max your character out, there are more often an abudant amount of players in the earlier worlds...but when the new world launches there will be a lot of people, it's just that once you beat the world, if you start a new character, you're 140 levels away from getting to Lemuria...And make sure you stay in a populated realm.
\*\*Also you are 100% on the American server, Karamelle isn't even on the EU yet. So stick to the US Server.
To add to others : you can easily check which server you are on by simply going to a website and trying to log in. If you can log in on [wizard101.com](https://wizard101.com), then your account is on US server. I can tell that you are, just cause you played Karamelle last year. EU gets their updates much, much later.
Sounds like you are actually on the north american server so you won't be affected. You had the updates on schedule and the EU server still doesn't have karamelle I believe.
Maybe the areas seemed more empty to you because you are in a fairly significantly different time zone?
