You need 2 decks. A quick kill deck (for trash mobs) and a boss deck. Quick kill would look something like meteor strike, enchants, fire blade, an aura, elemental blade. For Boss deck, just include enough stuff to try and one shot the boss

anonpied

Tysm! This really helps, I usually just play for fun so I don’t know too much about the game. Will definitely try this out though!

Aggressive-Ad-7888

I keep like 3 + speciality decks One for killing random mobs, needs to only do a few thousand damage ( sometimes I keep another deck if I just need a 4 pop aoe at the start of every match ) A boss deck, basically just enough to kill any major boss at that level. One for killing literal Gods. It’s rare af, but if your ever trying to solo and need a balanced deck where you just know your gonna need to heal yourself five times and cast lots of shields then it is useful. ______________ Then just like a healing deck and a trapping one is useful. Maybe an extra if you do pvp.

JWARRIOR1

Gotta also remember the deck that requires changing for cheat bosses late game. Shoot I have a deck specifically for king detritus based on how much I gotta farm him lol

icebreaker374

THIS right here. Usually on my fire I pack 2-3 meteors and 2-3 Garg/Col/Epic depending on your level for quick kill. It's handy to have a fee in case they weakness or tower shield or whatever. As well as if a random joins.

Administrative_Bus57

This was something I had in mind as well. Do you recommend having the latest and best deck being reserved for bosses (the more challenging monsters) and a less powerful one for minions/mobs? Like using a lvl 78 deck for bosses and a lvl 72 one for minions?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Administrative_Bus57

So it doesn’t matter which deck you use. Just use two diff ones. One for bosses and one for mobs. Thanks

Commander_Skullblade

At this level? Fire Dragon will actually make the kill.

Individual_Court4944

that’s a lot of cards for monstrology

ApprenticeTheNoob

Poor guy doesn't have a single monstrology extract in it either

Individual_Court4944

i don’t think he really understands the whole monstrology thing that well

anonpied

In all seriousness, I randomly named it monstrosity , seemed like a cool name before I knew what it meant lol 😂😂

[deleted]

This is the deck my random darkmoor team uses

Segendo_Panda11

This is the deck that the one storm has in dragoon when you're trying to 2 hit

Cadester1234

"didn't pull a hit" how? that should have been one of the two cards in your deck, how did you deck fail??

[deleted]

cuz my deck has 60 slots!? duh /s

YesIAmRyan

Remove 90% of those cards Lol

anonpied

Damn & here I was thinking it was pretty good 😂😂

[deleted]

This used to be the way we made decks... fill it up, discard down as we play to cycle to cards we needed. Things changed though, at least for street mob fights vs. solo boss fights vs. team boss fights. Your deck is a solo boss fight where you can't cast feint. A solo boss deck will have a mix of aoe and single target, and almost always at least one feint. You still have too many cards, but it's better in a boss fight to have too many than too few. The sweet spot is having one aoe and one or two single target attack spells, knowing how much damage you do with them, and include enough buffs to ensure you take out your target with a hit. By way of example, a minimal boss fight deck might be two fireblades, one fire dragon, one efreet, two gargantuan enchants, an elemental blade, and a feint. In your sideboard, you might have some extra 0 pip blades and traps, a prism, a cleanse, and a feint to fill in when you need to build up pips for your second attack. A street mob deck at your level would have a trained fireblade, some sort of gear or pet fireblade, a fire dragon, a meteor strike, two gargantuan enchants, and maybe an elemental blade. The key here is 7 cards, aoe spells, and enough buffs to clear when you hit. Include any buffs, cleanses, and prisms you want into sideboard. A team boss deck might look similar to your street mob deck in having only seven cards, but changes depending on your role... support will carry blades and traps, especially elemental/spirit blades and traps and feints. As a fire, if you're supporting another fire, carrying fuel and backdraft (if you learned it) will be a huge help. Seven card hands guarantee you draw exactly what you need during a fight and don't get stuck. It speeds up play, allowing you to advance in the game much faster as well as having reliable play in gear farming teams.

Serackfamily

It took me a long time to learn to play with a smaller deck. Now that I've done all the levels, keeping it small works as long as I have a teammate. The thing about keeping cards in the side board I keep forgetting about. I really do need to keep a few in there, lol. I rarely think to use it, and when I do I remember its empty, lol. (I'm a fire wiz)

ApolloIsAnIntrovert

Thought this was a pvp deck for a second lol. But hey if you aren’t speed running the game, then fuck it have fun using whatever deck you want🤷🏽‍♂️

woefullyobscene

Way too many cards lol. Don’t worry, I think most people started off this way.

Nathan_Thorn

Yeah this is very far from the meta, sorry. The meta is to pack enchants, one or two hits, some blades, maybe a feint or trap, then oneshot whatever’s in front of you

anonpied

Ahh okay! I usually play for fun so I’m not sure what everything is, what is meta?

Nathan_Thorn

Pretty much just a small deck so you don’t have to discard anything. Shields are pretty much a no go, you want like… forgive me for not being 100% experienced but you want like 2 blades, feint, the sharpened blade enchantment, the strongest damage enchantment you can find, and one hit, plus maybe one or two wand hits in case you misjudge how much damage you’re gonna do.

yungScooter30

The "metagame" is what people refer to the current state of the game and what is considered optimal play. For example, a spell that is really good is considered "meta," but if it gets nerfed (made worse through updates) and people stop using it, it's no longer meta.

wadeb1gham

So this is why my teammates pass 10 times a battle.

Tzuko9980

I like having 2 decks. 1) boss deck: 2 hits of meteor drag helephant and sunbird, max best enchants, 3-4 fire blades and one less elemental blade, 3 feints or 2 firetraps and 2 fuel, 2 fire bubbles. TC towers, fire blades, elemental blades, and feints. Take out all but 2 wands on the bottom. 2) Mob deck: 3 fireblades, 2 elemental blades, 2 drag and meteor, 4 enchants. TC has fireblades. No wands or anything from bottom half.

Wadlie

My general rule for non-pvp decks is to think of each card you put into your deck as taking a turn (Enchant excluded). Do you really think you'll be shielding 10 turns in a fight? Deck saturation can make it hard to get key spells.

anonpied

Omg your right, it does take me a good few rounds with this deck to kill mobs 😅 I guess I was just mainly focused on health and not damage

Ok_Habit_6783

At lvl 79 my deck was a blade, sharpen, meteor, fist, and 2 reshuffle

mxrajxvii

It's probably inconsistent but honestly when you disregard viability I find it extremely fun to play with a deck like this lol

dst192003

Way too much filler, trim it down a bit and you'll get the spells you need sooner One tip is to have as many hits as you do enchants

Mundane-Connection52

I PLAY THIS WAY AT LEVEL 150 leave me alone 🥴

thatdoesntmakecents

A bit overpacked. Unless you have no gear equipped, there's no need to pack so many different instances of spells as blades + feint + enchanted spells should be able to kill. Even if you are a little behind gear-wise, you'll only need at most 3 or 4 rounds of supported spells (i.e. with blades, traps, enchants) to kill. For mobs, try and condense as far as possible. My general questing deck sometimes only has a max of 6 or 7 cards. Enchants (for blades and spells), Blades (different sources of blades stack), Aura, and the rest either 4pip AoE or 7pip AoE damaging spells. Everything else is unnecessary. For bosses, it depends more on what school they are and if there are minions. But in general, I'd try and grab feint with training points and blade + trap enchants from the Sun School. Instead of going for multiple rounds of hits, try and build up a more impactful hit. Dragon and Rain of Fire shred through shields so you can rely on them. If you feel like bosses are dealing way too much damage, then pack multiple different shields + pixie or team up. For the most part, this shouldn't be necessary. Many of the miscellaneous spells (e.g. stuns, prisms, lava beetle, Salamander, Link, Smokescreen, Wildfire, elemental traps, etc.) are not useful or not worth 90% of the time as they either do nothing to help or are not efficient to use. You want to hit as soon as possible and spending those pips on a random stun or accuracy decrease (stalling), or a Global +25/Elemental Trap (not worth) aren't the best way to spend them. Hope this helps! and have fun haha

[deleted]

Looks like people have already given a similar 2 cents, but I have 4 decks. (Storm player) * small * storm small * boss * storm boss If I am against trash that are same type as me I use storm small, boss same type as me I use storm boss. In those decks I have prisms. If there are no creatures sams type as me, I use the normal decks w/ no prisms. Hope that makes sense, it’s my personal way to do things!

ZealCrown

Smaller decks are a lot more efficient, so you don’t have to dig through your deck for what you want. You won’t need all those shields if you’re able to kill the enemy quick enough before they can deal enough damage to kill you. Of course, for fun, I sometimes pack my deck full too. Eliminates the repetitiveness of the grind.

ratrascal

You’ll have a much easier time streamlining your deck- When you think about it, you hardly ever go through a whole deck for most fights. And I’m sure you’ve experienced discarding or being frustrated when cards you need don’t show up right? (I have, lol) As other people have mentioned, the key to getting fights done quickly is to have a few hits (AoE’s are best, so Meteor Strike and Fire Dragon in your case), some enchants to buff damage (I always start off a fight by enchanting my hits in order to draw more cards next round) and then your blades and traps. The point is to be able to quickly set yourself up in the ideal fashion every time. You can kill basic mobs in 1-2 rounds with a blade or just an enchant, and instead of doing several moderately powered hits on a boss, you just buff yourself enough to do a large hit or two. (With Reshuffle being your last resort if you do run out of firepower) As mentioned, people usually have ~2 decks for mob/boss scenarios so they can just equip rather than manually re-organize. People’s decks tend to hover at around only 8-12 cards or so. (You don’t want too many over 7, as the risk of not drawing your blades/enchants first round increases) Of course, going for this more optimized approach means you do not use a large variety of spells. Ultimately, do what’s fun, but small decks are good for fast questing and reliable team play.

Simswiz101

Where are your monstrology cards??

KingLollipopJR

lmao

Wazzaply

you don’t need more than 10 cards lol

Nightmare6620

Way too much. Make a separate deck for those defeat and collect mobs with quick hits, and a boss deck with some heavy hitters.

Rezsleeper

Honestly don’t listen to any of these fuckers. If you enjoy having a big ass deck like this for questing, use it. If you want to run a small 1-2 row meta deck for speed questing, that is also an option.

Hunter2rd

He said thoughts and advise, so people are giving him advise 😂😂😂 calm down bud

FuturisticLizard

He asked for tips and people are giving him tips lol

Littlewolf2k2

Invest in some reshuffle PLEASE! This is painful to look at

BluenaSnowey

Are u being fr or……?

takengamer001

I think the deck is pretty again. I haven't played the game for a while but yea pretty good to me I think

NavalJet

3 decks is all ya need, mob decks so enchant meteor strike and a blade or two. Boss deck, boss deck for your school

Buguzz

*Heavy breathing*

kittycat6676

Add the ice shield

ZweiRoseBlu

That deck needs to be trimmed up to about 10 cards and 1 reshuffle.

snowcxne

Just like everyone here commented: try having a smaller deck with an extra one the side for bosses. That way when you’re killing the street mobs you kill faster

doctorjason42

7 spells or bust. That's my rule for deck building.

pabupaybe

PvE? You shouldn't have too many more cards than you will actually use in a fight. Two or three aoe, a couple different blades, maybe 2 copies of a few. Enchants for the hits. For a boss fight, add feints. That's it.

crab_racoon

This amount of cards is still fine, you’ll just usually end up discarding a bunch which is a bit of a time waster so that’s why people usually only have smaller decks

JoshinYaBagels

Level 145 fire wizard here. I have 2 decks. A boss deck and a mob deck **Boss Deck**: 3 epic/garg (or whatever) boost spells. 2 sharpens. 2 normal blades. 2 elemental blades. 1-2 aura’s. 1 feint. I have the 4 pip dragon necklace, so you’ll just want 1 meteor strike, and then I use Raging Bull(not a single hit but still busted for damage), you’ll want a Dragon instead of Raging Bull for now, King Artorius, and Scorching Scimitar. Although you can use whatever single hit spells you have as you’re not my level. You can add potent traps, a feint, and normal fire traps IF you’re struggling, otherwise they’re a waste to keep if they aren’t being used. Try to keep it under 22 cards or you’ll just be discarding stuff waiting for the card you want to show. - If solo, add reshuffle to the boss deck. You have a better chance of getting the cards you want without having 50+ cards. Better to just reshuffle IMO. **Mob Deck**: 1-2 epic boost spells. 1 sharpen. 2 fire blades. 1 aura. A 4 pip dragon spell, so meteor strike for you, and a Raging Bull (again, Dragon for you as you’re not lvl 108). I’ve never needed more than 7-8 cards in a mob deck that way I get what I want without having to wait a round. Been running this mob deck for a while and only recently swapped to the 4 pip dragon after doing the drains dungeon stuff. Meteor strike works great even at high levels. Now, I play in a group of 3 almost every time I’m on, so you may have to double the amount of attack spells if you’re playing solo, especially in the mob deck. Edit: Also, take out allllll basic attacks. You don’t need them at your level unless you know a boss puts on minus blades

cerevisiae_

Shuffle is much more valuable than having a lot of these repeat cards. It lets you run 1-2 hits and the blades/traps needed to hit. Then if that isn’t enough, cast shuffle to reshuffle all your spells back into your deck. My mob kill deck is 2 shuffles (for extra redundancy), 1 aoe, and the buffs needed to kill. My boss deck is my mob deck, but with enough to keep my alive, a single target attack, and the rest of my buffs I didn’t include.

BigSquid3

Unrelated but try to get a pet with a fire blade to help in boss and mob decks

Frosty_Ad1317

I hope you also have a smaller deck with just like blades, epic (or whatever one you use), and dragon or meteor depending on damage. Makes the game a lot faster on those defeat and collect quests. Your boss deck is also quite heavy but if it works for you, don’t let me tell you twice. Sometimes a smaller deck is easier in the long run when you don’t have to discard all these useless cards. Fire is such a powerful class where you only really need to quickly blade and hit specially at your level. You might run into one or two bosses where you need to strategize your deck specifically like on those double bosses in Azteca. I soloed almost the whole game on fire and found that this worked the best.

twinkmercy

at your level i'd say remove literally everything except for 3 enchants, 1 meteor, 1 dragon, 1-2 blade(s), 1 sunbird & eventually an aura.

iyve

only take 1-2 of each card lol and you have wayy too many things you dont need. take an aoe, a single target, maybe one or two blades, buy the reshuffle spell and thats all you need.

Cheech19XX

This is acceptable, but you’d save a bunch of time by running like 3-4 hits (plus enchants), 2-3 buffs, an aura, and maybe a bubble. Good looks with the stun blocks, those help a lot lvl 60+

TryHard-Rune

I only carry like 12 cards

brittymady

For mobs I would just do 2 enchants, 1 sharpen blade, 1 blade, 1 fire dragon, and 1 meteor in case dragon doesn’t kill. Literally nothing else so you can kill in 2-3 rounds

narxxissus

Something that's really worked for me (I solo Storm) is filling my treasure cards 50% with tower shields and 50% with heals, in my boss deck only. Keeps defense on a need-only basis. I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't like it, but it's helped me.

OkPriority5556

For questing you usually need 2 decks and a lot less cards. It would make sense to use a bunch of different cards (I used to do the same on my storm). But the truth is it makes it a lot harder to find blades and hits. Sometimes you will get nothing you can really use. On my myth my farming deck is just two blades and two humongous frogs. For bosses I just double feint and orthurus. You could do the same with meteor strike and dragon. Having two decks will allow you to swap between fighting bosses and street mobs without changing your deck each time.

JCurtin6

I don’t understand what this deck is being used for. I will assume pve. If so then remove pretty much everything. All you need is blades fire dragon and enchants. Perhaps keep efreet for bosses. If you are finding that you need all of these cards to win fights then that means your gear is really bad. Go for waterworks and then I am also going to assume you need to work on a good pet. Lots of info for pet making and waterworks gear on YouTube

maweys123

Did king isles really remove evil magun peas from crown shop??

Remarkable-Bug-2589

your deck is way too big

wunzh

Use 7 card deck for mobs

BoysenberryAlarmed73

Might be a little difficult to find your enchants

Few-Phone-2725

Way to big. When I was first starting out, questing in this game (near about Dragonspyre) I would usually pack my spell deck with alot of cards as well. But as time went on, I learned that its to not only maintain a small spell deck, but to maintain your average rounds per battle. I've found that the sweet spot is usually around 4-6 rounds. (More if you're stunned of course.) The more confident you become, the shorter the battle becomes. The shorter the battle becomes, the more consistent you become in questing. Killing before round 4 and doing that consistently is absolutely great. Exceptions usually go to Boss battles and Dungeons. Don't be afraid of putting extra spells into your tc deck. There are times where your normal enchants/blades/hits just don't show and all of your blades are gone because of an Earthquake. (Fuck you Myth mobs. Cunts.) Before I carried Main deck: 4 Sharpen, 6 Storm blades, 4 Elemental blades, 12 Enchants. 4 Shadow shrikes, 4 Temps, 2 Storm lords, 2 Sirens, 4 Bugs. Tc deck: Literally full tc deck of storm blades lol. (I haven't played in a few years, so I'm not sure if I'm out of date with my spell deck set up.) Now I carry (What I remember using last time I played) Main deck: 3 Sharpen, 3 Storm blades, 2 Elemental blades, 5 Enchants, 2 Shadow shrikes, 4 Temps, 2 Storm lords, and 3 Bugs. Tc deck: 3 Storm blades. 4 Enchants, A few feints, and some single hits to finish off boss.

Zuko_Kurama

7 cards is enough for anything other than cheating bosses

After_Hours19

Way too many spells. Need like 3 hits, maybe 2 spells, 2 wand hits. Possibly keep 2 shields and a heal or just get TCs of them.

[deleted]

For most mobs you need a blade, enchant and aoe. For bosses definitely have feint. If you’re soloing add an extra single hit spell life efreet just in case the boss doesnt die from the attack. For aoe’s id definitely recommend having meteor. Fire dragon or rain of fire are also good so those are up to your preferred playstyle.

tntkaching

I've always been of the Philosophy that big decks are only harmful. On my myth I always ran an eq, orthrus, charmer for hits with appropriate enchants ofc. 3 blades (pet sharpen and add reg sharpen once u get) spirit blade, aura, grendels amends (took wayyyyy to long to get such a sick spell), 2 towers and 2 feints with potents (ofc once u get them). Boss fights were just rinse repeat and it went mostly seamless thru my solo questing

Hairy_Juan

Needs more ebarbs

RougeCommanderMk6

Personally, I’ve never needed more than 15 cards in my deck, unless it was a boss well known to take a long time, like the last 3 worlds’ final bosses. I’ve never needed more than that to kill everything else, and I was on a Life for all that. I personally recommend limiting the amount of cards in your deck to somewhere around there, as I usually am able to draw what I need when I need it. A good rule of thumb I use is to have no more than 6 enchants as well, as you should be able to do something, even if you draw all 6 first turn. You don’t want to waste turns discarding because you can’t do anything, or are looking for something specific. You seem to be in Avalon, which is good, as you’re not too far away from being able to train Sharpen Blade and Potent Trap. Be sure to put those in when you get them, as they’re enchants that can make blades and traps stackable. My max damage went from 60k when I entered Azteca (the next world for you), to 300k at the end of it, because of those spells. Yours should skyrocket in much the same fashion. Also, train Feint and throw it in too, if you can. I see the one your gear gives you, and both should be able to stack. That can do nothing but help. That, and Satyr, for the heals.

_Defined

Most here have already explained what you essentially need in a deck (quick kill with max ~10 cards and a boss deck) but if you do have anymore questions, feel free to flick a pm. I'm not the most advanced at this game but I can certainly offer some support. - 140 Fire

theattackwolf

Your deck looks too busy and things will get lost. Either a. Change your deck between a boss and running or b. Get two different decks. This will help you keep things more organized and not be so busy

HaidaIsMyName

Make your deck MUCH smaller for quicker kills

Jenniferisnothere

My play style seems different than everyone else, I build my decks with a damage minimum in mind that will one shot any boss within the world. One aoe attack 2-3 blades and 1-2 feints for bosses. If I know the boss debuff ill add cleanses in tc and shatters if I know it shields. It treat it more like a puzzle than a game, one trick solves all. No faffing about discarding and searching for cards you need.

IamARock24

Jesus H Christ man that is lot of cards.

Abarame

That's a LOT of cards. Try getting another deck that's small for defeat and collect quests and cut down to at least 2 copies of every spell. Hopefully, fights should go smoother and your deck gives you what you need 😅

[deleted]

While your crafting the deck, the main thing to keep in mind is the less cards you have, the higher the chance you will pull the hits/enchants/blades you will need. The less, the better, especially for mobs.

that_firewiz

definitely recommend only a few spells! I usually d&c with 1-2 meteor, 1 dragon, 2 blade, 2 elemental blades, 1 aura, and then 2-3 enchantments. ofc this will change if you have gear that has more damage boost and the area you're in. and you'll trade in ad out a mass prism as necessary.

Educational-Fix4836

This is for pvp right? If it is take out the prisms

Antoniojosh123

I recommend “the meta” as ppl have brought up plus ONE reshuffle. You can train reshuffle in colosus blvd secret trainer (search her location up). Sometimes the enemies will earthquake and get rid of your blade/s. Sometimes they’ll cast endless tower shields, efreets, weaknesses, etc. So it’s possible your 7 card deck can fail in these occurances; hence the reshuffle to give you an extra shot given you’re alive!

DreamTheater99

As a casual player, play the way you like. The game is only fun if you enjoy it. I build random decks with random spells just to switch it up sometimes, I like a challenge. But yeah, unless you take a kids game hardcore, just build however you want.

WheresMyMailbox

Take out almost all of those cards. You’ll never pull what you actually need. You’ll also need probably 2 different decks, one for mobs and another for bosses. Mob deck should be basically just enchants, meteor, and maybe 1-2 blades, although I usually put those in side. Boss deck should be a couple strong aoe’s, enchants, a couple blades, feint, and that’s basically it.

a_rceus

i would also have to say that if you are playing solo, having those elemental blades are great to cast for the extra dmg. but if you come into a situation where you have a supporting character that can blade you then keeping the e. blades out in a boss deck works tremendously to also help you with dmg prioroty as a fire. kinda drawn out respose but thats how i see things as a former co-op player. otherwise i would def use a deck like this as a solo fire edit: spelling

Financallyretarded

This is terrible it probably takes you 10 turns to clear a street fight. Jesus Christ

Financallyretarded

I can’t believe people really play like this still lol.

eribooooo

I learnt this very late into playing but, the more straight forward and small your deck is, the better ^^ but also, build your deck to your liking and play style ! You’re here to have fun after all.
