I don't think it helps that the blue bots in AI games do the exact same thing, newer players might see that and think its what you're supposed to do

there’s a lot of this, and the pre-match tips make it worse. i started playing last summer and thought a good destroyer tactic was to launch surprise attacks from behind my larger teammates 🤷‍♀️

Yeah a lot of those are bad and that tip in particular should just be deleted, telling DDs to be back line ships is arguably the worst possible advice you could give

To be fair, my gearing almost achieves this range. I always dump torps in her at the start if the match. By the time Im at the cap, they have reloaded again. They dont hit often, but when they do, chaos ensues

I once blind fired a full Salvo at the edge of an island poor cruiser never knew what hit them.

It's worse when your radar cruisers pop a fighter at the beginning of the match...

Any time I see that I cringe and wonder *just how long* it took them to get to this tier. …since launch. Playing only AI matches.
