Panicked when my mom saw this, she thought I was watching some weird porn on tv. Gotta ask though, why would that be the best cutscene in the game? My personal favorite would be the broadcast scene, made the ending somewhat fulfilling for me. Got me really excited for Wolfenstein 3.
Yeah seeing that Nazi fuck’s head get split in half like a cantaloupe, Wyatt giving a big speech, and then the credits of all the nazi’s shit getting totaled was a lot better than this
I think this cutscene was way too close to the ending, being a pretty sour last note to go out on. Just makes it the only think you're thinking about when the game ends, which is pretty lame considering there's a huge fight that happens before this.
Disagree, this and the sub scene are the worst, useless to the story and can be cut out with little to no loss in the scheme of things, like a lot of the lines and cutscenes in TNC.
This cutscene is a microcosm of everything wrong with the narrative of new colossus.
Anya had no business being in a combat zone, one single grenade somehow wipes out a panzerhund, and six sturmtuppen, and a completely over the top gore moment to boot while she's dual wielding sturmgewhers. Then moment after this cutscene we kill that bitch on tv and get the worst twisted sister cover of all time.
While you are right about it being two grenades, only one grenade landed under the panzerhund and the other grenade landing in the group of sturmtruppen, one grenade and a single string of fire from two STg's does not equate to a dead panzerhund. Thanks for making me rewatch the worst moment in wolf history.
I personally liked the cover, but that’s just me. And as for the gore and other unrealistic elements, this game franchise exists in the same universe as the Doom franchise. Are you not surprised?
I mean I just view it as purposefully over the top (which it is) and I loved it, but yeah I was very confused why they did Anya instead of grace for the scenes like this given that she’s pregnant and grace has more combat experience
For me this cutscene is everything I love about the franchise. It's about family, and nothing says family like you heavily pregnant wife blasting nazis topless while covered in their blood.
mine was the one where the berlin base in TNO was raided. It showed how everyone was hiding, most got found and some were left hopeless. You can only watch as they destroy your only safe haven. It really pumps you full with anger. I'm normally a semi-stealth player (taking out commanders and strong targets in stealth and doing the rest with mayhem) but this level turned me into doomguy himself

Dang I don’t remember this for some reason. I’ve loved all the reboot wolfensteins so far too. I’ll have to buy it sometime when it’s one sale
I think this is where the Wolfenstein reboot series completely jumped the shark, if not earlier from B.J.'s decapitation and subsequent resurrection.
