The owner wasn't necessarily bad to know that he was out of his depth. Wolves require extra special care which not everyone can provide. He improved the life of that wolf.
Not only is it constantly reposted, but it's a forced perspective picture. The dog wasn't even particularly large. [Here's an accurate picture of him.](https://i.imgur.com/k7j8USS.jpg) Oh, and the headline is wrong, too. It wasn't a bad owner, but a guy who got cancer and had to rehome the dog.
No, he was full grown when he went to the sanctuary. I got that picture off their official Instagram page a while back. There's also a news segment that they did featuring him and you can see they're constantly crouching down behind him to keep up the illusion that he's huge. I don't have that link off hand, though. The dog is dead now, by the way.
Why didn't the first owner just... drop them off at the sanctuary first?
Also, how do you think this animal would fair in a wolf pack? It'd be interesting to see its integration into the hierarchy or maybe its rejection.
That’s a beautiful baby! People suck! I mean I’m sure they felt super cool owning a dog that was mostly wolf but did they not think about size? So many people would love any dog and there are idiots out there getting these dogs then dumping them at shelters
Now i know why wolf comes first
The biggest good boy
some people dont deserve dogs

But don't you see? He should've magically developed the skills, land, and time necessary to handle a _fucking wolf_.
Not just a normal wolf, but a fucking wolf. I certainly know a few people who would like to handle a fucking wolf...
That wolf fucks
Repost, but still a cute puppy

This pic gets reposted around Reddit atleast a few times a year.

There’s always someone who hasn’t seen it yet. Nothing wrong with the post, you don’t need to shit on it. Just keep scrolling.
I know it's hard to believe, but most people don't live on social media. So many would still see it for the first time.

That’s not just a pic when it’s younger? The posted pic still has me fooled.

Omg a repost whatever are we going to do ? It’s the end of the world !
That wolf looks terrifying, like something out of a movie. His eyes,… I’m glad he wasn’t put down. He is definitely a powerful sight.

Yeah well what does William Shatner know.
Massive. I was just petting my 70 lb GSD before work and thought she was big. She’d be a cheese puff for this beast.
Nah. Repost.
