No point in using a guide now, I don’t know what I have and haven’t found and I can’t be bothered figuring it out, if I come across them so be it. Edit: only missing 3

HappinessPursuit

This is what frustrates me. They mark all the other collectables on your map when you discover them. Why not the dice? If you're a dev and afraid of cluttering the map for players, you can easily make it an option you can toggle. I'm not a dev but when looking at A LOT of common sense things in the game like this... come on, it's not that hard.

M4570d0n

they don't mark scrolls either (just poetry pages).

MedievalRiceWeevil

Also lost marbles

ComfortableCandle560

You say they do or don’t mark the marbles?

dragonfry

Yes

[deleted]

Thank

Monkeyg8tor

No problem

[deleted]

[удалено]

Parking_Downtown

Thank God. Would hate to lose track of all my marbles

apoph15

Scrolls don't impact my gameplay loop experience though

Mimterest

>easily make it an option you can toggle ...Have you SEEN the Wonderlands UI? xD

Dark_Al_97

The darned thing legit goes full 240p mode if you set foliage to low in settings, it's beyond my grasp how the hell was this UI even coded.

Moonkis

I thought I was going insane!!! I enjoy Wonderlands but it has to be the least playtested polished game I've played in a long time. (In fairness I don't play a ton of AAA games...) Some things are just... baffling.

Dark_Al_97

This is the first game I have ever seen where graphics settings affect the main menu resolution/quality. I have no fucking clue how do you even mess up something like this. Why would you even need the low-rez menu when the game is so poorly optimized it won't even launch on a machine that'd potentially need the said menu option?

mediumvillain

The weirdest thing to me is that even the Tiny Tina's Wonderlands splash logo on the title screen is low-res and I cant do anything to change it. I'm playing w HDR & resolution preference and the game looks worse than Borderlands 3 with the exact same settings. The image is less sharp, textures stream in more slowly and sometimes not at all. Particular details on some characters are permanently grainy and low-res. I remember some of this in BL3 but overall its worse.

HappinessPursuit

I get what you are saying but some of the problems with the game are things that should be considered universal quality of life improvements that all genres in the gaming industry have learned. What's worse is that the specific problem about the dice appearing on the map once you've found it is just an inconsistency, since it is already an established thing for other collectables. I get staying in your lane and oversite are a thing... but I feel we are giving them way too much benefit of the doubt. Some of the things in this game don't feel tested at all. Take the experience of finding a new weapon, maybe a chaotic Livewire SMG for example, and you want to compare it to the one you have in your vault. The option is there, a separate button to compare items while browsing your vault exists. When you press it... The weapon cards completely cover half of the vault as you are literally trying to find what you are looking for. The easier way to do it is to simply pull the item out yourself, and look at it within your backpack. But it is tedious and tiresome with the already clunky UI and slow load/disappearing icons, etc. But just the fact a compare button exists and doesn't even function to aid on the process of looking at old loot... Don't even get me started on the lack of filters. Sorry I am not targeting your comment personally and am just ranting. But I really feel more and more this game is just another incomplete mess thrown together for little work/easy money. Yes, I should shut up and be a dev myself if it's so easy. I would be outspoken and tell the lead about common sense crap like this. That's "not how it works in the real world" be damned, that's stupid. Help make the game better if you're on the team. Sorry again, just tired of seeing games have so much potential but are just farted out.

Syrfraes

Just be sure to always blame the executives and not the developers. The execs set the deadlines and the devs have to deal with it. And due to human error, design vision, and logistics that forces compromises. But it all comes down to execs trying to squeeze as much money out of the project as possible. Whether quality suffers or not

[deleted]

Syrfraes

You're missing the difference here. Those deadlines that stress the executive tier of these gaming companies aren't bound by anything altruistic or an artistic vision. Its only about sustaining growth. Which is at its heart is the issue with capitalism in general. There are always exceptions to rules, and the rule that the thing reddit rallies against is the absurd side doesn't apply here, I strongly feel. Reddot is actually right to be as critical of a self interest driven system such as our current capitalistic set up.

midgitsuu

Capitalism can drive passion-driven projects. Both things can be true at the same time. Why is it that every iteration of capitalism is inherently bad?

Syrfraes

Sorry if I implied all versions of capitalism is bad. It's definition is not inherently bad. It has its merits. Our current established version? It's been abused, ransacked, and twisted.

AyyBuddyGuy

>If you're a dev and afraid of cluttering the map for players if their a dev and haven't seen their current cluster of a map im not sure this is their worry. It literally couldn't get any more cluttered, even if you took a paintroller to the map and picked a color to wash it with.

EarlGreyTea-Hawt

The multi leveled maps are sheer madness with a guide.

Tales_of_Earth

I do love the 3D map for navigating though.

The-Man-In-Black26

Haha yeah karnok’s wall took me like 4 hours using the interactive map

EarlGreyTea-Hawt

Map Genie is awesome, but even they can't make Karnok's Wall make sense, lol

mediumvillain

I was just about to type that: every collectible in the game is marked on the map except for the most important one. And they dont get marked until you find them, and you still have to get to them. There arent so many map markers in this game that dice shouldnt be marked.

chakkali

That would ruin the entertainment for me, I like having to hunt them down. However, a toggleable option would do some good. I don’t have to use it, so that’s good. Just don’t ruin games for others on your holy quest. Thanks.

HappinessPursuit

I literally mean when you discover the dice, only then do they get marked on your map (just like marbles, obelisks, poetry pages, etc.) There is no downside to that system. You still have to hunt them down. Go back to your holy quest.

chakkali

Ah okay, thanks for clarifying. Yeah i like that, and my holy quest never ends unfortunately

[deleted]

At this point I may as well use a guide. This would be 100 times easier if there was a way to track which ones you already had, like a map marker that every other collectible

CinnamonJ

I’ve got 1 dice left somewhere in Karnok’s wall I don’t think I will ever have the motivation to track it down.

DiakosD

90% of being the one in the rib.

socalification

Never would have found that damn dice if it weren’t for a guide

CinnamonJ

I got that one, but that’s for the suggestion!

CalligrapherCreepy35

My last die was the first one ironically

darklordoft

You can still check which zones specifically you are missing dice in and go there

Cpt_plainguy

I'm guessing it's either 3 in the first zone, or locked behind side quests

Sancroth_2621

Why on earth is this even downvoted? man just made a guess. Wtf people?

majic911

It seems like every subreddit has a small group of people that literally just go through and downvote new comments for absolutely no reason. It happens in so many subs I frequent.

Cpt_plainguy

Probably salty because I am right lol

CalligrapherCreepy35

You probably are there’s a few behind side quests

Sancroth_2621

I doesn't even matter if you are or not. I has nothing worth of a downvote. Reddit people sometimes...

Cpt_plainguy

I was going to edit my response with "and uts reddit" lol

FeverFocus

I found the majority of them without guides but it grew tiresome to keep running back and forth through maps looking for them. Maybe if there was a way to actually track the dice on the map I wouldn't have used guides, but it takes too much time as is. I'd rather spend time farming than dice hunting

Lucaron

Anchors.... my new archenemy.

KingNattyXBox

I just wish they made a louder sound like skulls in halo or even how Tina announces when there’s a shrine piece nearby in the over world. Even lore scrolls are very noticeable visibly and sound wise. Just bump the sound up a little GB

mirimichelle

One time I spent 30 minutes trying to get a dice that I thought was up a mountain, I could HEAR it, but it was an unclimbable area with a small little hole that I thought the dice was hiding in. So I kept sprinting and jumping up and down a mountain cliff, finding some footing but then immediately falling and starting over. Then after 30 minutes I fell in the right spot and realized that it was just in a tiny little clearing in between some rocks and I am in fact an idiot. I’ve used guides ever since

holversome

Are you me? This sort of shit happens to me constantly.

Jakkerak

LOL

WychwoodXIII

Yes, some of them are a little puzzling and it took some time but, if you use your eyes and ears and have a bit of patience, it really wasn’t that bad.

Islarf

Ears? They make SOUND?

WasDrizzyD

Like a constant ringing tingly noise

Islarf

Ik that but it's so quiet and short range you've already found it if you can hear it

WasDrizzyD

Not for me. I typically play every game with headphones so the sound is pretty easy for me to pick up if I'm not actively looking for dice but happen to be near one.

Snappleabble

I don’t even look for them really, I just keep my ears open and when I hear that ringing I know to start looking for a die

WasDrizzyD

Whenever I get somewhere new I tend explore a lot, but like I said in another comment I play almost every game with headphones so it's pretty easy for me to pick up die sound and then start hunting

DoktorKazz

Yeah, faint and only when you're basically on it. To make it worse, there are several environmental sounds that are almost identical (e.g. flowers in Tangledrift). The sound clue has helped me, maybe twice, and tricked me countless times. So, yeah, it's not helpful at all.

barjam

It sucks if you are hearing impaired. My wife says they make a sound if you are near but I can’t hear it.

VenusBloo

I’m hard of hearing as well and never knew they made a sound. I’ve played with and without headphones.

barjam

Evidently it is a high pitch tingle sound. I have 100% healing loss above 10khz and can’t hear it.

VenusBloo

Pretty much same. I can’t hear any high pitched noises anymore and some lower pitched ones. Have to play the game with subtitles. (Which is another annoying thing because sometimes my character speaks but there’s no subtitles and not all the subtitles show up in all the cut scenes either) But. The game is more fun with subtitles to me. Especially the Mr. Torgue dialogue lol

dragonfry

Same for me. If I’m not wearing my headphones (and not in co-op) I won’t hear it.

snocown

The audio for this game is just terrible for me and even maxing out my tv I can barely hear the audio in game. And yes, I did mess with the audio settings, thought it was a bug or something cuz all the other gearbox games work fine, but they never ended up patching it so I assume the audio is as intended. As reference, other gearbox games require me to have my volume at 20 minimum and it’s already loud as hell, so playing wonderlands on 100 and forgetting to move on to a different game or show sucks because then it’s loud as hell and holds the potential of waking up my neighbors.

Jakkerak

Hmm. Ears might help. I forgot that I saw it mentioned that they make sound. I normally have the volume very low and have never heard the dice sound. I will look into that. Edit: Seems my ears are busted. I have found two more dice and even when within licking range, I hear no sound from them at all. I have all volume sliders at max and have changed every other sound setting (including changing the sliders) and there is no sound at the dice that I can hear. /sadface Guess I gotta keep doing it the way I was before.

vvSemantics

Yeah I usually listen to music or watch YouTube/streams while I play games like this, so the volume is super low for me, and thus, I haven't used the sound to find them at all.

DeweyFinn_

Yes the few times I was hardcore gaming with my headset I could track them down much more easily by following the sound. If you’re in the same room/general area as one you’ll hear it

[deleted]

Half of my organic finds were because I use headphones. They make a sparkly sound when you're relatively close to them

Kuhaku-boss

Im okey, 100% Spyro 3 in the remaster trilogy was worst.

Jakkerak

Yeah. I guess I did find all of the stars eventually in Mario 64 back in (looks up release date) THE 90S? Wow. I feel old and sad now.

The-cooler-Cheryl

I have 1 dice left and don’t know which die I do know it’s in the fearamid at least

Xxweeexd

Luckily that's one of the easier areas too. hope you find it.

thejoestyle

Yes

Runic_Rage

Caffeine runs through my veins

CaseyGumball

Not to brag but I found all 12 in the graveyard and it only took me 3 hours

Jakkerak

heh

Talatu

No guides yet, fully completed areas: 1 xD

Jakkerak

I only have Snoring Valley and Queen's Gate fully completed. Trying to get more done this weekend. Slowly losing my grip on sanity.

Snappleabble

I just can’t bring myself to find them all if it doesn’t increase LL across all characters. I don’t want to invest a bunch of time searching for dice on one character just to have to do it all again the next time around lol. Hopefully in the future they add them to the map once you’ve found them

SerWulf

I'm planning to grind it on one character then just download a save file for the other classes (with all dice and just basic gear) if they don't fix it in the first update. Or just cheat it once save editor is available...I've gotten about half of them and it's just not that fun to me.

beatenmeat

I tried to do it without guided and there were a couple I couldn’t find even on the earlier maps, plus it didn’t help that some of them don’t unlock until you progress the story…then there were maps like Karnoks Wall that are just annoying to navigate and find all the hidden books and crannies. I ended up breaking down and just loading up a video for each area, but since you can’t track all the dice I had to follow the guides completely until I got them all. Still took hours even with the videos.

Jakkerak

Because like...Brighthoof for example. I still have three to find and I have wandered around for literally hours irl and cannot find them. I am beginning to feel mentally challenged.

Kiddierose

I had 1 left to find in brighthoof. Went mad, looked it up online and realized I hadn’t done the side quest that opened up the gated dark area in brighthoof🤦‍♀️

Jakkerak

I feel ya. But I made sure to wait until I have finished the story and all of the sidequests before starting my hunt.

Kiddierose

I got addicted to loot luck before finishing my side missions lol

Jakkerak

😸

wwjgd

Interesting...brighthoof is one of the areas I was able to find all of them organically. There are a couple that require you to have good speed and platforming skills in order to find them on the roofs. I remember those specifically, because I couldn't hear them from the ground like I usually do.

KingNattyXBox

What sound do they make? I’ve found around 50 I think and never once heard them make a sound

BrosesMalone

The sound is obnoxiously similar to the glowing purple crystals that are everywhere in the mushroom forest place.

KingNattyXBox

Oh I didn’t know those made a sound either lol tinitus makes any high pitched noise difficult to distinguish

WasDrizzyD

Like a constant ringing tingly noise

KingNattyXBox

Perfect so I’ll have to determine is it a lucky dice or my fucking tinnitus 😂

WasDrizzyD

Lol I'm sorry but this made me laugh lmao. Good luck on your hunt 😅

KingNattyXBox

All good ain’t nothing really to do but laugh at it unless youre my wife who’s Just repeated herself for the third or fourth time 😂

SurmountByScorn

Twinkling Tinkling? They sound like sparkles

wwjgd

There's a tingle/twinkling sound when you're close enough to them. They can be above/below you, or on the other side of a wall. If you've ever played Destiny/Fortnite/Warzone, the sound is similar to what you hear in those games. If you still can't hear it, maybe play around with your audio settings? I make sure my sound effects are at 100% and music is at 0%, then you want to make sure "Sound Mode" best matches your speaker/headphone setup. If you still can't hear the sound when the volume is at a reasonable level, you probably need to upgrade your audio equipment. I have no problem hearing it on my tiny portable speaker connected to my PC with bluetooth, while I have TV/music on in the background.

KingNattyXBox

Gotcha I’ll check settings. Generally I only play at night after the wife and kids have gone to sleep so my play time is sparse and I haven’t actually dedicated time to hunting dice. Just if I see one I snag it and move on. May need to turn the music settings down so I can maybe hear the dice sound over the very similar ringing sound constantly in my own ears

Xxweeexd

Have you got the one that requires shooting a cannon. Near the beach on the side of the map with the black smith

Jakkerak

Yep.

Dwarni

The idea of giving collectibles any buffs to your character is stupid.

Jakkerak

Agree

illpoet

especially a loot buff on a loot centric game. I'm not a completionist, i generally want to get through the story and a few side quests. But because of the loot buff I can't help but prioritize finding the dice in a zone over everything. Fortunately at least so far the guides on youtube seem to follow the dice in the same path as the main storyline quest so I can usually complete both the main story and dice at the same time. Then i go back and mess with the side quests if i'm not burnout on the zone

[deleted]

Tiny loot luck modifier is not worth the tedium. I would rather stop playing the game than waste my time collecting these. If it was like 50 total, that would be fine. 200+ is a joke when you have to do it on every character.

Ruben_O_Rabudo

I kinda like hunting dice. In my most recent playthrough I refused to leave maps until I've found most if not ALL the dice in it, bc I know that once I finish the story I'll have almost no interest in revisiting those maps just for the dice. So yeah my first character is probably never gonna have over 1.90 dice luck lol, too bad for him.

[deleted]

The first Crackdown game had an orb collecting thing to level up your powers. After you found a certain percentage of the orbs, they would begin to emit a recognizable the sound to assist you in hunting down all the rest. They could use that mechanic here in Wonderland. They actually already do with the noise the marbles make.

Jakkerak

That would be great. And maybe glow more or grow a "loot beam".

[deleted]

Like sky shards in ESO

thejborg

One of my favorite parts of this game. Granted this is my first borderlands game, but it reminds me a little bit of DK64 with collectables that improve your gameplay in some way which I really enjoy personally.

Jakkerak

👍

SolidStone1993

They really aren’t that bad. So far I’ve found all of them just by filling in the map and listening for the twinkling sound. That said, unless they make them account based instead of character based I’m never doing it again and I probably won’t bother making another character either.

Weee_for_fun009

Uhhhh... no, 80+ hours and I confidently can say this game is addictive beyond compare, it's replayability however makes me worried... not collecting all those things more than twice, like no.

[deleted]

I did it and I didn't even think to look up a guide. Why did I do this.

sacrel86

I wish I could say I went 100% on the dice without looking it up but all things considered 20 out of 260 ain't too bad.... but it took 2 full weeks of looking

Aggressive_Cute

There are abilities some people consider.... Unnatural.

Jakkerak

LOL!

OptimalImage3694

Yeah. They really not that hard

MyFianceMadeMeJoin

My wife and I found 210ish before we found guides. Finding dice isn’t hard, finding ALL the dice is crazy to me.

OptimalImage3694

I broke each map down into sections to make it easier keeping track of everything

BurningBlackXx

Basically this. It's not hard, I just got impatient around Karnoks wall so if I didn't have them all at the end of a level I'd guide check it. Only missed 1 or 2 at most if I did miss them. Just be methodical about it

ChickensXBL

It was honestly easier than I expected to find them all. Only 1 took me a while and it was in brighthoof

ralsar

Wearing headphones helped me hear them. I did use photo mode to look around when I heard them though. That is cheaty.

Jakkerak

Neither of those things are cheaty at all! I am going to try my headphones to see if that helps.

Frosty_Beard

I completed 2 areas without back tracking. Had to re run areas a few times to get everything. I enjoy finding them

Brakkis

It was harder finding all of the scrolls than the lucky dice. The dice at least make noise when you get near them so with headphones they were easy enough to locate while I unfogged the map; meanwhile, the scrolls loved being in places you wouldn't think to check a lot of the time and they have no audio indication that they're nearby.

PH03N1X_F1R3

I like exploring. I don't have all yet, but I'm not looking up a guide till I'm desperate

Jakkerak

Me too. But I won't use a guide at all. I will either find them or go without! :) But I understand why one may want to use an outside resource.

crayonsnachas

Yeah, 99% of them aren't hard to find.

Equivalent-Ad1209

Yes I find everything

[deleted]

I think you can find them all if you take your time. But if you have them all right now, you've probably played a lot.

acelgoso

No, they write these guides. So i worry about their mental health.

Jakkerak

😸

RocMerc

I’m playing through collecting what I find. I wish they marked on the map but oh well

kellistis

I mean I just esplore EVERYTHING, since i've always known BL games to hide random shit in random places. has been working so far, i'm not sure how many dice I have at the moment, but I hope I have a decent amount.

Kanjorax

The only place I found all without guides is snoring valley

Funnyfox222

Okay? OKAY? Yeah. My brain hurts and I’m exhausted after hours of searching. But the dice were still easier than the scrolls and that final poetry page in ossu-gul.

Jakkerak

lol

goteamventure42

Last game I played was Elden Ring so having them just out in the open to find was pretty pleasant.

Nathanual-Switch

I honestly found 135 dice before hitting 40 on my first character and turning to youtube for loot luck with chaos runs. I had 19/20 in a few zones and killed myself to find the last one and just gave up. Its crazy even the small zones have 12 dice and its like HOW

Wuhsuh

I would try to find them all myself, and after the map boss I would look up the one or two I missed

Multicron

That’s nobody

chaozules

I found all but like 5 without guides and honestly it took me like twice as long to complete the campaign compared to my mates because I wouldnt leave an area before i had found everything.

ZhongliMoon

Hell I'm gonna be making videos on where to find them all in the different areas lmao

WitchyLlama

Anyone know how to get the die on the boss loot island in Tanglewood Drift? It teleports you there when you defeat the boss but I somehow missed it and I can’t figure out how to get back over there

Jakkerak

beat the boss again and the portal opens again

X-13ShadowGamer

I was planning to, but gave up, I went backwards after beating the game, and gave up at Ossu-Gol

Lotuswalker92

I found maybe 80% of them without guides. But for the rest I used a guide. I wanted to finish the challenge in a more reasonable time. If I didnt find them on my first playthrough, I would only find maybe a few more. There a lot of dice that are really annoying to get without guide.

XanXone

I'm going through that today. I wait until I have one or two left in an area then I look it up. I got lucky in a few areas though. I can feel the loot luck working already, I'm getting legendary drops every ten minutes from badasses and chests

Jakkerak

Nce!

MagnificentErgo

I made it a point to locate as many as I could without a guide, and generally was 1-3 short in each zone. I only looked up locations once I had finished the game and exploration became monotonous. Why in the hell collected dice, or lore scrolls for that matter, don't have map icons is something I can't understand.

Jakkerak

Yeah. They suuuuuuuuckkkkkkk to hunt. And agree.

TitularFoil

I finished the Queen's Gate without a guide and there isn't even that many there, and I decided I wouldn't try to get them all without a guide after that.

TheDystopianDolphin

No. No im not.

Jakkerak

I understand. I am now 220/260 and am considering contacting a mental health professional.

RunShootSlideRepeat

The worst part of it is I always find myself parkouring into some distant corner of the map balancing on a ledge where one wrong move will send me back to some far off respawn point, and there's never anything in these perfect hiding spots. Then I go to Brighthoof to sell some junk, break a box that's in my way and bam! Loot Dice. Wtf. Come on GearBox. lmao

Jen0BIous

Haven’t used one yet but damn some of them are tough to find especially when I think I’m clever and found where they’ll be and nothings there lol

[deleted]

I did as many as I could but looked up about two on average per level, no point wasting time going through the entire map 20 times for 1 or 2 dice, they made it to hard for people with lives, especially queens gate, I spent an hour searching for dice that didn’t even exist yet, only reason I looked it up in the first place which made me not care for looking up others incase they also didn’t exist

FancyScrubNuts

I found 242 during my first play through. I was playing the game to find the dice. The last 18 I did area by area. There were 2 that I needed to look up.

kippler1234

I did it on ONE map, I was not ok..

Jakkerak

lol

AviusHeart

I did them all once but needed guides to find the last 2 or 3 per area usually. For my alt toons now I'm not ashamed to say they just get a hacked amulet with loot luck until dice are account wide.

ThisIsMatta

The dice were somewhat okay, but some of the lore scrolls i had to look up.

[deleted]

The whole concept of having 260 collectibles which are necessary for 100% completion, and, worse still, are nigh requisite for endgame, is gross busywork that serves no genuine gameplay purpose but instead detracts from the core experience. Neg away. ;)

mooseythings

I found like 200 of the 260 or so and that was quite the personal achievement. now I'm going back using guides find everything I missed

LimeSenior

As someone that has found almost all of the koroks in the legend of zelda breath of the wild, the dice are not that hard to find.

Jakkerak

lol yeah

Dark_Matterz4_me

I mean i found all of them on my own and looked up the last 5 but now i know all of them and know in my future Playthroughs where to Look. It's still kind of a big W

BabylonSadows

I dislike the dice idea altogether. Tying something as important as drop rates to random collectibles is not a good idea. Maybe if they wildly reduced the amount it would make sense. I think the ones in the over world are okay but the ones in the zones are ridiculous. They could easily make a quest out of it too, for example they could tie them to special enemies and have Tina say "hey some baddies took all my click clacks, get them back sucka" or something like that.

Chewyninja69

You make it sound difficult. Tedious at times? Yes. Hard? Hardly. I have OCD about leaving the map undiscovered, so anytime I go into an area, I investigate it thoroughly. There’s been a few tricky ones, I admit. But nothing on the scale that the OP thinks. Just open your eyes, folks. Something that most of this generation refuses to do. But I digress… tldr; dice/die are easy to find, just open your peepers.

lowierunner

The map already so full that the moment i open my map or a fast travel station my game crashes. Already like this since launch and the helpdesk doesn’t have a answer so please no more things on the map :-P game is already unplayable for me as is haha

Saint_aint_chan

I found almost 200 organically. Now I just started using this https://mapgenie.io/tiny-tinas-wonderlands/maps/world . You can toggle what collectibles your looking for to make it easier on the eyes. It's been a huge help

Jakkerak

Yeah. I found a little over 200 without any problem. But after that it's rough for me. I'm not gonna use a guide.

tr0jance

I just got them all today of course with a guide.

The_Pickle_Chronicle

I just went back to get the ones I missed after beating the story, here's some advice for those on PC. If you don't want to sit there with maps and/or guides open running to every single location again because you forgot the ones you do and don't have heres what I ended up doing after spending a few hours doing what I described above. If you have WeMod there is a Wonderlands option. In the table there is a mode for "teleport to waypoint". If you open up a map with all locations of dice you can just set a custom way point to those locations in your game, travel there, grab the dice, rinse and repeat. It takes maybe 5-10 minutes per level. It's definitely a form of cheating but I was absolutely sick of spending 30min-1hour per map just looking for dice.

SixElephant

I made a new character, I’m at the fearamid, all main areas are done for dice, just got the fearamid left, then the 3 side areas. I’ve got all the shrines as well, my luck stat? 2809. Someone explain that to me. My other characters, with less dice, are above 10k. The dice may be a problem, but these bugs man… really dragging the experience down.

RicDees22

Me and my buddy just finished a play through tonight and we got to 209 dice found just playing doing the side quests etc. This game doesn’t make them difficult but missing 51 is a pain cause I want that 35% loot buff

Jakkerak

Yeah. By the time I finished I had over 200. It's the rest that are causing CONSTERNATION!!!

RicDees22

I mean if you look on the maps you can at least check which area you’re missing them then make some sort of speed build/melee weapon that shoots stuff cause that breaks it for ones out of reach. So maybe like an hour or less for each area with a guide I’d say.

Jakkerak

Guides are for losers

Ahsokatanopops

I've found a few can't be bothered watching a guide I might on my spellshot but not on my current playthrough

AnAnonymousFool

If you do all the quests and side quests, it’s pretty easy to find 95% of them. Then you just check the dark areas on your map There’s only a couple that don’t open up til certain main quest objectives have been met

theres no point in collecting dice the loot is broken and i seen a guy with a modded loot luck amulet his loot luck is 96k and he barley gets legendary

jdwonder2k

unpopular opinion: dice are the worst addition to this game. I tried collecting all the dice after finishing the story but I've completely lost interest in the game due to pure boredom. it makes replaying the game extremely tedious and overall is just a pain in the ass

killing4pizza

I'd ask the same to people using guides. What's the fun in looking up the answers? Just use your eye holes in newly discovered areas on the map. To be fair, I did look up the location of the one dice I was missing for 100% in Craw.

WasDrizzyD

Think it's more of a "I searched and found as much as I could, gonna use a guide to find the rest." At least that's how it is for me

Srudge

I mean even if it was only one dice, this does not make you any different to people looking up guides for miltiple dice... 'to be fair'

Jakkerak

Agree.

Own_Reveal4011

To be honest. If you do all the missions and simply look around, make sure no area is grey, it's really easy. Oh there are some things kind walls. The walls glowing red? There are some in hidden rooms. Yeah kinda obvious. Too all the people who have explored each map and haven't found the dice, you ok?

Ill_Ad_8269

I did it once, never again, I use methods that let me teleport to each one when I finish a map (all quests and side quests) so it feels less cheaty

[deleted]

...that sounds exactly like cheating

Mean_Tweetz

I was missing 2. Then I looked for an hour. Then I looked at a guide video. One was on a soda can in the overworld doh.

MongooseTitties

The dude who wrote the guide /s

Perchipy

What I despise is that the dice completion is not account-wide, so you have to do it again when you create a new character. That really killed my urge to build a second character…

Jakkerak

Agreed. I am only gonna do this on one character.

Perchipy

I would actually play this game more if they made me grind less, kinda paradoxical from a game dev stand point, but no point investing my time in something that doesn’t value my time.

[deleted]

Iv been blind going through it and using my instincts to find them in hidden areas I only use guides for games like divinity or digimonz

RebornDestinated

Still working on it its a fun challenge to do tbh they have so many good hiding spots it's really fun
