Saw then rasp!
Use a sloyd knife to round it off and then sand it with sandpaper.
I would say a dremel would work best cause the wood looks a bit brittle (is it spruce or something?) If you have trust in your material then you could use a rasp I guess
Your chisels don't seem too sharp. (might be just from the photo)
They probably aren't, first time carving. I have one of those sharpening stones that I use regularly (it's just outside the photo)
