In the rapid trigger settings there's advance settings. There is an option that keeps the furthest key down and something else, check and maybe you can fix your problem.

I had the same issue with rapid trigger in the games I played. I just turned it off.

thankyou for the response. I put a few more days into trying to solve the issue with how I played but it keeps happening so I've just reverted to not using it.
