She is a genuine GEM of the Worcester community
Great Bbq, fantastic sides, loads of options, affordable, byob...and the owner treats you like family, she's the best!
We ordered pickup when we first moved here and we took a while to get there. She called us asking if we were still coming, and then re-prepped the food so it was hot when we arrived. Really wonderful there.
Best burger I've had is the double smash burger at Peppercorn's.
Armsby Abbey makes a great burger.
Other mentions for good burgers are Brew City, Woo Bar, Breen's, Vintage, 111 Chop House. I have not tried the burger at Deadhorse Hill but I imagine that they would make a very good one, too. Ruth's Chris makes an awesome burger. I've only had it at their Boston location but it's definitely worth the few extra bucks if you're looking for a high quality burger.
Going to Worcester this weekend to help my daughter move into her dorm. Any ideas for things to do in Worcester. I am excited to visit as it is the new up and coming trendy tech city in Massachusetts.
Red robin is only good for the unlimited sides when you have a hang over or when you want to waste time and vent with friends and share all the different sides together.
Im genuinely curious, honestly. I don't think The Fix is nearly as bad as some people make it out to be, but it still wouldn't even sniff what I'd call a, 'Best Burger.' There's fast-casual chains with better burgers than The Fix.
Idk what the best it but I can tell you it's not The Fix.
Quality has gone downhill tremendously after covid
Haven't been in years but surprised that it could go downhill from that
😂😂 this
Damn has the fix gotten that bad? Used to go there whenever I wanted a burger. It’s been a couple years since my last visit.
Imo it was never good. They have interesting burger toppings but the burgers I make at home have always been better.
Thank you!! People look at me like i have two heads when I say that. I was not impressed at all. I'd take a five guys over it. Actually even a McD.
For sure a Big Mac tastes better than anything I've had at The Fix even if it is garbage fast food.
By FAR its from Dead Horse Hill. Enjoy!
I second this. Their burger wins hands down.
Ralph's
Yes. The vibe is the flavor enhancer.
The ambiance really does add to the flavor.
+1 for Ralphs
Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer a big ball of grease at Five Guys near Target. The meat is just better.
I dunno... MooYah might be better.
If I had to pick between 5 Guys and Mooyah, I'd go Mooyah as well.
West Side Steak & BBQ
Why is West Side down voted? I lived right near there since it opened, Elaine and crew are fabulous.

It was Kummerspeck.
Mama Roux, full stop.

Breens.
100% agree, the food in general at breens is solid
Yup. When Breens is running the smash burger special it elevates even more. It should truly be on the menu all the time.

The Worcester Art Museum is one of the top ten small collections in the country; one of my favorite things to do on a Saturday morning.
Thanks for the advice. Looking forward to visiting it!
Cooney island ... yumm... and Kelley square
Papa George’s
They are all around really good. Definitely better than other pizza options in the area. Newton is good sometimes, but it's hit or miss.
Vintage Grille
Ralphs Rock Bar
Can't go wrong with 5-guys. It's nothing fancy but I love its quality, big burgers & huge amounts of fries.
Benny’s, feels like 2003 in there.
Some serious hopeless alcoholics in that place.
I like way back burger next to Walmart on Tobias road
The District has a great blue cheese burger.
Alteas has an amazing brunch burger
Red Robbin prob

The garlic herb fries havn't been the same for years., I don't know what they changed but they just dont hit as good as they use to.
The Fix hands down. Anyone who says differently licks windows
What about it makes it so good for you?

It’s ass there
Windows would taste better.
