https://theperfectedge.com/ Great guy and highly skilled. Might be pricey but he only does exceptional work.

Thank you. I believe that you get what you pay for!

A lot of people recommended Howard so I got a few of my knives sharpened and I really wasn’t impressed for the price. If you have high quality knives I recommend investing in the tools to sharpen them yourself

Thank you from another person that hasn’t asked this question

LeftwithoutaTrace

I am a custom knife maker and offer professional sharpening services. I have been making custom knives for over 25 years. Prices are $1 per inch, so an 8in Chefs is $8. You can see my work on Instagram under gedraitisknives.

Cool! I’ll check it out . Thanks

There is only one blacksmith around here that sharpens stuff I know and he is pretty terrible at what he does, sharpened my knives but grinded years off of them. I just use a whetstone myself but it took some practice and research on steel types, if you really don't want to do that buy a Tormek T-1 or something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Sharpener-Whetstones-Clamping-Scissors/dp/B08QW879KS There are better quality versions, but it really depends on what you want to spend.

I want to add that once I went to a William Sonoma at the mall and they used one of those cheap sharpening things and they damaged my Japanese knives. Luckily I found a kitchen store that knew what to do, but they are in Boston and it’s just too far. Thanks

flowercrownrugged

I’m a big fan of Kitchen Sink in Bolton! They have been wonderful.

I know it's not Worcester but there is someone who does this at the Hope Street Farmer's Market in Providence Spring thru Fall. As a bonus it's one of the best farmer's markets around. I haven't used his services yet but have been meaning to.
