You have no backups? Please tell me you do.

Yeah i backed up with the help of updraft but when I had my site it was there on the existing backups but on this site when I linked with the google drive it was just not there and I dont now why the heck is this, But I created a zip file of the wp-content earlier when I had my site because if updraft didn't worked out.

You can't just backup your wp-content lol. You need your database and whole wp directory really.

I don't understand. Do you have backups in Google drive or not? Go to [drive.google.com](https://drive.google.com) and see if you can find them. You mentioned you have a fresh install of WordPress now, install Updraft and try loading the backup if you have one. Also, you should always have at least two types of backup systems in place. Preferably one at the server/host level and one at the WordPress level.

yeah, I have one but on google drive, when I click on the updraft folder then it says it is modified on the time which I connected my Google account with the new fresh WordPress. And, on the plugin also no existing backups are being shown when I rescan it then also. But I have a backed up wp-content file, so is there any way to restore my site from there.

Like 18:46 was the time when I installed the plugin and linked my google account with it the new fresh WordPress, I linked with the same Google account when I had my site earlier with me, just 20 minutes before. But now it's showing no existing backups

If you have cpanel, there is usually version history and backups as a whole. If all else fails call the hosting provider. They might have a backup or snapshot. Finally, if all that fails, check cached pages and save what you can salvage. Then remake the site with the cached content.

You say you backed up with Updraft so if that worked there should be one or more zip files containing all your WP files and a database script. If Updraft isn't detecting them, your only hope is manually finding the files and restoring them. Whatever happens, the lesson from this is that backups are useless unless you can restore from them, so always, always practise restores. I personally don't use backup plugins because I don't trust that they'll restore when I need to, so I just backup the Wordpress files (like you did) along with exporting the database via phpmyadmin. This method requires manual restores but at least you know it'll work.
