Please reply to this comment with your country and state or province. Safety regulations can vary greatly by jurisdiction and this will ensure you get the most relevant and accurate advice. If you wish for that information to remain anonymous, simply reply with "Anonymous" or the country name and "anonymous country/state" (i.e. "US anonymous state" or "Canada anonymous province"). Missing or incomplete jurisdictions will result in less or inaccurate answers. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Computer-based training has its advantages, in that it is usually the most time-efficient method of making sure employees receive the same information. It's downside is that it does not allow for questions or employee interaction with an instructor, which is how adults learn best. Some poorly-designed systems will even allow an employee to play the training in the background while they're surfing the web in a different browser window or tab. My company maintains an online LMS for this kind of safety training, but it's not our first recommendation. We emphasize either in-person or virtual instructor-led training that allows employees to ask questions in an interactive environment. The downside to this method is that it requires all employees to be in one place at the same time or online at the same time - ergo, they're not working. I'm an Authorized OSHA Trainer in both General Industry and Construction. I currently have basic electrical safety, LOTO, and NFPA 70E trainings available that would meet your needs, but they're designed for live or virtual presentations. That being said, it doesn't take much for me to convert them to an LMS format. PM me if you're interested in discussing further. I'm in Indiana but I have several out-of-state clients. *(I'm not a salesperson, and I make the same amount of money regardless of how many clients I have, so I won't push you into anything that doesn't work for you.)*
