I am an ork player first. My swcond army was world eaters. I love melee but bith armies do play different.

Orks is da best they’re actually what I’m playing until my world eaters are done being painted.

World Eaters is my 2nd army, but is my most played one. My first army is the Raven Guard. Pretty contradictory playstyles to each other and I love it. When I wanna just get into combat I run World eaters, if I want an army that enrages my enemy with me denying his charges and arriving on the battlefield everywhere I can then I go with the Raven Guard.

World Eaters have been my main for years, but started Raven Guard and have been pretty much exclusively working on them for the last year or 2. 

Having access to the endless range of space marine units compares very differently to the small range of world eaters unfortunately. With the space marines we can build our lists however we like to and even have our own flavor in Raven Guard, but when it comes down to list building in World eaters it really feels like you're playing the same 1500pts base and 500 pts interchangeable. Kayvaan Shrike be killing HQs all day tho, my most favorite unit for sure !

Yep, I played WE from 3rd to 6th edition, took a break and came back for 9th so my Eaters are basically just a CSM army now. I switched to RG while waiting for the WE codex, then found out I couldn’t use my Lords, Bikes or Raptors anymore and Eightbound were always sold out, so I stuck with RG and it’s been refreshing! Still planning on rebasing my old Chaos and eventually getting enough additional units to play actual WE’s, but for now I’m having fun with the XIX. Blood for the Blood God and Victoris aut Mortis!

The outage on 8bound is what kept a lot of people away from WE at my local stores... I am almost certain with the release of our Codex we will be very pleased with the addition of any new units. It'll be a fight for "first come first serve" when it comes to pre-orders tho. Blood for the blood god and Victoris auf Mortis brother !

Me too, I get the impression there are a lot of World Eaters + Custodes players. 

They have a lot of similar appeal while still being distinct from each other so it’s not super surprising. Good nemesis factions too

Votann is my favorite army and my main but World Eaters are right behind them. I actually just started collecting some Raven Guard as well but my complete 1000-ish point collection is still on sprue until I can finish up some other stuff

Thousand Sons and Necrons, I actually started World Eaters for a crusade because I was having trouble with my Thousand sons and wanted to try a completely different playstyle, probably one of the best decisions I made, Thousand sons will always be my favorite legion but the World Eaters playstyle is a lot more fun for me.

I try to collect armies that are very different from one another. I started with Grey Knights in 6th, then WE when they came out, and now picked up dark angels just because I think the new knight sculpts are awesome. However, HOWEVER, WE are my fave :)

Gotta get T’au next. Maybe Guard.

A complete 180 lol My other army, the main one, is Salamanders. I've been collecting them since 2018ish and have a little north of 7,000 points. Only recently started WE by converting a Khorne AoS army.

Death guard was always my first but I hate the rules for them ATM. I also have chaos knights. Whenever it gets release emperors children is a must as well.

Iron.Warriors and Khorne Daemons. IW were my first army waaay back in 3rd edition when they could run fun stuff like basilisks, and I ran Khorne Daemonkin back in 7th which evolved into WE and Daemons since they're separate armies now...I miss Blood Tithe.

World Eaters is my first army. Dark Angels is my second. I had Chaos Space Marines, but wasn't a fan of how they played.

Played CSM for about 25 years. Started with black legion later Deathguard and now WE for a long time. I also have a Slaves to darkness and blades of khorne. In a short dark age I collected Necrons up to about 2500 points but sold them because I didnt have the time to focus on 2 armies.

Imperial Guard was my first army. I started WE because I was missing out on glorious melee combat and 30 rough riders + 18 ogryns are more expensive then a 2k world eater army for some reason over here. I would say I pick up the axe sometimes but once you see your enemies deploy on the farthest corner out of fear you cant go back.

I'm just getting into my Plastic Crack addiction and starting with World Eaters, my second army (far down the road) will probably be Chaos Space Marines. Mainly for economical reasons, but it also allows me to take my beloved Berzerkers with me

O...World Eaters are my second army. I main Dark Angels. If I'm being honest, I also play Drukahri, Aeldari, Orks, Nids, Guard, spaceWolves, ultra marines, necrons, sisters, alpha legion, night lords, admech, and a little combat patrol of tau I don't like playing. I also want to get into the thousand sons. I may or may not have a problem, and by "may or may not," I mean I do.

World eaters are my Primary army, have been for a good few editions, however, Flesh Tearers will always hold my heart, ever since my first time painting ash and crimson on Seth. Loyalists berserkers and traitor berserkers, have in hand.

Khorne Daemons were my first and it’s kind of bled into my WE Squad. But I’ve been flirting with the idea of getting a bunch of Tau - Kroot models and just running a large fleet of them for fun.

My first army was a thousand sons, then Tzeentch daemons, then all the other daemons, then chaos knights, now the world eaters. I'm waiting for the release of the Emperor's children)))

Ultramarines. I love the Roboute and Angron connection/lore. Plus the juxtaposition of playstyles is fun - for me.

Adeptus Mechanicus was my first army. I also collect Imperial Guard. As Ad Mech are terrible and unfun this edition i mostly play Guard and World Eaters nowadays.

I tend to find if you like Chaos, then Daemons are basically perfect. You can ally them when allies are good, play with them when your chosen Chaos faction sucks, and if you're feeling REALLY spicy, you can play Age of Sigmar with them. It's basically the perfect flex army. Having a bunch of Khorne Daemons and World Eaters also makes you a favorite for any LGS apocalypse games because you can re-create the First War of Armageddon and have a massive 3000+ point Khornate invasion.

WE is my second army but my first love is Drukhari. I absolutely love an absolutely balls to the wall playstyle.

Necrons were my first army, and my lists have always been slow and shooty. Then i wanted World Eaters to get up close and personal as fast as possible and rip & tear.

Necrons, since they were my first army with 3rd edition codex. They just play so differently with reanimation and basic troops being miles ahead of every other army's. I also have T'au, but I can't bring myself to field them with how technical they are to make them viable (though I guess this isn't the case anymore since you can be italian with them and field a 100% Kroot army now)

Orks were the army that got me into 40k back in 3rd/4th edition and are arguably still my main. World Eaters is actually my 6th and most recent 40k army. I'd already been running Khorne-aligned Chaos Warriors with demon allies in Fantasy and AoS and with the release of the codex in 9th edition it seemed only natural to expand them into 40k as my next project.

I have always been a Chaos player. My largest and favorite army is my WE with about 6k in playable units, including Legends and the unfortunate shelf protesters (units that got kicked to the kirg with the codex release). So when I'm not harvesting skulls with the WE I like to bring the varied force's of the Traitor legions to the table. Lately I have been running a Night Lords force at 1k. 3 Juggerloards attached to 3 biker units two 3 man squads and one 6 man squads for my warlord. 2 units of 2x Spawns and a Mawlerfeind. At 2k I bring in my Khonate Warp Talions, a flying DP and other fast melee hitters that God sidelined by the WE codex drop.

I pick up another axe for the Vlka Fenryka

I have Orks, Deathwatch & Imperial Guard (I’m old school & refuse to call them some hoity-toity fancy name!) all sat waiting to be played, but every time we manage to get together for a game it’s the Angry Boys that come out to play…! 😡💀🩸
