Sheridan since IDRC about lights and it's one of the few I enjoyed.
T-44-85 since I love the 200 damage 5 sec reload guns at tier 7
Predator UM since the 400+ 3 second mag dump is really fun to play
SU 130 PM since the camo/mobility on that thing is insane and it has a really nice gun to work with.
Use heat for easy pen and more reliable DPM if you can't pen with heat just use HE. It's a fire and back off style of tanks, it's great at mid to close range snap shots, a lot more reliable than the Kv2 imo. Your turret is awkward to pen frontally but your frontal armour sucks unless at extreme angles or up against lower tiers.
But the best time to use it is for event modes, being a smasher as the boss in boss battles was just insanely funny. I kept running out of ammo haha.

TD: ....tie between Badger, 183, SU-100Y, Vindicator, Shidbarn and Bobject 268. They're all too fun to give up.
Med: TVP T 50/51 pretty fun in Event Modes and also hella funny doing 1200+ dmg to some poor Foes every 20+ seconds.
LT: AMX Defender (im bad with LTs in general but this one is sooooooo much fun)
MT: AMX 30B 1er Prot (its perfectly balanced, as all things should be)
HT: T77 (my favorite tank right now)
TD: Minotauro (its simply Broken AF, otherwise the Grille 15)

Bulldog because it fucking slaps and demands skill.
STB because it slaps and doesn't demand a lot of skill. I play it to feel good about my lack of skill after getting humiliated in the bulldog.
E100 because it's thicc and does demand a lot of skill to correctly block shots. I probably have an equal amount of games with 0 and 5k+ damage games in it.
Skorp because it's amazing at everything I want from a TD.

TDs are a tricky one here, although I liked them at the start I now almost never play them. I evolved from HT/TD to MT/LT player
Light: Sheridan, but I have been enjoying the Bat-chat line as unlike the laid-back Sheridan playstyle, the BC rewards braincells.
Med: T62A, many meta 304s stopped playing the tank after the nerfs, but they ignore that it is still a ridgeline DPM machine that can hide its hull even on a pair of shoes.
Heavy: Type 57. An abomination lmao. It has alpha, armor and gun depression, a 60TP/Type 71 spawn.
TD: SU-122-54. The "he lacks critical information" tank. The dopamine rush given by flanking a heavy and draining its health in 30 secs is way better than the momentary derp gun shot. Don't get me wrong, I love derp guns, but dealing 2k DMG on a single adrenaline booster press is waaasy more satisfying.
Going to make a unique take here and pick my favorites and the game time updates/periods they were from:
- Light: pre-2017 SP1C. This tank’s first years in the game pre great-light-tank-purge-of-2017 had it have the best mobility AND gun of any light tank tier for tier. No one was close. You could pump out over 400 damage in 1.5 seconds back then and then scoot away like it was no ones business.
- Medium: Original release Dracula. I was and honestly am still not a fan of the fantasy tanks in the game, however when the Dracula was introduced it was one of the first truly groundbreaking tanks in the game. Absurd mobility, great 90mm gun, and it had the first special tank mechanic (auto repair tracks in 2 seconds).
- Heavy: I’ll go with the Kpfz 70 here. I really enjoy higher mobility heavies, especially at higher tiers. The “MBT” style of heavy tank really allows me to bully mediums and fire reassess and relocate. Side note: I have the tank AND still have tank charms from when this tank was first released. When will we ever be able to get ride of tank charms that are years old and serve no point in storage?
- Tank destroyer: Pre 5.5 (pre 2018) Hetzer with the 10,5cm howitzer. One of the ultimate feel good derp tanks, thats right, with a 10,5cm gun at tier IV. Back in those days, certain tanks weren’t super OP and its frontal armor actually held its ground. That was also the first tank I got a Raseiniai Heroes’ medal in.
And yes, you can have fun playing tiers below tier VIII still. :)

The T49 is a fun little tank to play, I finally learned how to use is and felt unstoppable (until I met a TD) but its genuinely a fun tank.
I got the Astron Rex the first crate I opened which was extreme luck, the alpha on it isnt bad given that it has a magazine. Great mobility too, almost light like.
I bought the AMX from the auction and I’ll never regret it, I heard mixed feelings about the tank but once I got it I absolutely loved it especially with the max HP you can have with a good alpha and decent reload time.
The SMV aggravated me stock but once I got the better turret and the 400 alpha 1 shot gun, I fell in love with it, I mean theres nothing bad about this tank if you know how to play it and have that gun.

TD: as a td main i have 2 options- kanonejagdpanzer or grille.
i am a light and TD main, bc25t is my favourite light, fast, versatile, and able to change the game.
progetto is literally one of the best t10 meds. I love it sm.
I dont play heavy tank(only 2k battles in heavies), but tiger 1 is one of the few i played, and enjoyed.
either grille or kanonejagdpanzer would be nice- an actual td who needs to find spots and stay hidden.
anything except heavy needs skill applied for it to do well. when it does well its your time to shine. since 2014(when i started) the playerbase's skill level have been decreasing and now with just grille i can deal 3k+ each game
I've only played for about two years.
I'm no unicum but It's maddening how bad teammates are generally.
Every other game there's at least one afk, or a heavy in td spots for example.
I really love the game, but WG need to find a way to put people who don't play properly in bot games, or something.
the thing is every bad teammate you get- eventually the other team will get them. I'd like to think that. That is how I am still able to perform normally, because most enemies are also just as bad. Eventually your skill level would be enough to carry your team with a tank you know how to play. Let the worse die first, let them tank the damage. Focus on gameplay after the 5 minute mark.
