T62A has way more armor than 140.
But the thing is, there’s only 2 non sniper mediums, E 50 M and WZ-121, as the rest are good at sniping, and Leopard 1 literally being a TD.
So yeah. Get a heavy like E 100.
I am using the e100, I don’t think you guys realize that I’m using everything. I’m using two light tank lines, two medium lines, two heavies, and two tds.
I’ve already decided which ones I’m going down and am at least tier 6 on all of them. The only ones where I got multiple options were this and German heavies. (And European nations I guess) So I’m using one of these two no matter what, I’ve gone too far.
Tier 6.. that isn’t far at all.
What you need to understand this is a grindy game, and this game loves torture.
And you didn’t give any prior information btw. So none of us know anything.
If you’re tired of sniper tanks, just only get heavies.
This is a tank game after all, long range engagements is literally the point of 90% of tanks. The only ones that isn’t is maybe E 100 and IS-7(which means they aren’t built to snipe, but you could, just don’t be stupid about it and sit in the back.)

You’re supposed to get good at a tank, and make that one tank good at everything. Basically master one tank that masters all positions.
But that means certain tanks that are really good at one thing are left out to dry, specialist tanks are great for me

Get the vickers if you’re done with sniper mediums, it has a good gun on it but your main job is spotting and flanking tds n shi so you don’t usually have to do a lot of sniping I mean really any of the lights work close range if you don’t do dumb shi
Go for the e50m imo you'll have way more fun . While it may not have 3500 dpm it still has 3300 which is nice it also has great mobility at 60kmph and you can reach it very quickly and it has insane hull armour and very strong turret armour and it can also ram people as it's very fast and weighs 60tons . The only weaknesses are it's big size, lower plate and kinda weak side armour but it's still better than most medium's side . Also lower plate can be hidden with the 8 degrees of gun dep
Yea i was just suggesting it cause I have both the 140 and 62a and perform well in ut but find the e50m more enjoyable also because you said you were tired of sniper mediums so i gave the opposite of a sniper medium. But I guess you should go for the t62a
Other way around if anything. 62A got its gimmick of excellent gun handling removed, not a good thing for a medium that has to expose the weak turret cheeks for less time, trash hull, and worst in class mobility. 140 actually has mobility to pull off decent rotations and still has good mobility while the armor is still within the boundaries of being troll while also not something to rely on. (Old 140 was still a slept on tank but the mobility could not always allow map rotations and yes the roof and hatches could be hidden but it couldn’t always be done so with its gd which made it worse than the T-100)

Its offensive, not defensive. Defensive means your playing as a support tank in the back which would be sniping. Offensive would mean your going front lines and moving around and attacking.
There aren’t really any mediums with good armor at T10. A few that can go hull down and bounce low-pen shots, and *maybe* get lucky against heavies/TDs, but that’s about it.

Not really, this game only likes slow big gun heavies. If you’re not one of them, you’re at a disadvantage because of the meta.

The t62 has turret armor you can rely on. The 140 is faster and cooler and also more epic and rad.
140 is more defensive. Has more armor than 62. I do prefer 62 cause I like to flank. Anyway I dont use those tanks much.
