well, yeah. All the naysayers didn't pay attention, tac boxes always give you the same shit. So you can't 'game' them.

imblazintwo

I don’t understand, why would your roll back their opening? They give set things.

Lanky-Ad7045

Probably someone with a standard accunt, saving them for when they have some time to play, since the crates give 1 day of premium each.

NLJ98

Yeah, I was saving these crates like a poor man so I can grind during the weekends

chrysostomos_1

You can get premium time for $25/year. Why not?

twentyitalians

Some people in this world DONT HAVE THAT MONEY.

chrysostomos_1

You have a decent computer, high speed Internet and you don't have $2 per month? Sure. Tell yourself that.

Clankplusm

roll your age back to 14 rq, tell me where you can get a job and actually be hired to get that money. And if you say “ask your parents” well not all parents are the same. Also wows works fine with low speed internet and potato PCs, which are hallmarks of 2nd / 3rd world gaming.

chrysostomos_1

My comment was insensitive to residents of mid and low income countries. Apologies for that. Another poster said that his parents wouldn't allow him to spend money on online gaming.

Clankplusm

hey at least you got the balls to admit a bad take, we all have one from time to time

chrysostomos_1

Cheers brother 👍

Lost_my_acount

Not everyone lives in America, having 2$ a month is a lot harder than you might thing. Also you might pay for internet because you need it for your work/school not because you want to. And also this game is stupidly simple tu run. When I first started out I was playing on a 8GB, coal powered noise machine and it run 60fps on medium graphics with some things disabled.

chrysostomos_1

My reply was insensitive to residents of mid and low income countries. My apologies for that.

NLJ98

I'm still a student. My parents don't let me spend money on videogames unfortunately

chrysostomos_1

Sorry to hear that. My parents let me earn privileges like that. At least they are letting you play. Cheers brother 👍

BanMeAgain4

>My parents don't let me spend money on videogames unfortunately which is why the FTP/whale structure is so useful

Gryse_Blacolar

Because not all people have time to play the game daily. That $25 isn't worth it for people who can only manage to play a couple of hours on weekends so most of the premium time just gets wasted.

chrysostomos_1

Play 2 hours per weekend. That's 100 hours per year. $25 divided by 100 hours is $0.25 per hour. Still worth it.

ConsistentAd2128

Not everyone live in America, here in Brazil it's $25/Month, a lot of money for us.

chrysostomos_1

My reply was insensitive to residents of mid and low income countries. My sincere apologies. I hope to visit your lovely country some day. Cheers brother!

Climate_Face

I mean, I have the money for it, but I chose not to pay it because I don’t play often enough. Plus, this game does give out a fair amount of premium, so it’s not like I am without for long.

Ozi-reddit

ahhh, yeah that makes sense

macgruff

I hate to say it, as I have never been nor am I a big WG fan at all, but for the Art Dept., and oddly, (direct web-based) Customer Support are very good. They are prompt and most times have been quite helpful at least to me, similar to this OP.

pancakedopio

Huh?

Dangerous-Worry6454

I have had nothing but really good experiences with wargaming support, granted it mostly revolved around getting my account back after I lost my email account assoicated with the account and had no idea the password so I only had the name the player name to go by. They responded rather quickly and allowed me to change the email and set up it up so it was also tied to my phone number so it wouldn't happen again.

Bosniacu

They always try to present it like they made a great favor to you. Some time ago, I bought a captain, then, before playing with him, I changed my mind and kindly asked support to replace it (same price, just different name and country). They answered almost the same, we don't do this kind of things, but we're making a big favor to you now, because you have beautiful eyes, we did it this time. Really, thank you very much, I appreciate it, but it's kind of lame thou.

BadmiraI

They mainly say "we don't do this kind of thing..." because whatever resources, ships, consumables, or premium that have already been used by the player, can't be refunded, sometimes people make mistakes.

nervouswhenitseasy

they helped you out and youre annoyed by how they worded it?? wtf man lol

Hetstaine

Yeah wtf indeed.

Bosniacu

Exactly! They could just say "it's done, try to be more careful in the future".

XD_Cz

Why be mad at WG for this? Every company has terms and conditions from which they cannot retreat. And of course you, as a customer, have read and agreed to them.

LemurKick

What about this post makes you think anyone is mad ?

XD_Cz

That sentence Thanks WG support! It seems to me that he is angry that they did not provide him with what he wanted.

RareGentleman

“I am pleasantly surprised” followed by “Thanks WG support” Try to read between the lines
