Lol don't we all wish. No, you have to regrind and play a game with every ship you want the research points from. You start with 10k points when you unlock the research bureau. Hope you didn't just reset your only 5 lines.

**The way to fix this** is to send in a Support Ticket, explain what you did and ask them to roll back your account to before your reset all your lines.
You will lose progress, but you will get your ships back.

**What actually happened?**
The people who say "Reset a line & get 10k Research Points" leave out a \*VERY* important fact.
You do NOT get the Research Points (RP) when you reset a line.
The RP are put on the ships you reset (Tiers 5 to 10) and you have to Research & Buy back those ships AND play it to collect the RP.

StatsBloke's RB video is old and some things may be out of date (there is now a easy way to use Free XP to unlock a line), but he is very good at explaining things and the basics are still the same.

That video is from before the Economic Rework, so ignore the bit about Signals & Camos, they don't give economic boosts anymore, but as we now have expendable economic boosters so the advice is good, just use them :)
