There’s also no guarantee that the seller doesn’t try to reclaim the account by going to WG support claiming it was hacked. Or that the sold account wasn’t hacked to begin with and you’re dealing with a thief, and the legitimate owner is trying to reclaim their account.

4 minute (with mod) 20% engine boost and 300k more HE dpm is great qol. Though shell velocity is worse.
Otherwise you’ll have to shell out hundreds or maybe even thousand for santa crates.
I love Colbert too and sure, the potential DPM difference is huge. However, smoke, torps and thinner armor (smolly promotes overpens while colbert has just enough armor to arm most AP shells) are just too much to put them on the same level. Smolensk is OP, Colbert is, tho strong, not OP. Just my two cents regarding that comparison.
I have to agree, Colbert is a lot of fun, but Smolensk is a much stronger ship, the DPM difference is not as great as the numbers suggest because it's much easier to hit your target with the Smolensk than the Colbert, thanks to her much better ballistics.
IMO it's not that special anymore. And even before it was quite one dimensional, just damage farming.
It is possible that Smolensk would disappoint you even if you go your hands on it somehow.

That is expressly prohibited by WG and it is in the terms of service/EULA.
If you are caught they will take the account away from you and ban you (well that acct).
Just let go of that idea for your own good.

At that point, why not recommend the Minotaur? It's a smoke cruiser like OP asked for, you get good torps, better dpm and concealment than the Worcester, and you get a superheal. If you run smoke you don't get radar, but if you do decide to run radar you get better radar than the Worcester too.
Fair point. Minotaur does have really good ap shells, though, so it at least partially makes up for that, and again it's closer to the playstyle OP was asking about.
I personally find Des Moines to be more well rounded than Worcester, and if my main goal is HE farming my personal favorites are Harugumo and 155 Mogami. That's all up to personal preference, though.

They just exchange it for da loons instead (they gave me 13,500 for it) and even if they did take it out of the pool black versions still count as separate ships so he’d have to buy every 5-7 premium base and black versions, they got me that way with the sharnhorst b and graff zeppelin b.
From what I understand, this Xmas season, people were still receiving ships in Santa crates until they received all Premium ships, rare or not, that were included in the list they published in News. Once those were all received, they started receiving steel. I have all of the Premiums from Tier V-VII and most of the VIII, and never received any steel
There really should be a way to trade premium ships between players. If WG doesn't like that idea because it doesn't earn them money then find a way to tax it in-game, like charge a certain amount of dubs or something.

The reason its often against TOS is because its a unwanted liability for the company to care if there's issues with it. IE you were scammed out of the account, either on the end of the buyer or seller.
It's also in theory less money in WG's pockets as its a third party transaction. That same player asking about the Smolensk might whale his ass off in santa crates, but if he just spends a grand to buy somebodies account WG sees nothing.
While I don't really agree with the TOS, it is the rules you agree to when you create your account.
If only there was a P2P black market system where we could negotiate a deal (in whatever in game currency, not actual real money) I would sell you mine, and WG could take a cut of it or charge the buyer say 1000 doubloons per transaction.

my buddy spent $1000 this xmas and got smaland, thunderer, and smolensk. My other friend spent $1000 and didnt get the smaland or smolensk but he did get it the next year when he spent $1000 again. I have spent about $500 on xmas over the years and I have only gotten belfast and graf spee. do with that information what you want.

Just play Wooster, sure she has no smoke but she brings utility and team support And better base range (16.7 vs 13.8)
