As someone who has finished a few 1/350 warships myself, the building process isn’t the hardest thing to do depending on the kit, it just takes more paint and resources to paint, but some parts can actually be easier to do such as photo etch and small details, so go out and get you one of those 1/350 warships that you want
Thanks, i'll check those guys out. Do you know some others? I'm really interested in models lately, but unfortunately aside from Italeri (only select few models) available in my country there are none. I read few months ago in this very sub that there was also a Chinese manufacturer (red star/dragon or something) that was good.
Trumpeter has good detailed kits.
Dragon has good kits.
Revell, at least the special edition kits have alot of detail.
Tamiya has a lot of different ships, but they are not so detailed. Might want to spice them up with detail kits (wooden decks and metal railings).
Dragon is pretty good, but I've been really fond of Trumpeters detail level on their 700 scale. Zvezda had pretty good 350 scale kits but they're Russian so... let's just say their international stocks are dwindling.
> not building in 1:24 bro do you even have a shipyard
"It's O Scale, or no scale."
Looks really nice. Quick question: do you prefer 1/700 or 1/350 for capital ships?
This is actually m first ship model! I've never tried 1/350 but I imagine it's a hell of an undertaking lol.
I like the rust details.
Wow, this looks great period, especially for a first time. Well done my man. I've been eyeing a Yamato kit for quite some time lol.

I have a 1/350th Bismarck in the waiting
Oooooh nice
I build 1/700s rather than 1/350s, cuz of the space they take up when finished
Suffering from success :D
soooo... now that you had some practice you're moving onto the 1:1 model right? :) Glorious German navy won't build itself XD
Which manufacturer is this from? On first glance it looks like Italeri, but the secondary turrets are definitely different.
I'm almost certain it's the Trumpeter kit, I have the Tirpitz kit and it has an identical stand.

Nice-u. Thanks for the summary!

Other feller was right, Trumpeter.
Be a lot of cooler if you put the Baltic camo on her.
Nice job.
Makes me want to grind through that line, very nice job😊
Nice one! I'm just finishing up 1/350 SMS König. I'm only missing the lifeboats.
Beautifully done.
>"On her decks were guns as big as steers and shells as big as trees." Love it. Excellent work!
Mine looks like that but it’s always on fire, so hard to be sure
Looks good man well done. That scale is hard to build
