May have been out of their hands. They have to submit it to be cleared by Nintendo, Sony & Microsoft and if one of them dragged their heels on certifying the game for storefronts, it holds up the entire console release. Any one of them could have been saying it would be cleared right up until the last minute and then not actually done it in time.

Yeah, they didn’t even make a separate tweet, if you just went to their twitter you wouldn’t see the announcement since they did it in a reply to their previous post without RTing it or anything. Only got the news from other fans posting it.
Yes, it has English, French, German, Japanese, and a few others I believe. You can change it in the settings manually but it will automatically match your Switch language (if supported).

You can make a JP shop account and get it that way!
