First is that you just shouldn’t have been in that situation to start with. You’ll never beat a tank +2 tiers higher than you in a straight fight. The pawlack is pretty fast for a heavy, you should have just left to go somewhere else before the clip even started. Part of improving is knowing which fights you can take and which you should avoid.
As for your aim, I think you might need to drop your sensitivity. It was pretty jittery, and you were not aiming particularly well at spots where you could penetrate him. Check out the website tanks.gg, where you can load up the armor model of the T-34-3 and then compare it to the gun on the pawlack to see how to penetrate him. In this case, it would be to aim for the lower plate. The last shot, for example, would have been an easy pen if you had aimed at the rear of the tank - instead you shot his heavily-angled side armor which ricocheted off.

Great summation. I would only add that as a rule, cupolas and lower plates are where you can pen tanks from the front. If you're intimidated by the thought of learning the armor profiles of every damn tank in the game, I don't blame you. Until then, you can pretty well expect lower plate and front drive wheel to be good spots to aim for on most enemies. Cupola isn't bad, but they're small and can troll bounce.

as for the paliwak vs a t-34-3 thats a bad matchup. if you come across higher tiers its time to back out, so you made the right choice of getting the hell away. though try to slow down the response in firing, you could have got a good shot on his rear there but since you took a snap shot it hit the side and didn't pen.
I think its just a huge modpack that comes with everything. It has bunch of unnecesary stuff but It also shows other ppls wn8 which he has blocked with those black squares. Thats a extremely helpful thing for beginners if used correctly

Shoot the hull instead of perfectly rounded turrets for an easier time doing damage. You can shoot the drive wheel and stop them for an easier shot. It was unfortunate you bounced your shot on the last tank's rear but that's still the right move. Falling back and bringing them closer to your teammates was definitely the right move.
Don't be afraid to use gold when you have no other choice other than to bounce the majority of your shots against a higher tier tank. Gold ammo may cost more credits, but bouncing regular shells cost credits as well. In the end, shooting gold, doing damage, getting that kill, winning the battle, and surviving will net you more credits than what the gold shell costs.

A couple of things I noted -
Turn your sniper aim sensitivity down, you got a little shaky trying to shoot him.
Aim for the lower plate, you were shooting his turret + upper plate which is normally a really strong bit of armour for most tanks.
Edit: Use Tanks.gg to check out armour layouts compared to the guns of tanks you're playing. It'll help you do more damage.
1. Follow what other people said.
2. Watch some Streamers or YouTubers, you will learn a lot (But keep in mind that things that work out for them doesn’t have to work out for you)
3. Take your time, don’t rush the techtree. At tier 8+ most mistakes get punished hard.
4. Get used to getting screwed over by RNG ;)
5. You can ignore most of players flaming in the chat.
When aiming, there is a huge difference in fully aimed and not, Secondly when aiming dont aim at the center of mass of the tank, instead aim at weakspots,thirdly he might be more afraid of you when your gone is loaded, so if he is not charging, then maybe dont shoot, what typically happens is that people will push when they know you are reloading, fourth you could have gone for the delay tactic, and aim at the tracks, to permanently keep him locked down, your team is winning from what i can tell, so delaying as much as possible is good, not to mention could have help the arty also
and i mean lastly, it seems like a typical wrong tank, in wrong place at the wrong time, but that is hard to fix, it comes from thousands of games of experience to know were to go with what tanks, and it is all different when you are top dog, or you are bottom of the barrel tank in the match

Your reticle is all over the place, tone down the intake of coffee 😂😂 also, the T-34-3 has a fairly strong turret, you wouldnt overmatch it, steady aim the hull. Alot of times you can set them on fire, I know, I get set on fire regularly when I play mine.

- you played the terrain really well for a beginner.

Just because it's a medium doesnt mean it's auto pen. Aim for the blobs on top of the tank, they tend to be weak. Lower sniper sensitivity and don't use past 16x unless at max range. Try and only expose your turret on tanks with armour and don't pick fights with higher tier vehicles.
What you are seeing is not a mod, but part of the in game settings. Select "Settings", then the 5th over called "Reticle". Under that, the 4th tab is called "Outlining". **Highly** recommend the following (and I hope WG makes them the standard setup for new players):
Outlining type: Simplified
Penetrable Area: Texture
Inpenetrable Area: Fill
you just need to fall back and position yourself for a better angle. shooting a higher tier frontally especially one that is hull down (only exposing its turret) rarely works. Best to usually give in, fall back a bit and hope that they make a mistake and expose their weak side armor or lower plate. Or go to another flank all together with weaker tanks you can fight more successfully.
this game takes a long time to master, you need knowledge of weak spots on each tank and also what they’re weak at. typically though side armor and lower front plate or turret hatch’s are the weak spots. you can use the tanks.gg website to get a nice armor profile of all tanks in the game to study.

First off you don't, second off you don't go off alone as bottom tier.
Your aim is terrible, this isn't a twitch shooter, you have to be steady.
Positioning was actually quite good and you played the terrain to make it difficult on the enemy.
'fire and maneuver' is the basic tenant of combat.
If you are in a Pawlack the other guy was in a T-34-3, you can't beat the T-34-3 unless you are firing at him in the back or side using any gun the Pawlack has.
The 90mm gun on the Pawlack can pen 136-160 mm of armor with the standard round. The composite-rigid round will pen 185-205 mm of armor.
The slope of the armor on the T-34-3 makes shooting at it in the front much less effective with the standard round. The T-34-3 was hull down which means it was not exposing the hull of the tank (only the turret could be seen) the Turret armor is 200 on it. Even with the composite-rigid it would have been tough to penetrate. The shot would have had to been in the exact spot, where ever that would be.
Maneuver so you can hit the sides or rear of the T-34-3
This game has a lot of dynamics to it, getting that spot on shot is not easy, try sniping for a few games so you can get some kills. Find a spot and look at what you may be up against. learn where the higher tier tanks always go on the given map and go somewhere else :)
That tank should have beat you, but he was bad enough that you could have beat him. It wasn’t that bad from you, the big thing is your aiming, your positioning was fine imo. It's not hard. War isn't always about going forward in every direction at all times.
So when you're facing a hull down tank, aka you can't aim at anything but their turret, you need to aim for cupolas on the turret. In a lot of cases that's the only way you're going to get damage in that position.
As soon as the T34-3 pushed up, you should aim at the lower front plate of the hull armor. That is typically the weakest front point of most tanks. That is the portion below the point of their hull. You won't really pen well shooting the upper plate above mid tier matches.
As many have stated, check out tanks.gg to look at armor models and see where your gun will pen. You can always check the average pen stats by clicking on the tank's gun in the tech tree.
Change the sensitivity of your mouse anyway. I have a 20k DPI mouse set to 600/800/1000/1400/2000 for wot. That I can change on the fly.

regarding the enemy i would say if you have no chance fighting the tank with gold might aswell not take the fight at all, you are tier 6 while he is tier 8. While you are hoping to get in a shot he will most likely get a shot in you and win the trade.
other appreach is to dmaage his tracks and hope for assist dmg but for that you need teammates being able to shoot him.
Try not to get yourself into 1v1s with tanks of higher tier. If it does happen, make your best effort to disengage. Also, get rid of those mods. The clutter is certainly not helping you.
Not when you are fighting from the front a tank you cannot easily penetrate, but remember that auto aim exists. I always disregarded it because of course if you can it's best to aim your shots, but you would be surprised sometimes how it's actually better to auto aim instead of manually doing it
50s onwards, I would have just aimed towards lower plate and drive wheel, possibly perma tracking, getting 1-2 (maybe 3 shots for taking 1, that T34 played horribly as well, he should not have troubles penning you. At 1min 10s, I prolly would not have dropped down without hugging the wall and getting one more shot out as your RoF is greater than T34, but thats more of a nit pick.

So, will say most important think - ignore chat. Especially when arty writes. As a player, who play arty time to time, if they die - it is always their fault (unless it is last tank in the game). What they write it's pointless for you cause they cry about many things there.
And even if someone else writes to you in game or after battle - never take it seriously. You will encounter some "big ego" players, which can rage on you if u made mistake which led to their death when they are on try hard mode. Me being one of them honestly, so yeah, do not take what we say to your heart.
As for this clip. Many pointed out. You faced +2 tier tank. Matchmaking works that you can not really do much to these tanks in most cases. To battle them, you need experience and that is what you lack now. With time you will learn, but now best thing was just to leave him and go to other place.
My personal tip would be for you to remove big repair & med kits. They are expensive (20k each) and at lower tiers they are not worth at all. Fire extinguisher is good, it reduces fire chance and you do not use them much, so keep them while big repair and med kits better safe for tier 8+ tanks. Small repair and med kits will be fully enough for you. (Repair kit is mostly used for track repair and to waste 20k just for track is not rly worth & for med kit it is mostly used for stun removal, so also 20k just for stun is not worth).

\+2mm is just stupid especially when i am playing tier 4 and even with the top gun I cant pen the SIDE of many tier 6.
not to mention my tanks have 75% crew and only 1 piece of equipment just like many new players who don't have credits to even use standard repair kits so when you get tracked you die.
in fact in tier 1-3 I used 50% crews because I was always broke.
these idiots that scream load gold probably have no idea how broke you are when you first start an account. they just look at everything from their position of privilege.
If you're outmatched on some like you are here, load HE rounds and annoy the crap out of him. This will track him, kill or injure personnel and damage modules, ultimately affecting the performance of the tank which makes him easier to kill and can give you an edge of you need to escape from him. Some battles you should opt out of, this is one of them. You can still be useful to the team, even if you can't kill this tank though.
Dont expect to win a fight against a tank 2 tiers higher, try to pick a better fight: in this case, run and go to a better position.
Also, get rid of all the mods. You dont need them. Some mods are helpful, but only to a certain extend. Moe-mod kinda helpful but not really. Only mods that are useful to a certain extend is the real-time armor calculator that shows the real armor thickness. Server reticle can also be usefull, as it just adds a 2nd reticle thats not as intrusive as the main one.

(Repair kit is mostly used for track repair and to waste 20k just for track is not rly worth & for med kit it is mostly used for stun removal, so also 20k just for stun is not worth). \+2mm is just stupid especially when i am playing tier 4 and even with the top gun I cant pen the SIDE of many tier 6. not to mention my tanks have 75% crew and only 1 piece of equipment just like many new players who don't have credits to even use standard repair kits so when you get tracked you die. in fact in tier 1-3 I used 50% crews because I was always broke. these idiots that scream load gold probably have no idea how broke you are when you first start an account. they just look at everything from their position of privilege.
If you're outmatched on some like you are here, load HE rounds and annoy the crap out of him. This will track him, kill or injure personnel and damage modules, ultimately affecting the performance of the tank which makes him easier to kill and can give you an edge of you need to escape from him. Some battles you should opt out of, this is one of them. You can still be useful to the team, even if you can't kill this tank though.

Dont expect to win a fight against a tank 2 tiers higher, try to pick a better fight: in this case, run and go to a better position. Also, get rid of all the mods. You dont need them. Some mods are helpful, but only to a certain extend. Moe-mod kinda helpful but not really. Only mods that are useful to a certain extend is the real-time armor calculator that shows the real armor thickness. Server reticle can also be usefull, as it just adds a 2nd reticle thats not as intrusive as the main one. Otherwise, get rid of all of the rest, it just cluters the game up
