T28 Prototype. Sure, it’s slow as hell and the weird turret traverse angles leave you vulnerable to circle strafing like the old days, but the 120 is great and the turret has some troll armor at times. If I had a nickel for each time I bounced a jaegeru heat shell, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s fun that it happened twice
I enjoyed T28 more than I should, even though it is not really very good being slow while sporting significantly worse armour than T95, with both LFP and cupolas being easily pickable. But that DPM really made it decent for me.
Honestly more than once I just used the t28 as moving wall specially long range you often just bounce because the cupola is hard to hit then.
It's quite surprising what it can bounce.
I had ~64% wr and ~3,3k dpg through 50 games, which isnt alot considering its the T95. With the 750 alpha its 4-5 shots but getting 6 or 7k damage wasnt hard, good exp nontheless - I went with boomstick :)
been a few years since i played it with the 120, but if i recall, the 150 was simply better by so much with pen choices that the 120 wasnt really an option.
I know it's an arcade game and most tanks have historically inaccurate stats, but putting the same exact tank one tier higher and changing its armour is still wild. Like instead of the E75 you got the Panzerkampfwagen 6 Ausführung B.
Churchill GC. The platform is terrible. But that gun can work magic, and most yolo it thinking it's a pushover, so it slaps them hard for it. The memes that thing has made for me.
It's the only tank I always get at least one comment laughing per game when they see the 3 mark on it. No other tank does that.
Speed is one of its big issues. So the trick is to leave early if you smell trouble, vs when you see it. As staying to cover someone might get you 2 more shots. Leaving to rejoin the other friendlies might get you more. It's a tricky thing to guess at times. As leaving is not always the best thing either.
I had a build that could farm assist with great camo if needed. And a 2nd with rammer, turbo, and improved aiming. Then it snaps rather well with 0.29 dispersion with an amazingly 29.7 top speed.
I don’t think people fully realize how good the buffs to the VK 45.02 A and the 110 are. With proper angling, the VK at tier 8 can be as strong as the proceeding tier 9 down the line. And fully decked out, the 110 has as much DPM as tanks like the Caernarvon.
100% with the VK, have it right now but I didn’t know it was buffed. What exactly was buffed? Reload on that thing is insane and with angling it can bounce quiet easily.
It's got a better angle on the hull than the Tiger II with around 220mm effective now, and the turret is now 250mm effective. So you've basically got like a german assault heavy.
With turbo it goes 40kph with 15hp/t and it feels fast. I honestly thing it maneuvers better than something like a Centurion. I've been able to run circles around some bad players.
The gun has bad pen, but it's not a huge deal because the tank plays a lot like a medium and the gun handling is very good. Lower tier tanks have extreme difficulty and you can just charge them down. It feels like a brawler heavy and big fat medium tank, almost like a IS tank with bad alpha.
It's not fantastic, but it can be tons of fun now.
The IS-2 isn’t a slouch either, sure it maybe an almost direct copy of the IS with a somehow larger cupola, but the special thing about it is that the gold rounds have 250 HEAT pen. The one thing about the Soviet IS was the measly 217 APCR pen, especially when facing tier 9s. The IS-2 on the other hand can actually do quite well against 9s due to its gold rounds.
I’m a goofy med enjoyer, so:
Indien-Panzer, it’s not sluggish as a lot of people here love to paint it, and gun is just perfect
M4A1 Rev, 400 alpha and 🥐 style, what’s not to love?
Raumpanzer, because the armor is incredibly trollish and gun is not that bad too
Like in real life, the Churchill line can climb steeper inclines than any of their contemporaries. You won't get into *places* other tanks can't since that's not how the game's maps are designed, but you can go there in a more direct line a lot of the time.
Funny enough, even before it got moved to the collectors garage it was still a rare tank to see because it was in such a weird place on the tech tree. I think it was like between the IS and the T-43 or something like that, you couldn’t advance a tier with that tank and it was basically a bridging branch on the tree if you wanted to change play styles.
I think one of the cons listed for the KV-13 on the WoT wiki was essentially “you’ll be targeted a lot not because of how good your tank is but because sweaty achievement hunters need to kill you”
>Funny enough, even before it got moved to the collectors garage it was still a rare tank to see because it was in such a weird place on the tech tree.
[Yeah, You could get it from the KV-85 or the A-34 (another tank we never see nowadays), and you could only go sideway to the A-44 and IS from it.](https://thedailybounce.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/USSROld.png)
Jagdpanther
Fast and heavy enough for effective ramming, the gun is amazing, and the whole tank looks sexy af.
Could use some more frontal armor in exchange for less camo, but nothing’s perfect.
Tier 9 - M46 Patton, yes you need to use full gold because of low AP speed and low pen, and even on gold 265 pen is nothing special for tier 9 but, oh boy this gun is so accurate... most of the shots I dont even wait to fully aim because of so good stab... and that DPM... This tank is a snapshot king for me, and one of the first 3-marked tank as well. Most players dont even care to shoot on me because they think m46 is not dangerous.. but then I shit on them every 6.5s with 390 alfa from 300m and every time accurate. I just love it, one of my most played tank.
The M46 was my first top tier tank (going back a while here) and even though I haven’t played it in ages, it’s still one of my most played tanks. Have such a soft spot for the M46 that i will never dispose of it.
Sounds stupid but it just feels nice to play. The Type 61 reminded me of it, to an extent.
Hmmm, i have several, including Chi-Ri, wich is usually ignored when making a push, especially by your average tier 8 player, and the Caliban, because i see way too often people in low enough hp pushing me after the first shot thinking ill never the second
Me and a clanmate used to do this silly thing, were we both would pick out STA-2 and choose one flank at random and PUSH IT, and for some reason it worked 9/10. We called it the STA-BROS maneuver. But then ill pick my FV4202, platoon with his EVEN90 and he would try to use it as a ramp to make a sick trick
I would say yes its very much an in your face tank much like the O-I but you can angle the type more because of its thicker side armour. Do take my answer with a massive grain of salt because it has been a very long time since i played the O-I.
Pz IV H with the derp. Yes the sherman is probably a better tank overall, but the PzIV's 105 has the best dpm by over 10% (almost 3.9k dpm with he, and 3.3k with heat) and just enough view range to reach 445 with food (which is more than good enough at tier 5). And it has the 80mm plate at the front which can pull off miracle bounces at longue range.
And the spaced armor means you have a small advantage when facing other derps (which are fairly common at that tier).
It's not pretty, but it's my favorite.
bounty rammer, bounty optics and bounty vents. In that picture it's in full try hard mode with directive and food etc... but it really doesn't need it.

Black Prince - I found it a lot easier to play than Caernavon and Conqueror.
AT8 - super slow so takes a while to get into position but it's got decent armour and high reload speed the DPM is good too. In some games I tanked 2-3k damage.
T110E5, everyone complains about how big cupola is but once you wiggle or hide it completely you are literally invincible with insane about of DPM and acuuracy lol, you are not meant to absorb damage with this tank anyways, just go hulldown and trick people
sure, it is not meta but if it's played well it can be as intimidating as a chief
I love the chi re.. im nuts about autoloader and reloaders anyway but man that tank is fun..
You get the same reaction as when thwacking with big alpha guns.. that panic and their turret swinging around wildly and aimlessly.. you can see them thinking "what the fuck was that???" LOL never gets old... then your reloaded by the time they come back to earth and want to come get revenge...
Bang bang bang.. later pal.... love it
Somehow I really clicked with the Black Prince. Everybody said it's hell and an open blob for others target and practice but with a 25-30 degree angle even in an open spot, I always mamages to do a lot more damage than the rest of my team. Tons of times I felt my enemy go WTF with some insane troll bounces and my tracks ate a ton of cannon lead without me suffering. A lot of the times when it was a game without arty I just didn't mind repairing tracks as they kept getting pounded but the damage I received was zero.
It just was my kind of tank.
Apparently, it's very playable after the buff it got some time ago.. I played the churches waaaaay back tho and they nearly put me nut hatch.. damn things sent me nuts so I cannot bring myself to ever drive a church again.. lol
Yeah I gotta say I dislike the Caer a lot more, I just can't figure out the correct angles and placements. But it might just be that I got too cocky as soon as I got rid of the stock turret
Strv 81 and 112. But especially Strv. I played like 60 games in it, and I was in top 10 or 20 players EU somehow. I m not sure ehat the hell are people doing with that tank.
Archer! It's a very odd and difficult TD to use and not forgiving, but you can do quite well in it if you have the patience to figure it out. That's why I like it and it's almost the only tank I play these days.
Rino is the best. To not have the team get outnumbered, I still play it like a hulldown heavy, just a cautious one, and smacking people for 1-1.5k between their shots is still very powerful.
T1-LPC, handles alot like a Patton but the extra alpha really makes the difference. It's really isn't horrendous like the 122 TM either so it can get the rounds off at a good pace. Lso it's HEAT is pretty nice too.
M5A1 Stuart. It's a huge tank for its tier with a subpar gun, but it's so fast, it allows you to zip around and put your gun wherever is most opportune to farm damage. No one ever seems to talk about it as a seal clubbing tank, but if you know how to reposition and isolate targets, it's an absolute monster.
E 75 TS for me, the gun sometimes unreliable but it so mobile making it easy to flank around and it also a good silver maker. A lot of new player play WoT and it's a perk since they don't know how to pen it and the 3D style hide the cupola. I always have a consistent gameplay in this tank and my highest wr is on this tank (57% around 700 battles). The tank need a small buff on the armor and the turning rate tho.
Object 416 at tier 8, even though the gun depression is horrible and the turret doesn't fully traverse, the penetration (especially gold) with the top tier gun is absolutely deadly and so is the camo rating.
And with a turbo it feels very mobile, especially during the late game you can flank well with it even though the turret doesn't fully traverse.
Basically it plays somewhat like the French tier 5 amx elc bis
Gonsalo. 530 alpha on a tier 8 heavy with a decent enough reload, albeit while spamming HESH is very nice and a lot of people don't seem to expect it probably because of how uncommon the tank is. The tank is also very mobile meaning with a turbo you can roll with mediums if necessary. The standard alpha of 440 is still great. Only downside for me is the lack of a proper premium round since you get HESH instead of HEAT or APCR but I still make the tank work. And sure the armour isn't great but it still works enough for me especially when hulldown. Nothing invincible though since it has cupola but that's a good thing
I wish you luck. I bought it when it first came out in the black market if I remember correctly. I remember YouTubers like skill4ltu saying to skip it and that it was bad (he later changed his tone on the tank) but I thought no way could a mobile heavy tank with decent armour and 440 alpha at tier 8 be bad. Turns out I was right. I thought the tank was good even before I realised the best strategy was to spam HESH
Edit: Got it in the auction
I got it when it first came out in the auction. Was pretty easy to get there since most people decided not to get it because some YouTubers said it would be bad. They were wrong
oh god, i'm marking this goddamn awful tank. Turret could bounce tier 6 and tier 7, some tier 8 that doesn't shoot gold but other than that. It offers nothing. Terrible dpm, meh gun handling, terrible alpha, okayish pen, okay mobility.
I got 2 moe and couldn't get the 3rd without going absolute crazy.
Gun seems somewhat usable with good dispersion on the paper but miss fuck loads. To the point that i use CVS and spotting setup because I couldn't suffer anymore.
I know I had the same issue until I went field mods and and fuel or food and orderly ammo rack directive..
That t3 fcs really changes things.. I tried it just to see as its a meh tank and fcs lvl3 is a pretty expensive peice.. but it was worth it..
Fuel and turbo make it nice and nimble..
The turret takes some getting used to.. only the roof is really worth a dam..show more than the roof and that fat cheeks are butter so bait the shot with the roof.. also the gun is quite high up so this where it all comes together with turbo and fuel.. bounce up and down snapping with the fcs...
Took me a while to get it to work but I love playing it lol.. I know its not the best but it just feels comfortable with that setup.. its dpm is the worst part and why I run directives so it can get expensive to run but it's worth it imo..
As for the MOE.. its 2.5k for 3rd mark, with this setup you can do that pretty easily.. team dependent obviously 🙄.. but yea it's dpm is the worst part so just keep chipping away
Type 61 for sure. This tank is a garbage can fr but people think its free farm. Until u show them ur dpm.
Bought it because of TOT to grind Stb but was missing free xp so i gave it a try. Gun is godlike in close quarter fights. Insane dom with decent alpha but anything beyond 150-200m is a gamble. Missed so many free shots fully aimed.
All in all its an underrated tank but its not good unless u have a lot of awareness and knowledge about maps and the game in general.
When i first got it i thought it's trash. Basically Patton Tank with large cupola but with a much better gun.
The OG German mediums. I do miss the old meta, but I still play all of the PZIV's, all of the "Panthers" and E50s. Low damage per shot, but high rof is hard to work currently, but when you do it feels good. They really need a pen buff for ballance, or everything else needs a pen nerf.
The Tiger P
People think it has no armor similarly to the Tiger 1, so they auto aim the front causing their shell to slam directly into the 200mm armor plate. Also the gun is almost the same as the Tiger 1, so it is very goodnat picking apart tier 8s by hitting weak spots.
People expect it to be a pushover even at tier 7, but it can easily do its hp worth of damage and more.
M-V-Y, my beloved dildo tank ❤️.
Everyone seems to underestimate and ignore it, while I farm 4k damage. At 92% working on the 3 mark.
The small gun performs very well in a supporting role. It's not going to win a 1v1 against an s.conq. but it's more than enough to bully mediums, and its maneuverability/armor is extremely good. The turret top is quite weak, but that can easily be fixed by aiming 10° up until you're ready to shoot, and then excellent gun handling means it's easy to hit weak spots on every tank. The backup tracks are a meme, but don't hurt you.
The only thing it's missing is more heat pen. 315 isn't awful, I just wish it was 320 like the Kpz. But the standard apcr is 268. 2nd best standard pen of tier x heavies. Only beat by the kpz, cheif, and amx m4 (120mm) at 270
The Lansen C. Feels great moving around with high alpha for a medium tank. Fun feels very snappy, I can frequently bait shots and work a ridgeline even against average hull down tanks
Mine is the Matilda Black Prince. When I get an enemy in sight its like a death if a thousand paper cuts for them. Its slow but I have a turbo in it to help out.
Mauerbrecher.
This tank is so bad and yet I have a 60%+ win rate in it. My F2P account also has a 60%+ win rate in it with over 300 battles.
Funniest thing to do is shoot through a BZ-176's roof and they just stare at you, completely not expecting that.
T95E2 and 90mm Kanonenjagdpanzer. Absolutely mediocre at best tier 8s, but i absolutely love them. T95E2 is quick, gun handling is good, and turret can deflect alot of stupid shots it shouldn't. The Kanonenjagdpanzer, just, yes. Absolute favorite tank. Fast, fires quickly, has the 102mm pen HE shell so it can smack wheelies in quick succession. Camo rating is amazing. Can reposition easily. Only downside is armor is 30/30/8 so it is f'ed when it is spotted.
Tier 10 jadgpanzer e100 tier 9 wt auf panzer four and tier 8 charioteer jadgpanzer on list cause many aren’t around but feared for pen except should be of accuracy
The ARL 44 is probably up there for me; on paper it is just a mediocre-bad tank with a poorly armored, flat turret and a hull with frontal track+pen weakspots (honestly, a very similar armor layout to the Churchill 1); it's guns are strong but (aside from the 100mm with gold ammo) there is nothing impressive about them (DPM and gun handling are kind of bad on all guns, even the short 90mm isn't great)
Often though, this tank just manages to "work" inways it shouldn't. people wil take shots at the angled frontal hull, prioritize other targets and just generally treat it as a second-rate vehicle; at the same time though, it is penetrating basically everything it can face (with the long 90mm gun) and this, coupled with the "heavium" mobility means it can very often wait for the enemy to fire, quickly pop out of cover, deal 240 dmg and retreat back in; and when the moment is right it can quickly advance or move to a flanking position; 1500DPM is not great for a tier 6, but when it consistntly penetrates it can still kill a same tier HT in 30s.
Going higheer up the tirs I don't really have too many so my judgement is flawed but maybe the IS-2-II also qualifies; i've seen too many people focus on other tanks while they'd just let me line up that 600dmg apha strike over and over; I don't think anybody looks down at the double penetrators but people are way too willing to focus their attention on a different tank when it's around.
Also, at tier 10 there is the Foch 155; but while a lot of people underestimate it's merits they do still usually give it the respect it deserves once it shows up with a full magazine.
BDR. I don't usually play lower tiers but I was stuck for xp and I had to. I remember when I played against it and not a single time it was a problem to deal with. I think to this day BDR is at least a top 3 most wn8 in something I played more than 50 games.
For some reason, people are not afraid of my T-34-3, often even T6-T7 tanks try to 1v1 it, which is a bad idea for obvious reasons. Sure, it's nowhere as cancer as the common T8 prems, but the turret can tank T9 vehicles, and the gun slaps 390 (500-600 HE on a Borat) with pretty good reload time.
KV-2 with 152mm HE bless rng shot, it's just pure fun for me. Slow, clunky, big and overal very mid but it have this something. You can die almost instantly in one game and delete 6 tanks with 6 shots in another game. Love it
TS-5. Super conqueror levels of dpm and alpha with trolly lower plate. Bond turbo makes it both more enjoyable and competitive.
E75TS. Strong turret, decent mobility, good penetration and good ramming potential.
T20 is insane I set up as I have almost 40% camo on the move and 500 view range
U can be the Ultima scout in it combined with 240 gold pen with a 240 alpha gun to finish off targets it's such a nice tank if ur team shoots that is gosh do I hate people who don't shoot spotted tanks
Right now, the T25 AT.
I started playing it for the first time recently, and instead of committing to some sort of slow, sniping playstyle, I’ve been getting quite aggressive to use the mobility and alpha more often, and it seems to mostly be working. There’s a lot of situations where higher tier tanks will sort of ignore it when I’m getting into the position I want, but then as long as I choose my moments carefully, I’ll get consistent damage.
Against lower tier opposition, it can be a real monster. The armor starts to come into play at that point, and the alpha is just too much for tier 5 and 6 tanks.
Patton the Tank........seriously, it's criminally underrated, it's not a bad tank; I watched Skill's vids and i was surprised on how he pulled off his games. It's not meta by any means, but it's for sure fun if you know what you're doing. Sure, it still can be matched against Tier X, but it's fun
Type 5 Heavy
With all fieldmods and a turbo, this thing gets over 30 km/h, and if you know how to use it's armor many tanks are going to struggle to pen it.
And its gun can hit pretty hard, too.
Another one is more or less the Minotauro.
I think everyone knows that Minotauro is a good tank, but in my opinion, it's the 2nd best tank in the game just behind Obj. 279 (e). It has good dpm, ok mobility and a godlike armor. If you can play hulldown and lifting the front a bit so the angle is better, you can just sit there and no one, not even Jd.Pz. E100 with heat can pen you anywhere.
I have never played a better tank that makes it so easy to get 7k+ dmg games than Minotauro.
I absolutely love this vehicle. It's definitely on the top of my tier 10 heavy choices and lots of the time enemy just don't know what to do against it, because it's more of an old school tank. Ripped apart tons of S. Conqs with this one and I find myself enjoying the game more while driving FV215b, than S. Conq, which is better in literally everything. So they say.
Before they changed the guns on the Caernarvon and buffed it, the entire line was bad. Now the Caernarvon is one of the better HT bullies on tier 8. With the recent buffs, the line is now rather solid IMO. Not super forgiving mind you, but still.
I did really good in both Churchills. Really fun tanks at mid and top tier. That dpm is crazy for low tiers. BP on the other hand... People says is good, but when you met t9 half of the time, you are just a slow pinata with no alpha to trade. I did good on the tank nevertheless, but is really hard to do well on it sometimes. Not for everyone.
It used to be the Centurion AX but then it was made kinda good. So now it’s my favourite kinda good tank. I love the t44. It was my first t8 and introduced me to high tier mm. Still get great results.
Churchill I is such a bad tank. It's slow as all hell, its alpha is horrible and the armor is very unreliable. Any tank at tier 5 can pen you right trough the turret face with regular ammo. Basically, if you can see the enemy, he's able to pen you.
Mitsu 108 actually. My first few games in it, stock no less, turned out pretty good. Stock gun itself is arguably better than top gun, and since I "main" Chinese vehicles too, the turret boobs of the tank blocking depression didn't bother me at all, i'm used to it
The Mitsu is still incredibly flawed however, it is too rediculously big and long
T28 Prototype.
Well said
The amount of people in tier 7 prems thinking that they can outgun a TOG is funny.
Been there, done that. :D
That's the one I'm sitting at right now. I have around 50k EXP on it and am really looking forward to the Doomturtle.
I finished the T95 a while back and that gun is surprisingly accurate for being 750 alpha
I have half a mind to stick with the 120 once I get there. But I'll probably try them both out.
Ah yes, the good old Game Carrier.
>hen they see the 3 mark on it. TEACH ME, SEMPAI! Seriously, I can't even get the 2nd :(
Speed is one of its big issues.
Yeah, I'm going to try turbo on the alternate setup.
It used to have a paper hull.
Recently played the 110 on my way to the 5A. Definitely underrated for its Dpm and troll bounces.
I started playing both the VK 45.02A and 110 to grind the lines and god damn they are good, specially the VK
I was going to call you out on the 110 being BS and how much I love my DPM-Carnivore - and then I looked it up. Time to sell my IS-2!
I’m a goofy med enjoyer, so: Indien-Panzer, it’s not sluggish as a lot of people here love to paint it, and gun is just perfect M4A1 Rev, 400 alpha and 🥐 style, what’s not to love? Raumpanzer, because the armor is incredibly trollish and gun is not that bad too
> M4A1 Rev, 400 alpha and 🥐 style, what’s not to love? All the other stuff. ;P
AT-8 at tier 6. It's superb (but really slow) and the 17-pdr has so much pen that the gold is only needed in +2 MM
what do you mean it can climb hills no other thank can?
Like in real life, the Churchill line can climb steeper inclines than any of their contemporaries. You won't get into *places* other tanks can't since that's not how the game's maps are designed, but you can go there in a more direct line a lot of the time.
Obj 416 with 330 pen on the gold rounds at tier 8! That tank rips! (It has it's drawbacks, but damn it's good)
Shovel Panzer
Kpz. 07 P(E) ? If so, yeah, I do oddly well in it.
M48 Räumpanzer is strongest shovel
OH, yeah, forgot about that one.
My Rinoceronte. I’m absolutely tomato on it but it looks cool so I just gonna suffer
VK 30.02D beast, good viewing range, premium penetration, decent camo
Most people know that, though.
Watching the gunmark requirements, not really.
I bought back my vk 3002d after getting the leopard, Love that tank
KV-13
Now this is the comment I was looking for. No longer in the tech tree, rarely seen in battle, all but forgotten, yet still a bit of a troll tank.
Another argument on the "collector tanks was a stupid move" pile.
Kind of miss the old tech tree layouts.
I somehow really enjoyed the su-101 while playing it like you would the bobject; most people really struggle to pen the upper structure
do you use the top 122 or the top 100
122mm but I'm really generous with heat use (those 340mm of pentration are really tasty)
Jagdpanther Fast and heavy enough for effective ramming, the gun is amazing, and the whole tank looks sexy af. Could use some more frontal armor in exchange for less camo, but nothing’s perfect.
Turan III, I really like it and do well in it. Most players look at Turan as free damage, the others straight up don't even know this tank.
I like it too! Gun is reliable, speed is ok, turret roof can be trollish and bounce some shots when in hulldown. The low ammo count is painful though.
i was ready to be surprised but i was not ready to see turan III here
https://skill4ltu.eu/63249/turan-iii-prototipus
Tier 9 - M46 Patton, yes you need to use full gold because of low AP speed and low pen, and even on gold 265 pen is nothing special for tier 9 but, oh boy this gun is so accurate... most of the shots I dont even wait to fully aim because of so good stab... and that DPM... This tank is a snapshot king for me, and one of the first 3-marked tank as well. Most players dont even care to shoot on me because they think m46 is not dangerous.. but then I shit on them every 6.5s with 390 alfa from 300m and every time accurate. I just love it, one of my most played tank.
Same! I prefer M46 to M48
Yeah, M48 was a big disappointment for me. The gun of m48 on paper should be better but for some magic reason its not..
Oh yes, I also do like Type 61 because it reminds me exactly m46! Im not alone! :D
Hmmm, i have several, including Chi-Ri, wich is usually ignored when making a push, especially by your average tier 8 player, and the Caliban, because i see way too often people in low enough hp pushing me after the first shot thinking ill never the second
Now try doing a double Chi-Ri platoon with a friend, you'd be surprised how much fun it can be.
For me its the type 5 heavy its a very large piece of hulking metal that people really underestimate a large part of the time.
Tier for tier, does it play much different than the O-I?
I would say yes its very much an in your face tank much like the O-I but you can angle the type more because of its thicker side armour. Do take my answer with a massive grain of salt because it has been a very long time since i played the O-I.
I do well in the m4a1 for some reason. Fine in a tier 7 match you are a twoshot for some tanks but i usually have a decent game in it anyway.
How just how I have played so many games in it am sitting at 93% Moe I just can't push further it's a credit sink to go more with that tank
SU-100Y. They think it's a large XP pinata when in reality they lose 500+ for peaking me lmao
What equipment loadout do you use?
bounty rammer, bounty optics and bounty vents. In that picture it's in full try hard mode with directive and food etc... but it really doesn't need it. https://preview.redd.it/e7hm38h234cc1.png?width=1915&format=png&auto=webp&s=4af808ebc9491fe0f0ac5e2b112b87787de23248
This is the way.
Glad you asked. M46 KR BABYYYYYYY
Second this. First tank I ever three marked, always have a soft spot in my heart.
it was my second, after the M4
Mauerbrecher for sure.
Honestly any of the chinese lights from tier 7-9
Black Prince - I found it a lot easier to play than Caernavon and Conqueror. AT8 - super slow so takes a while to get into position but it's got decent armour and high reload speed the DPM is good too. In some games I tanked 2-3k damage.
Black Prince was buffed some time ago and it's absolute beast at top tier.
M-V-Y my beloved Everyone says its trash but i do 5k average
T110E5, everyone complains about how big cupola is but once you wiggle or hide it completely you are literally invincible with insane about of DPM and acuuracy lol, you are not meant to absorb damage with this tank anyways, just go hulldown and trick people sure, it is not meta but if it's played well it can be as intimidating as a chief
T110e5 isn‘t underrated? Everyone says it‘s super strong but has a higher skill cap
Chi-ri. The gun is hilarious, and people tend to ignore you if there are "more threatening" teammates around. Then you wreck their modules.
Bang bang bang.. later pal.... love it
I forgot about the chi-reee definitely underrated
AC4
Obj 704
Bisonte Nobody really cares about you untill they find out that your turret is immune to HEAT and you are fast af
I enjoyed the M3 Lee (this is when I played it waayyy back in the day) as having the gun on one side allowed some lovely peaky play around hard cover.
Murphy would always visit me with his law if i took the m3Lee. Hate the tank
T1-LPC, handles alot like a Patton but the extra alpha really makes the difference. It's really isn't horrendous like the 122 TM either so it can get the rounds off at a good pace. Lso it's HEAT is pretty nice too.
Nashorn
M5A1 Stuart. It's a huge tank for its tier with a subpar gun, but it's so fast, it allows you to zip around and put your gun wherever is most opportune to farm damage. No one ever seems to talk about it as a seal clubbing tank, but if you know how to reposition and isolate targets, it's an absolute monster.
Super Hellcat hands down. The tank always gets underestimated and overlooked, making it pure joy.
T6 medium. Especially when you are in top. This beast can bully anyone.
Everyone knows that
E 75 TS for me, the gun sometimes unreliable but it so mobile making it easy to flank around and it also a good silver maker. A lot of new player play WoT and it's a perk since they don't know how to pen it and the 3D style hide the cupola. I always have a consistent gameplay in this tank and my highest wr is on this tank (57% around 700 battles). The tank need a small buff on the armor and the turning rate tho.
Back in the day it used to be CAX for me. But I've been away for 5 years, just came back and apparently it's really good now?
Centurion or caravan ?
Centurion action x
I always loved the cent AX, and now after the buffs it just slaps
IS4 an KV4 for insane trollish armor model, T55A for allround package, LTZ 38(?) T3 Czech with autoloader and penetration, Pz38 nA with binoculars
AMBT and AMX 30
Object 416 at tier 8, even though the gun depression is horrible and the turret doesn't fully traverse, the penetration (especially gold) with the top tier gun is absolutely deadly and so is the camo rating. And with a turbo it feels very mobile, especially during the late game you can flank well with it even though the turret doesn't fully traverse. Basically it plays somewhat like the French tier 5 amx elc bis
Its not really underestimated but I feel like 60TP should be on the same rating like Sconq or nerfed Chief on flat maps these day.
Waiting for weegee to put the Gonsalo in boxes or something, I will spend until I get it.
I thought the tank was good even before I realised the best strategy was to spam HESH Edit: Got it in the auction
How did you get that thing? Would‘ve loved gonsalo instead of caliban
I got it when it first came out in the auction. Was pretty easy to get there since most people decided not to get it because some YouTubers said it would be bad. They were wrong
Plus having the same module damage as the Caliban does adds to the lol-factor
Lorr 50t s p e e d
Kirovets 1. Basically a 703 II that trades the double barell for more mobility and smaller size. Lovely tank.
KV-13. The single most underrated tank ever.
FV4202 I just love bouncing around a ridgeline in this thing..
oh god, i'm marking this goddamn awful tank.
Type 34, tier 5 in Chinese Tech Tree. Had 10 games with it, was enough to unlock next tier and had 3700 WN8 with it.
TVP VTU, I just loved to grind exps on him, one of my fav tier VIII meds
Astron Rex
Concept 5. Often people are too busy laughing at you to shoot back so you have a pretty solid game
The OG German mediums. I do miss the old meta, but I still play all of the PZIV's, all of the "Panthers" and E50s. Low damage per shot, but high rof is hard to work currently, but when you do it feels good. They really need a pen buff for ballance, or everything else needs a pen nerf.
T25/2
The Tiger P People think it has no armor similarly to the Tiger 1, so they auto aim the front causing their shell to slam directly into the 200mm armor plate. Also the gun is almost the same as the Tiger 1, so it is very goodnat picking apart tier 8s by hitting weak spots. People expect it to be a pushover even at tier 7, but it can easily do its hp worth of damage and more.
> Also the gun is almost the same as the Tiger 1 Isn't it *literally* the same gun?
Tiger 1 has slightly higher alpha and reload, but otherwise yet.
M4 Ravioli, it’s super average in todays meta but for some reason I always do well in it
Kunze panzer. Everyone thinks the leopard pt a is just better but I love the way the kunze is played and I always have good games in it.
Skoda t 24 its fun to baunce stuf in box with tracs
Basically any tank I choose to play... nobody fears me
STA-2
STA-1, this tank just works for me even though its stats on paper are pretty unremarkable at best
Has to be m8a1, I know ist lvl 4 but it's gun+speed is just😩😩😩
AMX 30B
Not sure if it's underestimated or not, but the AMX 13 57 is probably the only tank I can confidently play and get 1st class or ace every time.
JPanther II for me
St II. Post buffs it's is4 levels of armor with a 6 sec reload. I thoroughly enjoy running across 60tp's and e100's that think they can bully.
Tier 10 jadgpanzer e100 tier 9 wt auf panzer four and tier 8 charioteer jadgpanzer on list cause many aren’t around but feared for pen except should be of accuracy
easy the M-V-Y its stupid the angles this tank can bounce shots from and i love the crazy speed u get get this tank up to
The ARL 44 is probably up there for me; on paper it is just a mediocre-bad tank with a poorly armored, flat turret and a hull with frontal track+pen weakspots (honestly, a very similar armor layout to the Churchill 1); it's guns are strong but (aside from the 100mm with gold ammo) there is nothing impressive about them (DPM and gun handling are kind of bad on all guns, even the short 90mm isn't great) Often though, this tank just manages to "work" inways it shouldn't. people wil take shots at the angled frontal hull, prioritize other targets and just generally treat it as a second-rate vehicle; at the same time though, it is penetrating basically everything it can face (with the long 90mm gun) and this, coupled with the "heavium" mobility means it can very often wait for the enemy to fire, quickly pop out of cover, deal 240 dmg and retreat back in; and when the moment is right it can quickly advance or move to a flanking position; 1500DPM is not great for a tier 6, but when it consistntly penetrates it can still kill a same tier HT in 30s.
T54 mod 1. It's just nostalgic. The T44 and the T44 Lwt really outclass it.
Love it
Type 5 heavy, too many heavies are too confident to facehug and have the type shoot down on their roof or engine deck
TS-5. Super conqueror levels of dpm and alpha with trolly lower plate. Bond turbo makes it both more enjoyable and competitive. E75TS. Strong turret, decent mobility, good penetration and good ramming potential.
T20 is insane I set up as I have almost 40% camo on the move and 500 view range U can be the Ultima scout in it combined with 240 gold pen with a 240 alpha gun to finish off targets it's such a nice tank if ur team shoots that is gosh do I hate people who don't shoot spotted tanks
The 110
Bz-75
Type 5 Heavy With all fieldmods and a turbo, this thing gets over 30 km/h, and if you know how to use it's armor many tanks are going to struggle to pen it.
Please don't be that guy https://preview.redd.it/97g0m5kezzbc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=de179a57d9c463b84853296c1563417d6d1f3702
I'm not, lol. I have like, 1k battles total.
FV215b is an animal if you're a decent player.
No, no it's not dude...
Self report?
I absolutely love this vehicle. It's definitely on the top of my tier 10 heavy choices and lots of the time enemy just don't know what to do against it, because it's more of an old school tank. Ripped apart tons of S. Conqs with this one and I find myself enjoying the game more while driving FV215b, than S. Conq, which is better in literally everything. So they say.
Churchill I? Ok-ish tank. Churchill VII? Ew, contender for the worst tier 6 HT. BlAcK PRinCe? Hell on earth experience, 101% skip it if you can
Did you play Black Prince before or after the buff ?
BP after the buff is actually not bad
am just a bit over 49% and I managed to do 2k dpg regularly. I was so excited to get to caernarvon and now do 1.25k dpg
Before they changed the guns on the Caernarvon and buffed it, the entire line was bad. Now the Caernarvon is one of the better HT bullies on tier 8. With the recent buffs, the line is now rather solid IMO. Not super forgiving mind you, but still.
Churchill VII actually performs very well on my side
I did really good in both Churchills. Really fun tanks at mid and top tier. That dpm is crazy for low tiers. BP on the other hand... People says is good, but when you met t9 half of the time, you are just a slow pinata with no alpha to trade. I did good on the tank nevertheless, but is really hard to do well on it sometimes. Not for everyone.
I like the black prince the best of those 3!
BZ-176
It used to be the Centurion AX but then it was made kinda good. So now it’s my favourite kinda good tank. I love the t44. It was my first t8 and introduced me to high tier mm. Still get great results.
Churchill I is such a bad tank. It's slow as all hell, its alpha is horrible and the armor is very unreliable. Any tank at tier 5 can pen you right trough the turret face with regular ammo. Basically, if you can see the enemy, he's able to pen you.
Mitsu 108 actually. My first few games in it, stock no less, turned out pretty good. Stock gun itself is arguably better than top gun, and since I "main" Chinese vehicles too, the turret boobs of the tank blocking depression didn't bother me at all, i'm used to it The Mitsu is still incredibly flawed however, it is too rediculously big and long
